LOL and i dont even wanna know what your holding there brethren!

so ive found the place where the serial killers and metal heads are in disguise as normal appearing hyrule fans? HAHAHA!! im home :lol

ive seen the original japanese version *subtitled* awhile ago. the anime is excellent. be prepared to know the story of FF because i couldnt keep up with what was going on and my friend *an avid ff fan* couldnt either.

i had to read about it after seeing it to get the full story.

i HATED this game. i thought it was pure garbage. fusing kinstones *while it might be a sorta cool feature* was fairly pointless. i dont want extra rupees. i want good stuff like super head explodey *LOL* or at least a cape that makes you invincable for a time or something other than the dreaded MORE KINSTONES or RUPEES! UGH! and the fact that you have to travel all the way acoss the universe in order to get the stupid chest...well, thats just annoying.

and direction? just how on EARTH do i get from point A to point B without going through a major hassle to figure out who im supposed to talk to next? i do like that they kept our birdy friend though. hes Da Bomb.

on a scale of 1 to ten this game gets a 5. its not complete utter garbage but it aint no link to the past either.

WHAT!!! they are NOT going to make me repeat every single level 3 times to beat this game. no. no. no.

sorry guys. while i like the game itself, its fun, its fast it looks good and has good control...i just dont see the point of having to go through every single level not once or twice but 3 times *and to make it worse thats EVERY CUP TOO!!* before i have beat this one. no fair nintendo. its just no fair. the least they could do is give you more tracks to play on. SHEESH!

buy it if you enjoy repetition *that gets faster as you go*, have a ten year old kid or a couple hours to burn. bummer too. i like mario.

yeah, i know. this is an old game *and relatively tough to find as well* but seeing as how i just found it, i'm reviewing it. deal with that HA!

    DS

i hate stylus games. lets just get that out of the way right now. i hate having to take away from what im doing to pick up the soon to be lost tiny little pointy $3.00 piece of plastic. but ok. since i gotta, i gotta.

trauma center has a lot of dialog. i mean A LOT. i just scroll right through it without ever reading it however i did read enough to get the general idea that you play as a rookie doctor with a god complex right from get go that manages to be humbled by his botching up *or should i say YOUR* botching up surgeries.

and yes, you preform the surgeries yourself BUT if you do one tiny thing wrong *such as put to much bandage on or not have a correct angle for your stylus to reach what youre trying to do...it happens GRRRR* your patient is going to die and youll have to start the procedure all over again.

the first few surgeries are fairly easy but then they throw a whammy on you with a near impossible to beat *because of said camera angle*. and you have to be QUICK. seriously.

the control is pretty good *mostly*. the action is pretty good. the graffix could be better *more blood n guts YAY!* but other than that, i dont have much good to say about this game. its frustrating at times to the point that i dont want to play it anymore and i havent even beat it yet.

buy it if you see it, its going to raise in value. im betting quite a bit.

jackson might have pulled off the movie, but he sure didnt pull off the game.

1: first person. i hate first person games, not because they arent any good but because i cant play them without feeling woozy and sick after 20 minutes. i had to play this one 20 at a time. BOOOOO!

2: crap control of the charectors. whats with the lunge kills anyways? thankfully, they have guns *they do keep you up on ammo mostly though but eventually you will run out and have to resort to throwing spears-a slight pain in da butt*.

3: camera angle!! BOOOO on that! you cant even look around at your environment UGH!!

4: when you play kong you fight for about 2 seconds, then have to jump(?) *since there isnt a jump button the game decides for you* to whatever branch or wall is handy. BOOOO again! AND you cant look around AGAIN, which in this case means horrible camera angles!!!

5: i could beat this game in under 3 hours. i havent tried it but i bet i could anyways. its SHORT BOOO AGAIN!

ok, enough with the boo's. to be fair the game is nice looking. the control isnt that bad, but even when i was playing the end of it where you get to crush the city it just wasnt SATISFYING. darn it.

if you must play it, rent it. its not a bad one to have in your collection but i would rather collect games that have actual replay value *and have decent unlockables, not some silly art work*.

in this ICO 2 game *and if youve never played ICO you have got to find it and enjoy it. its amazing* you play a grown up version of ICO, who has lost his love and in order to reserect her he is ordered to find, fight and finish off *the three 'f's' in video gaming LOL* 16 collosii giants.

using only a sword and bow.

when i first picked up this game i was pretty excited due to my love of the original ICO. i actually waited years for this one to come out and i was happy that they did not disappoint.
ok, so roaming around looking for your next boss is sort of a pain but the graffix are really nicely done and the action is quite smooth. i will admit that once in awhile while fighting the camera angle can become a bit troublesome but not to the point that you want to throw your controller through the wall.
this game is absolutely beautiful, creative and imaginative. while looking for your next foe i thought GEEZ will i ever get to this one? and then POW there he is; your mind starts to play. how do i climb him? where are his weak spots?
this game does have something the others do not. it has heart.
the control is wonderful, the scenery fantastic. there are NO glitches. AND you get to find out how ICO came to be *during the end credits*. if you havent played it please give it a shot. it might seem a bit repedative but theres nothing quite like the feeling of taking down the next massive hulk of pissed off foe.

that being said anyone that has already played it and doesnt know, there are unlockables. shoot fruit and lizards and eat them, it will make your grip stronger. finish the game and beat the timed version, and collosii that you beat will give you something in the wading pool at the temple *IE: whistling arrows, a cape of invisability etc etc*.
it isnt easy to beat in timed mode. in fact, its almost impossible.

i usually watch all the newly released dvds that come out the day that they do so....

kong. ive seen all the different kong movies beginning with the 1939 version *i think it was 39...dont quote me on that though* right on up and this kong was the best yet.
jack black does a phenominal job along with actor adrian brody.
the visual is amazing, the jungle scenes are noteworthy, the ruins are gorgeous. with every turn of the camera you will not be prepared for what happens next.
it moves quickly, and the script is well written.

peter jackson pulled this off better than the LOTR series *which i also loved*. i wont tell you what happens, everyone knows the story anyways but i will tell you that this is worth buying. its great; right down to jack black blaming the female for the problems that he created.
its long though...3 hours. make popcorn.

hey all. im new on the board *you probobly figured that out by now*.

im an avid video game addict, i own every system except the xbox360 *soon though!* and the sega dreamcast. i hope to give you some good reviews of other video games *if its permitted here*.

i love hyrule and most of its games and even made a tee shirt for animal crossing with link and the hyrule symbol, which is the outfit that my animal crossing charector wears. *if you want the design just ask, and yes i know thats lame so dont even go there with me hahaha*.

anyhow, im looking forward to meeting everybody here and maybe getting into a few heated debates.

for my intro i give you all this:
