I might remember ZR, although more as a project than a place that I joined. I think it was down by the time I attempted (Yeah, I let months pass between the invitation and actual attempt to join). That third timeline seemed kind of rushed to me. They just threw all the old games there. I don't like that LoZ/AoL is the last indecline. AoL basically was a way to explaining the Princess zelda thing, even with SS big reveal, I think this games should had been a bit above to have Zelda descendants or else it is kind of pointless. I also am not very convinced OoX fits well between aLttP and LA. :XD:
I know the idea of connecting them has been strong with fans since I first joined the forums. It is now very convoluted. you find a certain name or symbol ina game and you don't know if you should take it as a hint of a link between that and another game or simply a nice cameo.
I don't care much for the NX rumours at this stage, so i guess I don't really care. Off the bat, it sounds more like the classic expectations turn into rumours that anything else.
Even if it is truth, I bet that it won't be by much. They did the same rumour about the Wii U.
With this said, I gotta agree with the sentiment that they need to develop new IPs, make things easier for third parties to develop and convert, as well as going back to focuss in how a game bring something new instead of how to make a controller that brings something different.... and drop the "Wii".
It seems like a cool fanfic, at least at beginning. It is interesting all the thought pour into it with the clothes, gems and what not.

I used to argue that Sheik was male, precisely for the OoT incarnation in both the artwork and Melee. However I didn't think of it as gender transformation from Zelda.
It is just that as a character Sheik was supposed to represent a male Sheikah. So for me Sheik's gender isn't tied to Zelda's but on her intentions. Definitely Zelda is trying to pass off as a guy with that disguise.
Just like when girls cosplay as male anime character, said character is not feminine just because the cosplayer is of another gender.

I think a lot of the debate originates from having different goal posts. We are not dumb, we by now know it is Zelda in disguise, that is not the problem. The problem comes because from there we can take different approaches. One I see often is the magic versus plain disguise argument. Depending if you think Zelda uses magic or is simply very skilled people will argue how that affects Sheik's gender.
It is just a little perk. the newest pokemon games lets you customise a bit more your character choosing hair and eye colour on top of your sex. Later on you find some shops where you can spend your battling money buying clothes, hats and haircuts in addition to the usual pokemon survival things. To be honest I haven't progressed enough in the game, so I am stuck with an earlier change of luck I did with my character. I kinda want to start over but I don't want to lose my pokemon.

.But If kaynil wants to make a theme logo for the forums, that has "The Legend of Hyrule" with the Pokecavern logo next to it, like the zelda one. We can make an identical theme for the pokemon side.

I was thinking in 3 skins actually. They all are basically the same, just the header/logo changed. The default one could be a simple neutral one, either with a bit of everything or with devoid of direct references to zelda, pokemon, etc.
Then we enforce the pokemon logo one for the PKM related areas, the LoH for the Zelda areas and if you add other Franchises, we could do the same. Though this would lock us into just using this style.
I tried to recreate your idea by adding the stripes you mentioned from beginning.
I don't have the font you use for the motto. I have the psd file which I can pass so you or your friend can tweak it if you want.

It is more like a preset choreography to show the capabilities of the Wii U, the first time to see how it handles textures and effects for day time, second night time and the third is free reign to zoom, change angles or day and night and admire its capabilities. That is a very cool video and I know it upseted people it was not Zelda U.
It reminds me so much what happened with the Spaceworld 2000, the demo video showing link and Ganondorf fighting had people hoping for a realistic Zelda sequel to Ocarina of Time... then the Zelda in progress was revealed to be what we know as The Wind Waker. :XD:

for the mean time, I'll just say you have a better theme than ZeldaDungeon.
I hope we can eventually get a flexible theme that will give no problems to mobile and tablets visitors that won't favour tapatalk. Since ZD changed their colours now I feel like it is too similar to the Look of ZU. I think it is great we have a colour that sets us apart and has been consistent for a good amount of time.

Thing is, another character you find further in the game, Impaz, recognizes you because Illia talked to her about you. So she must have survived the kidnapping without getting amnesia.
This is part of the shock, you are not expecting her not to recognise you at all when you finally meet her at the city. :pokerlink:
The mansion was pretty cool. I remember it got me stumped for a while with one of its puzzles.
