• Hi everyone, I'd like to share this change.org petition with you all. I know Nintendo said there wouldn't be TOTK DLC, but with this petition, maybe we can have a chance. It's small right now but I'm trying to get it to grow. I would appreciate if you'd all sign this and maybe share it with a few friends or repost the link. Thank you so much.

  Also, I understand Nintendo is unlikely to listen but it never hurts to try. They won't listen at all if we do nothing.

Do you have any issues with your Switch 2? For me, I have an issue with it over wifi. The e-shop doesn't load 90% of the time and instead gives me an error. This is fixed if I hardwire my connection via the dock.

I think it has something to do with my wifi band or something but honestly I'm not gonna mess about in my router settings to fix something I only use maybe 25% of the time.

I have to get myself an ethernet port splitter so I can keep my switch 2 hardwired and also hardwire my other consoles like my PS5 and Xbox Series X.

This morning Nintendo released a video dedicated to Animal Crossing New Horizons version 3.0 update, coming out on January 15, 2026.

There's going to be a free update that is going to release on the same day that the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game.

The update is full of new items and some new features that will bring some fresh air to the game, specially if you are into any of the things they are collaborating with such as Lego, Splatoon and, of course!, The Legend of Zelda.

I tried to make the video start at the point they introduce the Zelda updates, but might not work with all the device.

By the sounds of it, the way to get the items is by scanning Zelda related amiibos. The items seem to potentially include disguise sets as the video shows BotW Link's wig and clothes as well as Zelda's Wig and dress from Tears of the Kingdom. There is a wallpaper and floor to mimic the lost woods, there's the rupees, the Majora's Mask making a come back (not sure if we can wear it or just wall

I was just thinking about grammar and how much of a big deal or a small deal it can be to different people.

When I was younger I was always trying to have good grammar because I was afraid people would know it wasn't my first language if it was bad.
But I also remember feeling annoyed at certain mistakes. However nowadays I don't care as much. I still care about proper capitalization and punctuation and I will try to get it right, but it is not a biggie if someone skips a comma or misspell one word that is easy to guess what they mean. Part of that is because I feel like nowadays I feel like I am more prone to accidentally misspell words or swap the order. For example, instead of cliff-hanger I will accidentally say Hanger-cliffs, very matter-of-fact by the way, I rarely catch myself. And it is not because English is my 2nd language I do that while speaking in Spanish too.

Anyway, how about you? Do you have different standards depending the medium or who it is addressed to?

What do you think of Call of Duty's yearly release cycle? Personally, I'd like it to be 1 game every 2 years. I feel that would make more sense and be easier on the players, especially if they're going to be pushing shop bundles for skins and such.
