  • Disappointing endings

    Well, you can go as in depth as you want without the spoiler tag considering that by the thread nature we all know endings is what will be discussed.

    so, I think we all have been close to this. Having a good series, a good book, that ends up being underwhelming for its finale, sometimes coming with Deux ex-Machina solutions; other times they actually warp things in a credible way but you still feel cheated, the characters didn't get the ending you thought they deserved, the book ended in a weird point. There is just something there that makes it so disappointing.

  • Water Levels

    Atlantica... Yeah, that one was a bit annoying too.Kind of empty and having to wait for the ride. If you screw in your reflex when being carried by the strong water current you would find yourself grated by the level at some point.

    This thread just make me think of AVGN, it would be just as easy to link to his videos and call it a day but I think it is more inetyresting we discuss what games we didn't like and why. What is bad with em is that Atari and NES games blend a bit together and even putting aside what i said about me liking even bad games, there are many I tried and forgot about them by now.

    In general sport ones, specially baseball, and movie adaptations tended to be bad games.

    Hey Clara, I am curious. could you go into more detail how Naruto does thing better? Feel free to use episode events as examples. I'd love to read more details, specially as TIO holds that FT gets better if you wait enough. I'd like to know how even with that it is still not as good as Bleach and the like.

    TIO: Tell me more about why you think this one is really good.

    I haven't really watched eitehr so I want to see your opinions in a bit more in depth. I want to catch up with detective Conan.

  • General Pokéchat

    I haven't really tried to catch up with PKM, but I think I know what I'd get into, if you don't think it too hard and go with it, I suppose, it can be an easy way to pass time. For me season one is what takes the cake with the some interesting stories but I always enjoyed PKM if only for the anticipation of seeing the gym leaders animated and with a personality through the episodes.

    I am having such a hard time to recall, I've been trying for a while and the explanation I came up with is tahta s a kid I loved everything. It was new and I was not an expert in games quality. Many bad games probably amused me back in the day.

  • Water Levels

    I dislike the MM water temple way more than OoT's water temple. I can't recall how TP water level was, a bit annoying but not that memorable.

    I asked urban dictionary, it said it meant Computer Role Playing Game. I suppose it makes sense with the context of videogames not being able to get right random encounters of table RPGs with human referees. In any case @LinkSkywalker can confirm.

  • Favourite childhood movies

    I used to watch Disney Movies so often specially Aladdin, Hercules (songs are catchy).
    For movies Mrs Doubtfire, Jurassic Park, Ace Ventura.

    I'd argue that one is not unpopular opinion. At least that is the impression I have, that many favour the second one.

    I have never tried any Wario Land game. I should check that one out. Topping SMB3 and DKC 2 are serious accusations.

    I haven't tried much of Skyrim but the character created felt downfgraded to me. Not that is something big. Still a lot of people raved about it. It is just ridiculously big (and glitchy) it seems.

  • Masterpieces of Anime

    I have the slight feeling TIO might like Fairy tale... :lol:

    I agree it is subjective but those out of the ordinary you feel have contributed to raise the bar I think are worth mentioning.
    Also, don't get so catch up on series, there are also one shot movies and stuff that can be discussed here, like some of Hayao Miyazaki's works.
