So, I am curious, what are @Edward_Stryfe and @LinkSkywalker score as of now?
I think LS is five, but to be honest it's been kind of long and even re-reading the thread I might be missing things. -
I just wonder guys if you have ever Rage quit a game and how prone you are to do that.
I also would love if you guys shared your stories on how that came to be.I have the feeling some PS or PS2 game made me get really frustrated and quit before but I cannot remember anything beyond that. I didn't throw my controller to the Tv so I guess that's good news.
Recently I was very hooked with Bravely Default, but I skipped by accident two job asterisks, they were optional but I was looking forward to getting them so realising they were not longer available in the chapter bugged me to the point of starting over in a new file. I also have been grinding a lot compared to my last file. I was just barely in the second chapter when I had already reached the level I had before, 50. Right now I am nearing 60 and I haven't got the second bragging-McNugget out of the four. In my past file, I had just gotten the third one. I feel I will only feel better once I reach to where I was in my first file without missing the optional jobs.
Would you consider this some sort of rage-quit? I don't exactly regret my decision, but I can feel the anxiety for not being yet where I was. It is one of the weirdest feelings I've ever had over a game.

This reminded me of the Cover of Come on Eileen, by Save Ferris, that someone showed me a few days ago.
So I searched it and now I am listening to it:
I still prefer the original version. -
Sound slike at least it gave you an excuse to use your SNES and try the power cable.
Also, nice page for your collection you have built. Very neat. I like you can rate it..It is nowhere complete but, I am trying to add the games in the backloggery website as I play or buy them.

Sounds pretty cool.
I probably haven't played the game enough times as it is, so with the Japanese text and not a firm grasp of Hyrule's terrain, I am afraid I am not ready to try this.
That said, knowing that something like this exists and is so well done, definitely belongs here and I hope other members find it useful. -
When there were less than 10 episodes released I was suggested to keep out. With the quality being mocked and all the memes that became popular, I thought I'd keep it that way. But lately a few of my mates started talking about a 'Black Goku' so iI decided that I'd give the show a shot and see how I feel about it. I am roughly halfway. So, has anyone else here given it a go?
Are you liking it overall? Are there things you don't like about it? Will Vegeta's humiliation ever end? Before I give my points of view,I am kind of hoping someone else will have opinions of their own to share.

A while ago we got cinderella. This year we got the Jungle book and Tarzan.
I believe more movies are on their way.(Edit: I originally started this thread believing all those movies were made by a Disney Studio. my bad. I don't think The Legend of Tarzan was made by Disney. I edited the title accordingly)
How do you feel about them?
So far, have you watched any of them? Did you like them?
Do you think it is fair to compare them? You know, now that I think about it, it is not that new. I remember there was a '101 dalmatians' live action movie as well. I still feel like this last few years have been about rewriting tales we remember from our childhood or bringing a different angle to them.

I am making this thread mostly with tangible, materialistic type of presents in mind.
I don't mind if you mention more than one, I am just curious what kind of presents have marked you and if there is a nice story behind them.
People seem to find it easy to get gifts spot on for me but I always find hard to get gifts with confidence for other people, it is usually when I realise just how little observant I am. Anyway, what have you guys received that rocked?
-
Very nice. It really fits the BoTW quite nicely, haha.
I really like that you got from the reveal trailer. -
I just dream of work.
I cry a lot now days.
Do you dream of being Nathan Drake and being sent to the floor to fill up the shelf on aisle 8?

Today was the first time I have seen/talked with my dad in months. I hoped we could work things out. Here is what happened.
He said everything was my fault and he had no wrong, even after I apologized. He said he did the right thing when he assaulted me. He said that even if the talk went well I still would not be allowed back at his house for a while. If only he apologized to me, then everything would be fine. But no. Not the case. He's doing the same thing to me that he did to my mom 8 years ago. Thinking he was always right and bashing on the other person. And since he still thinks he was right and he didn't apologize. I'm done. That's the last time I'm putting up with him
He's going to regret it, but it's really hard for me to give a shit at this point.
Sorry to hear your dad is being so stubborn. I think it can't be helped, it has to be atwo-sidedd effort to mend the bond, otherwise it is just wasted effort. I understand completely you rather not to bother unless you actually see some sign of remorse or at least cares.
Oh hey Link could you stop smiling in my post please it's kind of out of place.
A while ago I had tried to add numeric ways to call each, now after some testing I've realised the software automatically discards spaces added after the smilie. I am taking out every number related invocation and shortening the number of ways to get each smile. Hopefully that will fix once for all this Link-popping-out-uncalled situation.

Speaking of Agricultural revolution I wonder how come we decided that plucking rice was a good idea. How come they decided to cook it?Even if they were passing everything through fire and sound out, the idea of manually doing that sounds like counter intuitive specially with bigger fruit bearing plants and trees an other seeds already ready to consumption.
For old humans, don't think they had a boring life, even if with our hindsight can think it could be. I guess the closest we can have is what we know from other tribes that are alive today. I like to imagine that singing, telling stories was part of their lives. It really is interesting to think about the changes. I guess it happened little by little and took several generations. Maybe a family found a good area to stay and stopped walking around, then they found that certain seeds from an old fruit made a tree grow. perhaps other families started going through the same things until the knowledge became a common thing. I am specially interested in the shift from communal into private property.

Heck yeeees! They don't happen that often to me but I remember back when playing :OoT: I had some pretty cool, weird ones.
I'd love to hear everyone's gaming dreams. :^o^:My favourite one, perhaps I already shared it here. It was during my first play through of :OoT:. I was trying to help the lady get all her cuccos inside the pen, but there was one cucco across a tall fence I couldn't get to. That night I dreamt I was in Kakariko Village and I spotted Link, I followed him, I saw him get the the darn bird and jump from the corner of the platform with entrance to the mill into the other side of the fence. I woke up with the conviction that was the answer. I hooked the game and tried it out. I didn't work exactly as in the dream, but letting go the cucco at the right time I let me cling to the top of the fence. At the time it had been an incredible vision, now I just find it funny my brain worked extra time trying to crack the puzzle.
This weird thing happened again many years after with no other than :OoT:: Master Quest, hahah.
This time it was a missing key in the Shadow temple. I had searched every room. I dreamt of adult Link breaking a certain Giant pot from one of the annoying rooms and the Key was in there. Woke up and tried it out. the jar was empty. My heart sank, I still gave a quick look before leaving the room. the darn key was there on the floor, hidden in a cleverly put shadow.
I still find it cool it actually was in that same room. -
Month old news, but since no one had commented it and we're a Zelda community. I thought it wouldn't hur to share this:
As far as I know, the game has been out since mid July.
What do you make of this? -
Obviously I'm a little behind here... why are we assuming his aging process is slowed?
At some point during the E3's demo it was mentioned that Link had been 'asleep' for 100 years before waking up in the resurrection chamber.
He wakes up in undies on the chamber and he finds those worn out clothes. So to connect the rest this all just assumptions: Assuming those clothes belonged to him and that they are meant to be worn by a smaller person. Assuming those two things, it makes sense to think that he grew-up while in that chamber.

Who made Ingress,
Niantic, the same ones that the Pokemon Company worked with for Pokemon Go.
I have no clue how much of a big shots they were but definitely their assets from their past game Ingress were used to help shape Pokemon Go, as far as I understand from what I have read around. -
Not sure if making this thread in theories or if leaving this as a mere observation.
At the start of :TLoZ:: Breath of The Wild, Link find old clothes in a chest. The clothes not only look worn out but also look like they are a size smaller for Link, specially Link's pants.
This is something that had crossed my mind briefly but I didn't give it much thought until I found the following image in Azabet's tumblr.
Azabet's idea makes sense.
Could it be that Link's original age before using the Revival chamber was of a younger self?
The idea of reanimating a body that has been slowed down like in different sci-fi stories doesn't seem that far-fetched for the game. The problem for me was in the name. The idea of Link needing a revival chamber implies that Link died, but it doesn't really make sense that Link is revived with some years on him.
Before finding this post I was even throwing the whole essence of the Hero in the mix to try to imagine what this could mean. As in the change in age could be because he was now hosting the Spirit of the Hero.
Anyway, what do you think?

We will see more AR games. I imagine we'll see the shitty ones in 1-3 months, and good ones in 1-2 years.
I am crossing my fingers for the arrival of the good ones. Hopefully the bad ones won't kill the market by the time the good ones come rolling out. -
Nah, that's alright. Some games do take a lot for us to start or finish.
That's pretty cool you committed to it and finished it on the laptop.
I don't know what we're supposed to do, I guess we just got used to writing both things the way we do.
