I like board games but most people around me don't like them or stick to monopoly.

I like Uno. I used to play that and Loteria with my family. Loteria is very similar to Bingo but instead of numbers the slots have pictures. Chess, Dominoes...

the monthly game reunion soudns pretty cool.

I was just recently introduced to CAH by the guys from Press X, a couple from another gaming Youtube channel that live in the same city as us. We're quickly bonding and they really like this game.

Odd. I thought I answer this thread but I guess it was the one where I ate the allocated bits for my trip's train wifi.
Anyway it is an interesting read. She sounds down to earth.

To a minor scale this thread kind of remidned me of the resistance my parents had to the Long Distance Relationship and our marriage decision. I guess it is difficult to know when your kids are ready as it is all a blurry process, it is not like an age magivally changes you into a amture human being.

I think it is great that her parents actually did put some effort too and that is key. If someone is not wanting to, hen as much as you rather having that person part of your life it just becoems a wasted effort as they will be toxic and drag you down.

Hahah. It really depend on his incarnation. I think old school Link had brown hair and it was only starting a Link to the Past he became blonde... I wonder if the change was related to gaining popularity outside of japan. Ocariona of Time was the first Zelda game where Link had a real update in his look.

Would be devil's advocate if I said Clash of Clans...?

Maybe. I dunno. Why do you like that one?

    The ones I've got are:

    Bean's Quest
This is a sidescroller platformer with a jumping bean as a protagonist. That is exactly the twist, as a jumping bean it is never still, always jumping so you have to time the movement to hop on the right platform. I haven't finished the game but it is entertaining.

    Subway Surf
The game itself is free and even though it tries to lure you into spending money you don't need to in order to enjoy it. I actually was obsessed and tried to play it everyday because it knows how to get your hoard and competitive side. Your character is running so you can change lanes and jump as needed. There are a few "power ups" you can use. You also collect coins as you go and the game will show you the high scores of other people and how many points you're away to beat them as you go.
Everyday there is a challenge in addition to "missions". As you pass missions and level up, you get to run with more speed which makes easier to catch up with some high scores. After your 30th mission you can keep doing more missions but will not longer receive a speed boost. Which is fair. Each month they change the scenery and offer a region character and a board. You collect tokens each week for different prizes. It is simple and you can easily get hooked.

    Pinchi Bird
This is a Flappy bird mockery. It was made by Darkar and the characters in the game are related to his universe. I've been following his flash shorts of vetealaversh for some years now so I decided to check out the game after someone from the Spanish side of the forums told me you could also choose "Gavi", the fairy of his TLoZ parody, instead of the blue twitter bird. You can play in English but the real joy is hearing in Spanish the things they say to you. It gets old fast but it is still a quick cheer-me-up with their sass.

I also play Solitaire by Mobilityware. It offers dialy challenges and it is overall the best simulated solitaire I've ever owned.

This includes Soul Edge/Blade PS1 game.

I bought SCV a while ago but only recently felt the itch to play it. Sadly, what moved me was the idea of trying to recreate the characters I had made at some point for SCIII. I failed but it brought me back memories.

I met the SC franchise with their second game, taking the gamecube version because it included Link. the storyline was quite interesting for me and I really wanted to know what would be the fate of some of the characters. The girls are also an absolute eye candy.

    Wiiiiiiiiiiind~

I can never let go of Link's Piggy Ride. <3

Abnyway, are you familiar with the freanchise?
Who were your favourite characters and the ones you dislike the most? :D

I feel more active here that I was in Mexico. My job also makes me walk some.

Not a fan of working out at the gym if I am honest. I would much rather buy equipment myself and do it at home

I am the same way, but since I share the house with some housemates I am kind of embarrassed to do any exercise at home at the time. :XD:

My username is a name I was given when I was at school. All my friends thought I was cute and I am also short so they gave me the nickname Shortie. It did stop being used after I finished high school until I started posting on forums and gaming which was when I started using it again :) the 86 is my date of birth and the 1 is a random one because I can be a random person :^o^:

That's actually pretty interesting. I had no idea your nickname said so much about you! :^o^:

In highschool one of my friends spread the nickname Roxus. It had to do with my real names combined. My friedns each wrote it their own way. When I joined my very first forums, HCA, I joined as Kaynil Roczuz. Then I kind used Roczuz for Spanish forums and Kaynil for English ones and finally I dropped my high school nick until I needed some sort of name place holder for a proboards I made as a refugee.

Spam to me is when someone comes on and tends to continuously post just pointless posts such as "good post" or "awesome" just to increase their post count on a forum. I also find that people who come on and post threads linking to numerous different urls is also spam and something I hate to see.

It is bad when they make it obvious they don't even read the topic. :XD:

Bots are probably one of the most annoying ones. My old forums used to get spammed all the time but some of those scripts are vague enough to not leave you completely certain it is a bot or just a clueless genuine user not aware of the netiquette. :(

I hope everything goes nicely with that new lead. :)

    So... Onions and public holidays.
I still haven't been confirmed we're going to be shut this Wednesday as most business do so there is a slight chance I will be called to work that day. This will be a bummer for the ZCC:CAH we had planned.

I got the redux for PS3 but I haven't played them yet.

I wish I had a SNES and its game back in the time of their primes so I could have played Mario RPG, Yoshi's world and other games people now love and I never tried or I find not much interested to try.
