There used to be a ZREO Zelda reorchestrated, they released a non-Nintendo sanctioned Twilight Princess cd, they remastered reimagined and performed all the TP songs.

They also did WW and OoT songs, google them you will probably find it

This is one of my favorites

I am pleasantly surprised to learn their website is still up with the music. I remember that when they announced they were closing down the ZREO project everybody was making mirrors and backs up of all the tracks and stuff.

I love the N64 and I still have one with OoT and MM :)

Same here: In Mexico, we had ours still around and plugged when I moved out and In Australia, we made sure to get our hands on a console and our childhood games. N64 is a must-have in my household. Zelda, Mario Kart, Mario Party, Goldeneye solo or with friends it is still a blast!

So, let me give you an update on my working situation. It's been 4 months into it. I passed my probation period and then we had the holiday season which means an increase on hours and problems with restocking. They were working on renewing the lease, then the place will get a nice renewal and stuff. I am also covering for a coworker that is out until the 8th of January. This Wednesday 4th we were going to have a meeting.

Then Saturday came along, and among a lazy morning start with little work, the head chef called us in for a mini-meeting. Which was basically a stop what you're doing and make a circle around me kind of meeting. We were all already in the same room. The front Manager was present as well.

Lease renewal deal was never completed because the price jump was too much so the owners of the franchise are axing us. We are being made redundant with no chance of transferring. 8th of January is our last shift if we make it as they are depleting provisions and staff if calling sick, so I honestly doubt it.

One of the back managers and cooks was also that day and all he said was "I knew, but I was told to be quiet" which honestly irritated me because he wasn't even the one giving us the notice today and probably would have complied to wait until Wednesday. Yes, they were going to tell us until the 4th that the 8th is our last shift! Can you bloody believe it? The head chef that told us, I am willing to bet he basically told the front manager m going to tell them today with or without you guys kind of scenario and that is how we knew. He only works weekends and he seemed both angry and like he couldn't give a crap about any problems arising in the place.

Not very wise of me to vent in a public forum but who cares. Happy new year! Back in the bloody hunt for stable income again.

    *takes out the Tequila*

I just keep laughing at them making us pay for our uniform shirts and hats and probably knowing a few days after we'd be fire and still taking it out of our weekly pays.

    *takes a shot of tequila*

I keep laughing at them making us wear name tags and talk all the changes the shop will go on with renovations and stuff.

    *takes another shot*

I laugh at all the massive cleaning we did the week before Christmas. Well played.

    *takes another shot*

I also laugh at how I reminiscence about my interview talk with the chef that left the place a month after he hired me, on how all I wanted was a stable place I could work for years if it'd have me because I was tired of jumping around. Woot!

This place is a franchise, I thought in the far off thought of this happening we'd be compensated or offered a transfer. Might as well go and dance with the fairies.

Haha, sounds a pretty productive Zelda and Netflix day.

Woke up early to try and fill my girlfriend's stocking with gifts, & make breakfast, but she woke up and ruined everything because she's awful.

Then we exchanged gifts, which was fun. I got a new Blue Snowball microphone, and a really lovely Zac Gorman print.

We to my parent's house, gave them our gifts, played some Boss Monster & Dead of Winter with my siblings, ate dinner, helped my sister install the new graphics card I got her, and that was about the whole day. Went home, played a little WoW, went to bed.

I don't know how partners have that built-in radar when we're trying to keep hush-hush to do something nice for them. Happy to hear you spend it together.

I visited my parents for Christmas. My mother had been running around the house making everything red and putting Santa dolls and silly penguins and moose everywhere.

Since I live very far north, it's very dark around this time. We also don't have the Thanksgiving or Halloween holidays, so we go all in for Christmas and we put up lots and lots of lights inside to banish the dark. There's candelabras and glowing stars in the windowsills and lots of candles, all warm yellow lights and no flashing ones. We had a real tree and used the same decorations we've had for decades, many hand-made. The weather was mild and we didn't get any snow, but we did get a bit of hail and a storm.

We had a lot of food and everybody had to fuss a lot to do all the preparations. I made different kinds of cookies. We traditionally open presents on Christmas Eve, but this year we did it on Christmas Day too because the whole family couldn't be there the same day. I got several home-made and edible presents, which makes me happy because I don't really want stuff.

There was also a lot of board games being played. My sister-in-law loves to play and win, so she used any free opportunity to get us to play.

It was a good holiday this year. I've not been in the best mood lately, and I'm very grateful of this occasion to be part of something.

That sounds pretty lovely, 'zilla. I am happy you had such a close-together event with your family.

I am happy to hear that you considered it. As you see our community is small so any help we can get is greatly appreciated. Even having a new one or two extra posts a week on the main page would help us heaps, hahaha.

Please, do not hesitate to contact us should you ever change your mind or find there is a way you think you can help us out. In the meantime, best of luck with those dubs, and your channel :)

Well, the games tend to have a lot of stuff spread off through different games, which allows for some calls no matter which game do you decide to start with.

:OoT: and Majora's Mask are probably the most obvious sequel games showing beyond a doubt the same protagonist so playing OoT help you explain things further, however, what we miss if we don't play OoT are only the nods to that game so a person can enjoy MM without having to play OoT to make sense of it.

the intro and outro would make no sense,

It makes enough sense in the sense that it is the same zone where we see him start the journey so he got back to that point safely. The drawing on the log by MM context could had been the skull kid, just like he did in Termina. Through ooT we know the possible name of the zone and the friend we don't get to see.

the ocarina and Goddess of Time would make no sense

The Ocarina is explained by a flashback. OoT only expands more on why Zelda holds it and why it has mystical powers.
regardless teh Goddess of Time, ooT doesn't really provide any concise information, really. I think only MM makes allusion of that name.

you wouldn't really know what a skull kid was meant to be

But that is not something you need to know to emphasise with the skull kid in this tale.
I actually think it is just as satisfying playing ooT second and discover one by one the references from MM. Finding how Link met Epona, doing the mask exchange quests with the skull kid, finding the familiar faces and slowly understanding that the text at the begining of MM is relating what you're living through right now would be as exciting for a gamer.

I started with Ocarina of Time, so imagine my surprise to find the Sage name's being provinces for 'Adventure of Link'. For people that played AoL, OoT was the throwback moment, for either the idea that the sages were immortalised through provinces was understood regardless the order. Then with AlttP checking the three pendants, sword, Sages, the Kakariko music and the Lost Woods area. The more games you paly the more things you start to piece together.

So, I don't think it is a must to play any other game but I think that playing more games expands the lore and meaning of some elements you passed through other games, enriching the experience and making you feel more connected with that world.

I haven't had a chance to be online for the past new days. I am happy you managed to finalise the game and even make some starter park. This could even be used to give it a Zelda spin and make a small activity or something. Anyway, I will try them both soon enough.

I really appreciate you kept us up to date and shared all your progress, Zilla. :D

It's almost finished. The only thing missing now is making the endings shiny. I'll do that and look at that polygon bug, and then I'll launch Teh My Room Adventure FOAR.2!

Oh and cross-browser testing. I almost don't want to know how messed up it might be in other browsers, haha.

You are such a fast worker. I can't believe you are almost done with it.
What surprises me the most is that this isn't even just some port as you actually added some enhancements from the original version as you went along.
I can't wait to test it out!

I get what you're saying regarding the typical voices and I am happy you guys were trying to focusing not so much in getting the voice of your dreams as much as the voice able to bring to life each character beyond the trite. The effort is enormous and while I am handicapped to enjoy till the end, having yet to finish SS on my own, what I have followed has made me quickly accept the choices for most characters.

I said in one of the Ghirahim videos that it sounds like an audiobook, like a radio show and I am not kidding. The quality is great and that is how I enjiyed the first episode that crossed past my own progress in the game. It is quite commendable.

(Also, I just got the Ghirahim lines for the finale in from Joshua... Chills.

That's so exciting. He does such a good job on Ghirahim and it is already the finale. This is such a cool ride.

Hmm... I think I joined a year or two ago under a different name but I couldn't remember my password so I stopped coming. Never really posted anyway. Just browsed.
Nice to have another Zelda forum to go to other than Zelda Universe though. I can't really post my stuff on that one.

I had no idea you were around for so long. If you find your old account I can merge it with your current one. :)

And I am happy we can provide an alternative to the two forum giants where people can share their fan creations and nurture the care for the series among the same fans.

It is true though that there'd be an alternate reality everytime you played the Song Of Time - but only the poor NPCs would be left to live in it.

    The Player to the NPC:

I didn't agree with this [Link being Dead in Majora's Mask] theory at all because it would mean that Link couldn't have become old enough to get married, or have a child who would later spawn the Link we know in Twlight Princess.

I think there is still debate regarding TP Link being a proper blood descendant as many think the Hero's Shade was talking as successor more in the terms of taking his role to fight for Hyrule against evil.

I had always theorized that the single red eye in his skull was some kind of a moon pearl as seen in A Link To the Past, which allowed him to transform into a golden wolf at will, although I know- that's a pretty far stretch.

That sounds like a pretty interesting explanation.

I think that the best theory I've looked at has to do with the Twili, Majora, and the Fused Shadow connections. The only hard part is figuring out how people from Termina could be connected to an entire race that was banished long ago since not too many people in either realm seem aware of another's existence. But it is possible, and I would say that the Fused Shadows most definitely have something to do with the original Sheikah, and the Shadow Temple in particular. For a children's game, it got quite deep and dark at times.

It is quite interesting, especially with the comparisons between the design of Majora's Mask y TP's fused Shadows.

Lately, I've been using skype mostly with the web/browser version on my desktop.
That aside still on discord and whatsapp.
I uninstalled Trillian. It was getting too buggy.

EDIT: Checked it out. Turns out I actually tried it months ago.

It's okay. The interface is a little weird, and sometimes the audio would stop working for no discernible reason. But with a little work it could be perfectly serviceable.

We ought to get you into our discord group sometime. :P

Hello there! How is it going?
