Assuming it's part of the main series? Will it come after Twilight Princess, in that branch of the timeline? Will it be set in the new Hyrule seen in Spirit Tracks, and hence near the end of the child timeline? In the decline timeline, somewhere near A Link Between Worlds and Tri Force Heroes?
What do you think?

You seem to have a main website now, so could my site be an affiliate of Zelda Cavern? My own is Gaming Reinvented, with the URL being https://gamingreinvented.com, and I can get an affiliate button to you within a week or so.
Just wondering, cause I can definitely promote Zelda Cavern (and maybe the Pokemon version, if that's getting a site too) in return.

My site one is http://twitter.com/GamingReinvent. Don't really use it much though.

It's a nice diagram, though some of the changes seem to be virtually non existent (like the Game Boy/DS versions one, where the entire row are variants on the same basic design).

The same genres I like now. Namely, platformers, of both the 2D and 3D varieties. Heck, my first ever games were Super Mario Land 1 and 2, and my most recent has been Super Mario Maker.

Well, Lord of the Rings had tie in games before the movie adaptations were even considered possible. One was on the SNES and was terrible, others were on systems like the ZX Spectrum.
As for other most difficult games I've played... when there was a ROM hack called Touhou Mario which had no save points, no checkpoints and one life to beat everything, with bosses that had multiple forms. Even with save states it was painful, god help anyone who tried to beat it legitimately...
-
Well, the Wii had the better Mario platformers in the form of Mario Galaxy, and Wario Land Shake It was nice too... but I'd say the Wii U has generally had the better games overall.
-
Well, apparently it has wii remote and nunchuck support:

Sounds good.

Shadows of the Empire was crazy difficult after the first couple levels.
Donkey Kong 64 was a pretty tame game overall, until you actually tried to get through the last hour or so of the game. Requiring you to master two arcade classics, then overcome amped up versions of those older games, THEN requiring you to go through that crazy fuckin' gauntlet of a final boss fight? It was a god damned nutty game.
I think I only managed to finish that last boss fight a single time.
Yeah, Rare definitely liked making the last few levels in their games as tough as possible. Just be thankful there wasn't a bonus world like in the 2D Donkey Kong platformers...

Not quite...

The Micro's main failure was that it didn't really offer a reason to buy one. It was a small Game Boy Advance, and that was it.
And with the original and SP already out... well, only the few people who cared more about 'fashion' than common sense actually bought one.

I do technically have an account, but I never use it. I just cannot bring myself to enjoy social networking sites, even blog focused ones like Tumblr.

It's pretty cool that it's actually been announced, but it doesn't really look a whole lot different to the original version. I mean, Wind Waker HD had noticeable changes, despite having an art style that didn't even need them, and then the game which could do really well from a makeover gets... a couple of slightly improved textures?
That's kind of disappointing.

The owl from Ocarina of Time. Rauru himself was pretty good, but the owl... that thing just didn't shut up, ever.
On a similar note, most helpers in general. Like Fi.

I'd say the Virtual Boy but I never owned one.

It was still disappointing given that it looked dorky. It seemed very uncomfortable. It didn't offer many games and it didn't last long on the market. The idea was good but the execution was terrible. In many ways I think Nintendo has been re-taking the ideas they couldn't make in decades past now that technology is less limited. I think the Wii was inspired by the power glove and guns from the NES and the 3DS inspired by the ideas from the Virtual Boy.
Is the Virtual Boy really a handheld? It was marketed as one, but by design it didn't work well for that purpose.
Outside of the Virtual Boy, the DSi was a bit disappointing. Nice concept, but it just didn't really offer enough reasons to actually buy it, not least the lack of games supporting its camera feature and other stuff.

Do not ever make links only viewable by members. Signatures, sure, but people like to browse forums for a bit before viewing.
And yeah, the high amount of views is normal. Heck, I used to have it on my old site. About 200 online, of which about 150 were guests and topic views constantly going upwards. That's just a mix of search engine bots (which is a good thing) and people finding answers to their questions via search engines indexing the topics (which is also a good thing).

I'm not sure of the model, but it's a curved HD TV by Samsung.

I was actually thinking of saying something similar.
I'd be really interested to see what would happen if an active and popular IP like Zelda just got dropped into the public domain.
That's what I plan to do with at least one major gaming franchise. If I get more money, I plan to buy at least one of Nintendo's lesser known IPs, and then just public domain the whole thing. I'd especially like to try it with the Wario series.

I like Dark Types, Fire Types and Ghost Types, although that's partly due to certain Pokemon that happen to have those types rather than anything about how they match up against others.
