Would you ever consider donating your old handhelds to a museum of technology if one opened in your area?

What old Nintendo games would you want rebooted? What old titles would you like to see rebooted for the Wii U or the upcoming NX?
-
It was fun, although I was expecting more news about the NX. Nintendo was very reserved about a console that should be less than a year away.

QuotePam Edwards thought she was just playing a Super Mario Brothers video game. She didn’t realize her boyfriend, Shane Birkinbine, was game for marriage.
Edwards, of Bentonville, Arkansas, didn’t know the game level she was playing wasn’t on the level. Birkinbine, a self-described geek, had used “Super Mario Maker,” which allows players to create their own levels, to fashion a wedding proposal.
Edwards was having a good run, scoring points. Then she came to a series of giant letters.
Birkinbine, who was filming the proposal for YouTube, couldn’t help but hint to her.
“What’s that say?” he says on the video.
“The blocks. It spells out your name, I think.”
They did, as well as the words, “Will you marry me?”
Spoiler alert: Edwards says yes.
But, as the video shows, she stays focused on finishing the level.
The video scored big on social media, including more than 12,800 Facebook likes, according to the New York Daily News.
No word on wedding plans, or whether the couple plan to have their registry at Nintendo.
If this isn't the most adorable thing you've watched today, than I don't know what is...

Did you watch Microsoft and Sony's presentations?
-
So, what do you think about Nintendo's presentation at E3 this year? Did it rise to your expectations? What did you like the most?
-
To exist would be first on the list...

This game drives people with OCD crazy. But I like the website's name. xD
-
Too bad they decided to make their own names public instead of releasing the game anonymously... But then again, maybe this will give them a job opportunity... Some gaming company might reach out to them and ask them to join their team...

QuoteIf you're the kind of person willing to spend $5,000 on a gold-plated NES, then oh, do I have some news for you. Hardware manufacturer Analogue has created a new version of its NES, and this one is plated with 24-karat gold.
The Analogue Nt 24k Gold was created to celebrate the Legend of Zelda's 30th anniversary--the first two Zelda games on NES both had gold-colored cartridges. If you decide to drop the five grand on the gold console, you'll also receive an original copy of the gold-colored Legend of Zelda cartridge.
The Analogue Nt is an aluminum console that's built with original NES hardware. It can play both NES and Famicom games while outputting video through HDMI. You can check out a first look at the console right here.
It's worth noting again that the 24k gold console's enclosure is still made of aluminum and is only gold-plated. It also comes with a transparent baseplate, which allows you to see the circuit board.
You can see what you get inside the box in the list below:
- 24k Gold plated Analogue Nt
- Premium Limited Edition Box
- The Legend of Zelda (original gold colored cartridge)
- RGB or HDMI upgrade
- Full cable set or HDMI cable
The Analogue Nt 24k Gold can be reserved right now for $5,000. If you want one, you better act quickly; there are only 10 units available. If you'd rather just get a normal Analogue Nt, you can for the much lower price of $500--you can add different colors including Gold and Famicom for an extra fee. Unfortunately, they're sold out at the time of publishing.Would you have spent $5,000 on this console?

I wonder if Nintendo would file a lawsuit if these people hosted their site with a hosting company located in a country that disregards copyright complaints, such as Russia or the Netherlands...
Edit: I meant to say country*, not company.

To celebrate Legend Of Zelda's 30th anniversary, some fans decided to create a browser-based replication of the title that started it all on the Famicom / NES.
Go to http://http://zelda30tribute.com/ to play a voxel-based adaptation of the 8-bit classic, built entirely in WebGL. You can play either using the on-screen buttons or your keyboard. Hurry up before Nintendo shuts the site down.

Which is the handheld you have your first memory about? Which Nintendo handheld did you first play on as a child? Do you remember how old you were when it happened?

I'm surprised nobody has posted a photo of Trump and Putin together in this thread.

Xbox One fanboy here. I don't like Sony and I would never buy a PlayStation.
