In another forums someone told me Nintendo intended to apply Region lock to Online Multiplayer. That is a bummer.
And if this lock includes not being able to play with my online friends then I have little point in buying it.
Furthermore, since for multiplayer , even local you need two people it just makes it unnecessarily hard for me. I mean I could get it and have @Sardonic Pickle but I don't have another readily friend to play it. At least is great that with one copy the three can play locally.

But yeah, this limits are dragging me down somewhat.

Hmm... I was wondering. Do youa have Link where we can find the maker,
    or is it a paint.exe job? :P

offtopic but we actually started playing yugioh at the uni. I feel like a little kid again. it's hilarious because we barely have any idea of what we are doing and will probably drop it in a few months like we do with everything.

OFFTOPIC: I actually found my deck a few weeks ago. It is still collecting dust though. Hahah.

This thread is to explain some common abbreviations we use to Zelda Titles. I hope this can help make things more fluid when writing and reading our different boards. I'll keep compiling and updating this thread as new games and information keeps popping up.

The abbreviations we got so far are the following:

    • LOZ or TLOZ = The Legend of Zelda

    • AoL = Adventure of Link

    • aLttP = LTTP = A Link to the Past

    • LA = Link's Awakening

    • OoT = Ocarina of Time

    • MM = Majora's Mask

    • OoA = Oracle of Ages

    • OoS = Oracle of Seasons

    • OoX = Oracle of Ages/Seasons

    • tWW or WW = The Wind Waker

    • TP = Twilight Princess

    • FS = Four Swords

    • FSA = Four Swords Adventures

    • PH = Phantom Hourglass

    • ST = Spirit Tracks

    • SS = Skyward Sword

    • ALbW = A Link between Worlds

    • TFH = Tri Force Heroes

    • BotW = Breath of the Wild

    • TotK = Tears of the Kingdom

Update: This is not working at the moment, will try to come with a fix. Also, to make things easier, you can use these game abbreviations between two ":" (just like our emojis) and voila, the forum will swap that for the full name of the game. The forum won't even care about using caps.

    So for example typing:

My favorite game is hands down :TLOZ:: :OoT:. I just love this game to pieces.
I know some people like :MM: better, but there's just something in Ocarina I can't resist.

    Will produce:

My favorite game is hands down :TLOZ:: :OoT:. I just love this game to pieces.
I know some people like :MM: better, but there's just something in Ocarina I can't resist.

I hope you like this. If you have more suggestions, make sure to create a topic in feedback to let us know!

Not really. It is the cheapest of the three and while it has some specs falling behind, I think overall the price is not a steep increase from the past generation.
I agree with @The Inhaling One that they still have some work to do with the Network aspect. Games like Mario maker makes a pain something that should be easy by returning to the tiring manually entering codes to find stages. Not automatically having you follow or find your friends by ID.

Wii U lacks in third parties support so I get that it feels bare in comparison to other consoles getting games shared.

Okay. Getting a better scope of the situation through Squid Boards where it seem the whole thing originated with an user reporting it. It seems like it is just one person (or at most a very few of them) doing this. So it is not very likely to encounter this.

Secondly, I was wrong in my first post, you totally can see the octoling.

Go to 5:22 for the good stuff.
I am the only one who can do this right now, until Nintendo implements it properly for everybody.
No hacks means no hacks, it works on any console that you're able to copy it to, and it will work /without modification/. The game has no way to set it yet, so I do it manually. I swear, sometimes you people will argue over anything.

Didn't get proper footage from last time, so here's a whole bunch of stuff. They seem to have not finished separating everything out yet, since it glitches with the eyes still. Everything else works great, though

Nikki's a modder and apparently the person that came with the change of value to get the octoling skin, but she only plays private matches with consent of people. She doesn't condone the hack ruining online matches and was of the first to warn through twitter when the thread warning of the attack came around.

Third at this point one innocent person got banned from Miiverse when it was targeted and fitted the name profile (Starts with K and has a bunch of numbers). At this point the thread on the boards are even turning against the OP with suspicion. Since everything seems to have come from this thread, there is the possibility that if this first victim actually made the whole thing up. It has just been hysteria that spread like wild fire and went too far. For what it's worth, OP still holds it happened and did not take a picture because it wasn't counting with the game freezing in the plaza.

Wii U lets you use Wii controllers and Wii games so once I got it I had no reason to keep the Wii running.

At its time I enjoyed the Wii and the motion controllers and with the Wii U it just feels like s polish to give a more rounder set of options and absorb the global online ID method.
