I don't, BUT i would like to have one, right now I guess keep waiting for the next gen is the most comfortable option for me, because the money I receive is only for one game each 2-3 months, meanwhile I got the money for the new console I lose a lot of good games.

Do you have the old 3DS? Maybe trading it when buying the new one could make it cheaper and more affordable. The downside is losing what you bought before the NNID link into the eShop.

    So much freedom................................................................................................................................................or is it?.................................................

Well, its good to have freedom and choose the life you want to have but don't take the decition in that time.

It is an interesting point. Following this video was a response by a guy named "Joshua", Mikki, the guy on this video tried to contact him to have a friendly conversation but they were intercepted to settle things through a TV show. They agreed to go. Unfortunately things were overwhelmingly one sided. I don't know much of either of them out of the two videos. While I don't agree with many things the Joshua says in the original video and in the show itself, I think he raised some valid points of concern that were drown into the "Booo, it's just a doll" even though he repeat at least twice his issue wasn't so much with the doll itself but the mentality of just passively give the control to the child to make decisions.

No extreme is good. Having an helicopter parenting not letting you do things you want to try because of the off chance you you might scrape your knee is hindering for the child development. But so it is never stepping in to set parameters of what is and isn't allowed. It is great there is a talk of acceptance and let the kids express themselves, however, where do you draw the line? Because kids won't just do good things, they will also be in contact with bad influences, with bad ideas and you need to be there to explain to them things. You have to be alert for the negative, poisoning concepts and coping mechanisms like bullying and discrimination.

Toys are toys... But what if the kid wants to get something inappropriate for their age? Parents buying for example M rated games for the kids.

I don't mind boys playing with girls toys. I grew up doing that. I don't really like the segmentation on toys based on your genitalia. Like I said in another community. if I had kids I'd love to bake muffins with them and then go out and play soccer together. Having fun, learning positive skills and trying to be the parent when I need to step in.

Hahaha. So you got the best of both worlds. Batteries and back light.

I skipped the GBA entirely, but out of the two Advance felt way more comfortable in my hands. It w as so simple but it worked really nicely.

It is in my absolute Playing bucket List. This game is legendary. I've mostly hear praise towards it and its characters.
I remember in the past I managed to start it but I was too inexpert to really understand it and progress much with it.
I think @Sardonic Pickle, is or at least was planning to play the DS version.

Yes I own a New 3DS. I really like the improvements. Before trying it I thought it wasn't a big deal but considering I am one of thsoe few exceptions taht actually use 3D and uses the browser often. This was pretty cool.
Watching YT videos in 3D is also pretty exciting!

I think he's serious. Unless you mean that his age shouldn't be an impediment.

Oh, yeah. This reminds me. I saw this video on another forum and reminded me of this thread:

How Would You Feel If Your Son Chose This?

    Good parenting?

There are no judgements in the dark. Normal people are asleep, and those who aren't keep quiet. There's no chores to do or errands to take care of--you can't do those things at night. You don't have to feel bad about wasting time, because after you sleep you'll wake up and begin a new day.

Staying up late is alluring because of that, I think.

I think you're correct. I can relate with most of what you said. I find it hard to be quiet so it is actually not always relaxing, but I definitely don't have the "I could be doing something better" pressure on me, unless I am supposed to wake up early and I am staying past midnight. I feel I can focus better and it seems that writing down flows easier as well.

Technically an owl is a night bird. Owls are also hunting very late at night... or very early in the morning... Therefore technically they are early birds too. Thread closed.

    You party pooper.
Still, I think the differentiation is that owl will go to sleep as the morning comes in while other birds will start their activity quite early. So, nel. They're not early morning birds any more than I could be for the two hours of daylight I receive before I go throw myself on the bed around seven am.

I would choose Early Bird. I sleep at 9:30 and awake at 6:00, and bathe so I don't feel tired at all! :^_~: 8 and a half hour, I sleep. I don't be awake at night at all!
Day is to be active and work. The night is to relax, because at the night, the world is at peace. Your body clock will also convince you to sleep!

That is cool you have it all under control, although not everybody's inner clock works the same, which is good. Otherwise how could we have so many good workers taking night shifts and keeping stores functioning for our late needs?

That said, I find cool how the day seems to last so much longer if you're a late night person and once in awhile you have to get up pretty early. You do a bunch of things and then you realise it is not even 9:30 am yet. That's a pretty cool feeling!

I'm mostly a night owl because of my stupid sleep schedule that I can't seem to be able to fix. Very rarely I'm an early bird (if by some miracle, I manage to fall asleep in the evening).

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your sleeping schedule. That really eats away all your energy. It is really hard to focus when your body is out of synchrony.

Well, I am not into social media websites at all.
So, I never really thought I need one.
I hope I am not making a fool of myself here....by saying this -.-"

Oh no, you're not. I think it makes perfect sense. :)
Why would you get involved with something that doesn't attract you.
Trying to take advantage of it to promote your community is a different matter, so what you're saying is understandable.

Glad you finally shared with us your AMVs!
Feel free to create your own thread in the showcase or use the other Video thread.
That one was pretty fitting. I know I watched some of it and I have read the first volume of the manga. I definitely want to give ita full watch. My friends really recommended me this one back in the day. One of them even cosplayed as Him at some point.

Alright. the next AMV I want to share is old.

It is actually a shame that it is blocked iN Australia, but i think you should still see it.
    If not, my apologies.

My favorite was Ken Masters but I was most efficient with Balrog AKA Vega

Hahaha, dang those name changes. A whole triangle of name swapping out of Japan. Still I think Vega is more appropriate given his Spanish aspect.
That said, the first games with his music were fast paced. I really like his theme in SFII.

Yeah, it did. I find remakes of any game to be better than the original, to be honest. I mean, isn't that the point of a remake? To make the game better than the original? xp

Well, yeah, in part. the idea is to bring it to newer generations and correct some things taht were limited back in the day. This doesn't mean they always achieve it.

So, would you say that this is your least favorite Yoshi game?

That would be unfair as I have never really seriously tried to sit through any, but if I had to choose.
Baby crying one is annoying even id a backseat player so probably taht one would be the one I feel the least enthusiastic about playing.

I just thought I'd ask, instead of just assuming everybody feels the same way I do.

Although it is overall looking good, the truth is that Nintendo hasn't really shown much and a lot of time has passed since they first announced they were working on it. I can understand some enthusiasm can go down over time. I also have heard people afraid the project will simply be carried over to whatever the next generation is going to be.

With what we know, how do you feel about the game so far?
Has thinsg changed and now you are more or less excited than before? If so, what changed your mind?

Crap. That reminds me I haven't done anything for the twitter account of ZC. I gotta fix that.

    No and yes.
I don't have my own twitter account personally but I have a twitter account named after my forum.
I really should update it from time to time but I don't really have that sort of free time these days :(
    @animangaforum is the twitter account.

Is there a reason in particular you don't have a personal account? Just curious.
