It's really hard to give a reason without spoiling anything. That's why I can't give you a definitive reason unless you want to be spoiled.

Yeah, I've decided to turn this story into a sprite flash animation. Problem is, I have no idea how to do so, so we'll have to wait until I finish my Digital Arts class for me to start working on it. If anyone has any tips on sprite animation, I would greatly appreciate it. I may be able to start this project earlier with a little help. The reason for me doing this is because I think the presentation will be much better if it was in flash, and not a written story.

Yeah, I know we are not in the same continent. But, here, let me explain:

When it's Fall in the northern hemisphere, it's Spring in the southern.
When it's Summer in the northern hemisphere, it's Winter in the southern.

The northern and southern hemispheres share opposite seasons. Ergo, there is no way it can be Fall where I live and Winter where you live!
