Bummer my post didn't show up. Anyway I found it pretty funny I was originally reading this from Tapatalk while engulfing a Maccas brekkie and using their WiFi signal.

This text was so interesting I read every little chance I had that friday. It even had spies and twists.

-McDonald's lawyers convince the judge to disband the jury because the issues are too complicated for dumb peasant folk to understand.

    This one was really surprising.

This whole thing went on for so many years. I guess thanks to them now we have wraps, salads and other healthier options. They did it because they needed to change their image and regain the preference again.
The Australia Maccas memo was funny too.

The double standard with nutrients is quite sad.

So... I Was reading that Mcdonald's is losing the millennials.

    Quote from http://www.wsj.com/articles/mcdonalds-faces-millennial-challenge-1408928743

"The millennial generation has a wider range of choices than any generation before them," McDonald's Global Chief Brand Officer Steve Easterbrook said in an interview. "They're promiscuous in their brand loyalty. It makes it harder work for all of us to earn the loyalty of the millennial generation."

    :XD:

    Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand I lost my job.

The place went out of business after 6 fucking days.

    :horror:

How come? That is a huge shocker. :-o
Did something drastic triggered this unexpectedly?
If it was something foreseeable, did they warn you about this risk?
That's so bad, it sounded like a nice job.

If you have another 3DS or a friend with one try using your charger with it to see if tyhe problem is the charger.
This may sound silly but have you tried different outlets? It could be the base at fault and not the charger or console.

The way I see it either there is something interrupting the circuit (malfunction in outlet, charger or console) or your battery has been screwed for some reason.
Either way best of luck with that. there are Youtube tutoriales apparently promising to help you fix it yourself but I wouldn't recommend you to rush to open your console and void your guarantee.
Maybe it is easier to just send it directly to Nintendo if there is a repair number close to you.

Does anybody understand the Fight Forum?

Yes, I do! I think... Maybe...

It's not for serious debate or discussion. But it's also not for actual fights between members. It's for playing around, I guess?

I tried to make a thread to explain the purpose of the area to what I could remeber it was for: http://forums.zeldacavern.com/index.php?thre…-fight-zone.41/
But to be honest, probably that's not even what @Link had in mind and he might explain better than anyone the purpose of it.
The way I see it the idea is that we have a place to move arguments or people getting along too heavily to those zones and have an area for members to deal with their stuff there rather than spread it in every topic they visit.

It seems like this could be rolled into the Spam & games forum pretty easily.

It could, given the topics and the fact that it was created before we had a spam section. I don't think they are related. Its subforum pokemon battle could go inside general pokemon talk.
I'd like to hear more opinions from other members about this zone before moving or altering it.

I think there's a reason most websites don't have post counts anymore. Seeing that little number next to your name does something to people's brains. They want to make the number bigger, and they post dumb shit to make that happen. That's certainly what I did at the original TSR.

Still, I'm glad these forums have kept post counts around.

Xenforo, this forum software allows us to choose what to display in each skin. I usually tend to omit post counts and just let people check in members profile that info. :-p

The other problem, although not entirely caused by post counter is the veterans versus n00bs. Where newbies get minimised over older members woth huge post counts. There is also that as a nee member seeing a 5 digit number post count makes yiu feel you're entering a an old club where you won't get their inside jokes and stuff.

No seeing the post count allows a bit more to bring the feeling of being in the same level.

It's kinda true, isn't it? The rules for a lot of old forums really don't make much sense.

It is dumb now. Hosting a forum back then was too expensive and the space way more limited so every post in the database had to count.

In theory disabling the post count discourages members to spam their way up. But if they want to do so. Isn't better that they have an area for those quick posts instead of resorting to shallow replies elsewhere to that end?

We could be spamming, but instead we're having a coherent somewhat serious discussion. Haha.

Can't help it. I think it is an interesting thing to talk about.

I remember my parents used to rent cartridges at the same place they rented movies. It was pretty cool. I only remember QUEST 64. Which I didn't understand but I thought it was cool.

I remember I thought I was super cool when I figured out that the SNES and the N64 used the same RCA connection, so I could just plug the wire into the TV once, and switch the plug on the back of the console when I wanted to switch between the two.

I remember we had the antenna signal entry so I'd just put the second one in the output if the other or something like that. All I needed was to make sure I only used one at the time. I think it was the N64 and... I dunno, either ps1 or NES.

Sounds like a class I wouldn't be able to make it justice - then again I don't role play so I must be pretty bad in any role that requires a witty nature, haha.

Sounds pretty fun. I hope you kept record of some of those poems.
