My sister got it for me as a gift a couple months ago. It's quite good! I had never played Link's Awakening before, so it was all new to me. Enjoyed it thoroughly, though I confess that once I completed the main quest I pretty much lost all interest. I'd like to collect the rest of the shells and heart containers, but I am pretty satisfied with how my initial run-through went.

Maybe in a few years I'll get the itch to revisit it, and do a more thorough play through. One without so many deaths.

Back in the day I enjoyed the Gameboy one a lot.

That got me thinking, I wonder how would the original be for people that first enjoyed the remake. Would it still be enjoyable for them? :/
There'll be some things they'd probably miss, like only having two buttons for all their inventory without a set button for sword and shield, haha.

Whether is inflated or you are feeling so insecure, you can't accept people disagreeing without seeing it as a personal attack.

I don't know, but I feel that for a lot of media it is encouraged you have strong feelings. Like, if you don't adore this anime it MUST mean you hate it. It can't just be "okay".

Fruit Baskets (older version) had been on my list for so long. I heard the newer one is more faithful to the original so I am now more inclined to try that version first.

So I don't know about the episodes, but maybe the impact in those episodes work because they only make the 20% of the series and the rest is to zone you out of that mood. That being said, sounds like they coukd do with more interesting stories or varied themes tying the episodes together.

To be honest, I've avoided it because typically the same people that swore I'd love Ouran High School said this was a must too, so I was kind of wary it wasn't going to be up my alley.

Nintendo resisted for quite a bit with Majora's Mask, but I guess that is because it was not as favored by people ehen it came for the N64. Besides the HD, there are so many spin offs and collabs nowadays with The Legend of Zelda. I have yet to play Tingle's ones. And... For me it was one of the 90's anime. I believe it was Ranma 1/2. Hahaha.

Back then I didn't know much if anime and manga, but walking home from school I recognized the characters in a magazine shop so I kept buying them from time to time.
