What are some of your unpopular video game opinions? Some of mine are listed down below.

    • Super Mario RPG Sucks - I said it before, and I'll say it again. I don't like Super Mario RPG at all. It looks and feels stupid when I try to play it, and I just can't take it.
    • Super Mario 64 is alright - I recently created a thread about this, and I don't think this needs another explanation.
    • Generation 1 of Pokemon (Red/Blue/Yellow) is the worst generation - I'm waiting for the genwunners to rage. (If you don't know what a genwunner is, I'll explain it to you.) A genwunner is basically a nostalgia-blinded person who acts like none of the other Pokemon games exist just because they grew up with the original. I despise these people. People can have opinions. However, it's not alright when they say "ALL THE NEW POKEMANZ ARE SO UNCREATIVE" when, in all honesty, it's the other way around. They are just blinded by nostalgia.
    • Nostalgia is stupid - Here's my biggest one. I hate nostalgia. Just because you grew up with it doesn't mean it's the best thing in the world. I explained a lot of this in the paragraph above.

Part of the reason I hate Sunshine is undoubtedly personal. I hate tropical settings. They bum me out. I don't know why. But having the entire game set on a tropical island was like having a foul smell in the room every time I played. Sure it didn't actually effect the challenges or puzzles, but it certainly didn't help.

But I also thought the challenges were kind of a bummer. The only fun thing about the FLUDD was the jetpack stuff. Anytime you had to aim the water jet at a target, or clean something up was lame. Not only was it boring, but it removed you from the flow of Mario's movement. M64 did a great job of making the game feel fluid. You were constantly in motion, running and jumping. Ironically, once they added a water machine, the game lost its fluidity.

I was also really disappointed that the game got rid of several of mario's moves from M64. I don't recall which they were. I think it was the U-Jump and the long jump?

I don't know if the 3D marios have improved since then. I never played Galaxy. The wiimote is annoying to use.

Please play Galaxy. It brings back all the moves Mario had like the long jump, and you don't HAVE to use the Wii pointer if you don't want to. Galaxy is best Mario. It's actually rated as one of the best games of all time by a lot of critics and non-critics.

Delete this thread. It's making me cry. I remember when I was 10 and I went home every day just to go to Flipnote Hatena. Nintendo, what have you done!?!? :T_T:

Anyways, that's pretty cool! I could learn a thing or two. You know, I don't understand how people draw so good on Flipnotes anyways. It is certainly much harder to do than on a piece of paper. You'd have to have amazing handling skills. Same goes for those pics you see on Miiverse. Ew......Miiverse....

Super Mario RPG is VERY overrated, in my opinion. I think it sucks, I'm sorry. Anyways, I have never owned a SNES before, but I would really like one. Surprisingly, I have a Sega Genesis. I think you guys in Australia call it the Mega Drive or something like that. I have played some SNES games on an emulator though. (Shhh.) I've gotta say my favorite game on the SNES would probably be Kirby Super Star. I haven't really played much SNES, so I don't have many choices to choose from.

Yes. Spanish is my first language.

He site is but he can also be spot on in many issues which is why I like checking his Web.

Wait you're first language is Spanish? Can you give me lessons next year? Spanish class is mandatory for Sophomores. XD

I personally think Super Mario 64 is overrated. I have to give it credit for inventing the player-controlled camera mechanic, though. However, the controls are too damn slippery. I never hear anyone complain about this, so it confuses me. What do you guys think? Do you think Super Mario 64 is overrated?

So, are there any WiiU games you've got your eye on? :^o^:

Of course! I'm only getting the Wii U just for the games. I played a demo of Hyrule Warriors at Game Stop, so I really want that. Even though it's coming to 3DS later..One game I want more than anything is Super Mario 3D World. I will be playing that game with my brother non-stop. As well as Super Smash Bros.

    I somewhat disagree.

Guides for any game out there (or any task, for that matter) are plentiful and easy to find. There's no point for writing one just for this forum. And we can already post reviews in any of the many gaming sections that already exist. Those forums already update slowly. There's no point in splitting up the topics more.

I see. Well, if there gets to be too much guides or reviews what about then? And are we even allowed to post reviews?

I have a quick suggestion for the site. How about we add a review section or a guide section. I know we have the Resources, but that thing is broken af. I try to upload a file and it says the file I'm trying to upload is empty. This also happens in the media section sometimes. I think it would be much easier if we added a reviews/guides forum somewhere.

I'm cringing at the fact that I was even typing the title of this thread. Sonic The Hedgehog 2006 is a very infamous game. However, after I did some research, it seems that some people actually like this game. I wanted to hear everyone's opinion on this forum. Do you like or hate this game? I don't like this game at all. It is my 2nd to least favorite Sonic game (next to Sonic Labyrinth for the Game Gear). I suppose if Sega didn't rush the game and they changed the story and fixed the major glitches then it would be one of my favorite Sonic games. Sadly, that's not the case.

I won't be posting my videos here until this school year ends. That's when I'm going to start uploading videos again, because I'll have finished my Digital Arts 1 class by then. I plan on being a Let's Player of sorts. Kind of like PurpleRodri and Chuggaconroy, if any of you have ever heard of them.

So, I get it. Someone said a really good game is shit, and your first reaction is "WTF? What are they smoking!?" and that's a legit reaction.

    Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut.

Reviews are only good if the reviewer gives the score they think the product truly deserves. If we start holding reviewers to our own opinions, or to the opinion of the masses, then we've already corrupted the process. There's functionally no difference between a reviewer giving a game a good score because it's popular, and a reviewer giving a game a good score because they were paid to do so.

True, but it's weird seeing a game a ton of people like have 1 mixed review. It's something you wouldn't expect to see, you know? But, everyone does have their own opinions.
