That's a pretty cool project. I always enjoy people sharing music they like. It is a great way to find new bands and reconnect with some older underrated bands out there that you listened but never retained the name.I fully support your project. I have 'subscribed' and I will be listening to what you have already shared, little by little.

Very nice photographs. I used to take pictures and post them in flickr long time ago. I like that you go for different angles. Looking good.
I hope you share some more.I have a bayou in my neighborhood so I may borrow my uncle's kayak and go to see if I can get any good wildlife ones. I went with him the other day and we saw some alligators up nice and close and plenty of turtles and some snakes, n' cranes and so on. Plenty there to photograph.
That sounds pretty exciting. Feel free to share them if you do this. :D -
found this place after going on a forum hunt for Zelda communities after zelda legends got shutdown (at least that's what I think) I can only access it through wayback machine. I booked marked this site along with some others.
Hey man, nice to meet you.
I don't remember much from ZL, but I believe that's where the then named Enchanted Toaster shared most of the the smilies we're currently using. I thought their forum had been down for ages. Anyway, it is great you found us! -
Hi Joe. Pleased to meet you!
It is great to have you around. Hopefully you might show us some of your creations later on. :^o^:

I do have a lot in my mind regarding this but then I realise that it is mostly assumptions.
Since I don't even know for sure what the Wii U is or is not, I can't really assess the implication of the dual release. It could still be the case the NX is not even a stand alone console and they used that wording as to not give away anything before time. For all we know. Or it could be the rumours are right.
Now for the discontent of many, i have a theory: What it sounds like at this point is that throwing it on the Wii U feels like an afterthought, like they have because they said they would. Two years ago some people bought the Wii U and a big part that persuaded them in favour was the upcoming Zelda U game. Regardless that the Wii U has offered other great titles meanwhile the main interest of many was this game and the promise it was coming. It is not secret that the Wii U and people defending it received a lot of negativity. Heck, the media kept burying the Wii U all during its lifespan and in a childish, selfish way this was the title that would shut them up. The bragging right if you will. Nintendo deciding to pass it to start the NX marks Nintendo giving reason to the idea of a failed console and give the fans a dilemma as even though the game is coming out to the Wii U, it is coming the day the console becomes 'past generation'. This felt for some people slightly insulting when they put that huge amount of faith in them. It is a dent in their trust with the company.
I guess it is easy to get contrived in a victimisation frame, but the reality is that Nintendo didn't plan things to go like this from begining. They expected the Wii U to sell way better than it did and they gave the first tentative date expecting it to be close to the actual release date. things happens. As the Wii U sales were doing poorly more and more weight fell on Zelda U to be a good game, specially when the latest announcements,, including the Triforce Heroes, got mixed results and average sales. It is no wonder they decided to delay the game and make sure to add what they could to make it work to the best the console could allow. This bring us to this moment, almost four years since its release. Console generations usually last 5 years so now the NX is in its way. Nintendo got already most of the big guns out and most of the people who was going to buy a wii U already did so. They accepted this and are trying to learn from their mistakes and get the next console well prepared before launch. They are making sure not to reveal anything until after E3. They are making sure to hold their big card and they are trying to prepare a library of enticing games before releasing it.
As a fan of Zelda, it makes me sad Zelda U won't be released this year, specially with the 30th landmark but I am more interested in Nintendo succeeding in their next generation and for that they need to really focus and do things right. they need to really understand what went wrong and why. I support they delay the game even if it is just withholding a finish product simply because by today's reality if they released the Wii U version first it no longer would be a card for NX. Within one week the internet would burn the game to the ground. Let's play with teh full game, guides, theories, explanations. It'd be an old thing long before the NX launches.

I guess taht is pretty much what there is to it. If it is not jam, you can't really force it. Like I said, for me it is mostly being able to interact with people I don't usually do and having unexpecting answers around. If it wasn't for that I'd probably be bored by now, but the fact that the interaction is genuine has given place for some interesting mini-discussions.
I also still keep the hope that we can get Zelda based costumes we can acquire for our Miis at some point, especially with the upcoming Zelda game reveals in june and this being the 30th anniversary. :lengua:The most surprising thing for me is that there are no word censors and you're able to use any picture from your device and share any Miifoto into twitter and facebook, hahah.
Here's the obligatory Brentalfloss' lyrics rendition:

I tried it out today, actually. Because I read a Kotaku review being ridiculous saying you needed to it your leg in certain position and what not. I admit I died a few times, but I felt improvement in my skills once I got the hang of it. I don't have barrel roll embed in my head, but I noticed some choices to make your range.
I think most of the issue with the controllers is that it is easy to try to do both, aim and steer the vehicle, with the left stick. If you aim just moving the gamepad and just flick the left stick to correct trajectory, I found it works really well. I also like the two screen thing. When it locks in a target you can see easily where you are in relation to it and use the cockpit view to properly aim and stuff.
I have only played the first three levels, and I have had to try a different craft for each, but they do give you time to try to get the hang of it.

Hahahah. It was pretty good alluding both series. I cracked up a few times with some swings I wasn't expecting. Very good delivery for most of the parts.

Well, I have seen a forum game to the end before, but it looks like neither of you are counting that one since you both participated in the breakfast game, and Kaynil would be out of the game if you guys were counting it.
It would have been like an aouto goal for SL, since it turned out we all have seen that other game till the end.
Never have I ever had a cup of coffee.
Best of luck for the remaining combatants.
What gives, LS? Did you ever tried coffee and decided you didn't like it? -
Never have I ever touched a big cat (lion, tiger etc)
Me neither. Yay!Never have I ever gotten a tattoo
This is getting harder.@Edward_Stryfe and @LinkSkywalker need to get their counting updated.
It's so hard not to cheat in this game.
"cheat codes"
Never have I ever been Kaynil.
Never have I ever been to Mexico.
Never have I ever been to Australia.
Never have I ever been a woman.
Never have I ever founded a Zelda forum.
Never have I ever been harassed with forum game cheat codes.
Never have I ever been down to one point on never have I ever. The more you know...

I remember these guys. They made that Mario/Portal crossover game, Mari0. Their version of Tetris seems interesting too I guess.
I was actually thinking in making a thread for that game. It is probably the best known one. It is so simple the idea but so effective for the game. It is impressive that they needed to work from the ground in order to be able to add the portal stuff.

I wonder if Nintendo would file a lawsuit if these people hosted their site with a hosting company located in a company that disregards copyright complaints, such as Russia or the Netherlands...
To my understanding, it would just mean that Nintendo wouldn't hope to get the web suspended by contacting the host, but they would still be able to intimidate the programmers directly with their cease and desist. The host probably would be scott free. Well, that is just my guess.

Hahah, no way. I don't mind people trying to creatively spice up their consoles and make cool looking designs, but I wouldn't spend such an amount just for decoration. I would be using the console rather than storing it. It sounds way too much especially when it is stil aluminium.
I can see the appeal on the HDMI cable but using new TV sets means no Duck Hunt.

Has anyone downloaded this application? Is anyone interested on it?I must admit that I am really enjoying my time with it. If you have a few people you enjoy chatting with, this app makes things quite interesting. Even just like an image editor to add your Mii works very nicely, hahah.
The game will have Miis asking you questions and you can comment on people's answers. it then can become a thread. You get some clever comments and unexpected reactions. You use the app and get in-game coins you can use to purchase-in-game clothes.
The game is limiting in how to add people. You can do it face to face, through facebook or twitter.

I didn't even considered the web archive would store this type of pages.
This will help me and others who might have not tried it yet. -
Not sure how old or new it is but I stumbled here today and I thought it'd be nice to share. It has all the looks of Tetris but it doesn't have the 90º turn grid restriction. This doesn't mean that clearing a line is out. You can certainly still do that.
You can download it in your computer in their website: StabYourself
They have other funny nostalgia games with a spin that are definitely worth a look.

My first handheld was probably one of those dollar ones ( BRICK GAME 9999 in 1) that was monochromatic and boasted many games in one (although there were just a few with slight alterations or difficult level), from which I recall Tetris and racing better. I probably was around 7 years old or younger.
I owned several during the nineties, they were pretty entertaining.

By the time I was free to play it the inevitable had happened.
QuoteSORRY, FOLKS.
Nintendo asked us to remove this site for copyright infringement. I guess Zelda30Tribute was a little too pixel perfect
We're sad about that, but we get it. We started this project because we love Nintendo and the joy they have given us throughout the years. From the start of development, we knew this result could potentially happen. Nintendo has every right to protect their IP. No complaints from us, we had a blast working on this tribute and made some friends along the way.
Big thanks to the half million folks who played our game! We learned a bunch and wrote some code that others might learn from, too. We plan to post the project to Github soon, once we've had a chance to remove Nintendo-owned assets.
We both have future software projects in the works. If you would like to keep in touch, please follow us on social media or join our mailing list. We'll let you know!
This was not the greatest game in the world, no. This was just a tribute. Thank you Nintendo for the inspiration!
- Scott and Mike
I am happy they did it though, while it wasn't complete what they managed was very nicely done, based on what I was able to see.
So, did any of you guys actually managed to play it?
