Just out of curiosity but why do you buy the Japanese games too? I know Pokémon came from Japan, but... I don't think I'd get any Pokémon games in any language other than English. Although personally I liked how the 3DS games came with the option to pick a language to play in. Kind of cool to play in English and dabble in other languages to experience differences

I had Zelda Links Awakening DX on the game boy color as a kid, but I very vividly remember playing a version of Links Awakening on the game boy pocket at a babysitters home years ago. What's the difference between the two versions other than one being for the game boy and the other for game boy color? I'm seeing specks of black and white and I think that was the original Links Awakening. I don't remember playing much of the original but I remember screwing off with the sitters copy of the original. Never was much of a Zelda fan, not like I am with Pokémon. I've played Zelda on a Super Nintendo, not my own, and I've played Links Awakening and the one I had was the DX version for the game boy color

Looks like someone sat on it lol
It works perfectly though. I was grateful just to be able to get my hands on a legitimate copy of this game. I thought maybe the previous owner had taken the cartridge apart and soldered a new battery in it, hence the crack. Already on the radio tower mission.

Finally replaced Pokémon Crystal. Just beat Sprout Tower and now it's first badge time. Staying up late tonight for sure

I used to like Smule Ocarina 2 buy they removed that from the App store
I used to like Sing by Smule when they allowed to sing solo for free.

Left my job after nearly 5 years due to health issues and other life concerns. Don't regret it in the slightest. In fact I feel like a great weight has been lifted from my shoulders

I have two music apps I love to play: one is Magic Piano by Smule and another is Sargam. Second one isn't really a game, but a karaoke app

Super Mario Land 2 Six Golden Coins. Ordered a physical copy of the game because I started playing it on an emulator and forgot how addictive it was. Only 12 dollars so I'm happy.

Look at the backside of the cartridge, can you see any copyright for nintendo that is ON the card, not the case? I can clearly see mine.
Probably holding it stupidly but no I can't. It'd be on the green part right?
I see something in my Pokémon yellow but nothing on crystal. It's says Nintendo Game Boy like it's supposed to

I got money second hand which is why I'm asking. Nothing I looked at online has been the least helpful.
-
Ok, I tried looking online and am not finding anything. But is this a legitimate version of Pokémon Crystal? It looks to me like it checks out and works flawless, but what do you think? I'm pretty sure it's legit, but never hurts to ask
-
lol I owned it Physically
I Cannot stand that game.
I enjoy it honestly. Had a physical copy once before when I was probably ten, but sold my original one a few years ago because I thought I'd never play it again. If it makes you feel better I ordered the original Pokémon Crystal on Amazon for my birthday

got Pokémon Trading Card game for game boy last night and have been playing steadily

Thank you!
Yes. Odd enough we don't have such a thread, glad you changed that.
I'm 33 years old now. Hahahaha.
I got pans and Zelda merch for gifts. Quite happy. ^^
You're 2 years older than me! I'm 31 on June 9

So glad our forum is back online. Has been since yesterday but forgot to mention that lol

I don't still have mine. I sold it to GameStop because I wasn't playing it anymore. That one, the GameBoy Advance and the GameBoy Color all got sold because I didn't play any of them anymore. The only handheld I have at the moment is the 3DS.
That's why I sold my original one was because I thought I'd never play it again. How wrong I was! After downloading and emulator and playing a few gbc games on this, I'm thinking damn I miss having a game boy color. Got Pokémon Yellow a while back and hoping to get Crystal soon. Crystal and yellow are my favorites because of the extra features.

I think the GB Sp also had back-lit screen, I didn't own one but I have the impression that it was one of the difference someone brought to my attention about it. So if that is the case not even that thing about the micro was probably enough to draw people in.
Gba sp. Does have a back-lit screen. I have a colbolt blue one and play it all the time
-
That was it.
-
Exactly. Way too small.
Wasn't that the one that was about the size of a credit card if you were to compare side by side? I'd have loved to have gotten one but it only played GBA games
