I like Dark Types, Fire Types and Ghost Types, although that's partly due to certain Pokemon that happen to have those types rather than anything about how they match up against others.

Definitely a night owl. My interest in actually doing things tends to increase the nearer in the day it gets, to the point I pretty much can't be bothered to do anything before about 12pm (noon).

Yeah, I know of that channel.
Still, if you're a tech geek, this is even better:

You'll have to go through quite a few pages, but somewhere there is the Splatoon soundtrack as directly ripped from the game ROM. One conversion later, and you get it without any quality loss, unlike the versions on Youtube.

I would rather a non company owned them. Like a, PC based group willing to make them available under some sort of open source license. That'd be better than having them owned by the likes of EA or Square Enix or Activision or the likes.

It means 'cheat-master30', my Lycos username. But I shortened it to sound better in ROM hacks and stuff.

Yeah, it's really messed up. This is honestly why I don't plan to get the game, because everyone I'd play with is from a different region (I'm in the UK, most of them are in the US).

Charmander, because I thought Charizard looked the coolest. It's been a bit of a trend since then, I've picked the fire type in every Pokemon game I've played.

No... No... MK is the best. It has Link! It is the best...
I'd argue that one is not unpopular opinion. At least that is the impression I have, that many favour the second one.
I have never tried any Wario Land game. I should check that one out. Topping SMB3 and DKC 2 are serious accusations.
I haven't tried much of Skyrim but the character created felt downfgraded to me. Not that is something big. Still a lot of people raved about it. It is just ridiculously big (and glitchy) it seems.
Pretty much like you usually suggest of others, This deserves a thread where you explain yourself. I mean I understand if you said it is "meh" but hating it... I want details. Details, I say!
I need to think what are my own unpopular opinions...:???:
Mario Galaxy 1 vs Mario Galaxy 2 is definitely a hotly debated topic. I actually co wrote an article way back in the olden days where I argued for Galaxy 2 vs someone else arguing for Galaxy 1:

Even as a Wario fan I didn't particularly like Wario Land Shake It's water stages. The submarine gameplay seemed kind of weird to have in a platformer, especially one which worked fine without it.

Me and the maker of that song used to talk to each other all the time on Skype. It was nice xp
Wait, you know him? That's pretty cool.

Wario Land 4 without a doubt. Every level is unique and really well designed. The graphics and music are great (especially for the GBA) and are different for every level and area of the game. And you've got levels based on creative, original ideas (like an old hotel and village, a pinball machine, a board game and a notebook of drawings) instead of the typical grass/water/fire themes.

Well, Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 have fantastic final boss music:
And we can't forget the Wind Waker final boss music:
Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside Story has great final boss music as well:
And while the game is awful, the final boss theme in Wario Master of Disguise is not:
But the best final boss theme I've heard isn't even a real one. Basically, somewhat made a 'fake' final boss song for Luigi's Mansion 2 (before the game actually came out), and it's absolutely amazing. Far better than what they actually used in the real game:

Want some controversial opinions? Okay:
Super Mario Sunshine is a pretty flawed game. Good, but nowhere near as good as some people like to make it out to be.
Super Mario Land 1 on the other hand just plain sucks. The physics are terrible, it looks bad and frankly, the setting and music are the only decent things about it.
Super Mario Galaxy 2 is better than Galaxy 1 in pretty much every way.
Wario Land 4 is better than Yoshi's Island, Donkey Kong Country 2, Super Mario Bros 3 and Kirby Super Star.
Mario Kart 8 is overrated.
Super Mario Maker is... kind of mediocre compared to any fan made level editor.

Oh god, water levels. Even ignoring the obvious (Water Temple from Ocarina of Time, Great Bay Temple from Majora's Mask), pretty much every water level I've played has been obnoxious as hell.
That said, I did like Mystic Lake from Wario Land 4, and I like the underwater tracks in Mario Kart 7 and 8.

Nope. Played SNES games on later systems via the Virtual Console, remakes, etc, but I played more Game Boy and Nintendo 64 games as a kid.
And with emulators... I'm not sure I see a reason to play this console in its original form.
-
Probably The Wind Waker, because it was my first Zelda game and hence I ended up wondering where everything was (and spending hours messing around with glitches and action replay codes). Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask are close behind though, I must have spent way more than 60 or so hours on each game.

I prefer ones like this, for SNES games:
-
From A Link Between Worlds, I prefer the desert palace theme:
Though I also like the Stone Tower Temple theme from Majora's Mask:
And the Wind Waker mini boss theme:

I haven't played a Zelda game I actually despise yet, though that's probably because I didn't buy either of the DS games and I never fancied owning a CD-i. Guess Four Swords might be the one I like the least, though that's not really a fair comparison given its multiplayer focus and total genre shift.
Favourite would still be Ocarina of Time. Which is weird, given it took about three playthroughs before I actually got 'into' the game enough to finish it.

Even as a Mario fan, I have to say Zelda. She seems somewhat more competent and doesn't get kidnapped in every single game like Peach. Just a shame the only times she's been playable outside of spinoffs were either when she was a ghost (Spirit Tracks) or in utterly awful games (aka the CD-i titles).
