    XD at the picture, Steelia.

But nonetheless, happy birthday. *wonders if you're really the age Shrukan's sig claims you to be* :]

    Aye, thanks. :)
And yes, that's my age. I did say that... Shrukan has the snapshot and everything. :tingle:

B?ta: LOL. Thanks. Getting there, getting there. :P

@Count Cutflaik: Heh, thanks Count Cutflaik. And yes, a few more years, though I have no intentions of doing so... ;)

I admire Muigi for being a great guy, for being humorous when the time calls for it, for helping build the ORIGINAL Stranded on an Island (indirectly influencing me to become a writer), and... for being a Smash Bros. fan. :P

((Multiple updates!... just because today's a special occasion for me.
...And because these are fairly short, heh.))

    Watching... Waiting...

    ...
    ...

Once more, news surrounds the Boy. In the Pokecommunity, discussions and gossip flood in about him as if he were an idol... It is sickening...

I no longer keep an ear out for such gossip and rumors. None of his gym battles, though I overheard he has cleared two, and no more of his captures... I know listen to... more important news.
Team Magma and Team Aqua have resurfaced... or so it has been said. They, like Team Rocket before them, are monitoring the Boy as if he were a virus in their database. They are now aware of the power he possesses... and that he could be a threat to them.
But, as it has been said to me, they need two of the Trinity so to bring the Boy to his knees... one of which has already been captured and sent to the Cipher Organization... And with them, they will conquer Sinnoh, and as a bonus will have the weather under their command. It could mean the end of civilization...

In due time, the Boy will most likely rise up to the oppressors of Team Aqua and Magma. But will his efforts against these two powerhouse organizations be enough?
The Boy may seem invincible... but he is still a Trainer, and a young one... I still doubt any battling capabilities he may have. He has yet to face... the strongest of uprisings...
One that may go down in history... for all eternity.

    Odds...

    ...
    ...

News is beginning to spread on the works of Team Aqua and Team Magma once more... Messengers have noticed activity around two of Hoenn's major landmarks: Mt. Chimney, where Team Magma is said to reside; and just East of the city of Lilycove, where Team Aqua resides. Both Teams are working individually... yet both have one goal in mind... The end of this World...

Ah, yes... As I listen for news of these Teams' works, so do I continue to keep my attention on the works of the Boy...
I may have said before that I would no longer say of his doings... but, finally, the hype surrounding him is beginning to die, as everyone's attention is being brought to the Aqua and Magma teams...
Apparently, the Child has defeated his fourth Gym Leader, and is currently retracing his steps... to his fifth Gym Battle, in the city of Petalburg, a place very close to where the Boy began his journey in Hoenn. Such an odd way to assemble the Gyms there... I cannot understand the way these Trainers think. Foolish creatures...
The Boy's Treecko is, surprisingly, already a Sceptile. He has used the thing very frequently in battle, so I am told. Currently, he also has a slow-minded Lombre, a finicky Swablu, and a calm Absol... Absol... I have always had a liking for that species of Creature.
The condition of the Boy's Charizard remains the same, healthy, vibrant and bold... as does the Steelix's... Ailing. Dying. Yet, it does not give in to the pressures of time. Somehow, it holds on... but only it knows how many threads are left before it falls, as many have done before it.
The will of it... is as powerful as the Boy's.

It will only make parting... more heartbreaking for that Child...

    Farewell.

    ...And Ends

    ...
    ...

He has yet again shown himself worthy of the title "Speed Demon," as the Boy has conquered his fifth Gym Leader. It is remarkable... not only his talent in battling, but also his speed... I still cannot understand why he is being so hasty. It could be because he is only a Child...
    But then...
There may be a deeper reason... behind these actions.

He is currently heading far North, to the city of Fortree, for his next Badge... His Lotad has evolved into the ever-vibrant Ludicolo... and his Swablu, into the ever-humming Altaria. Even his Pokemon seem to be... moving quickly...

Team Aqua and Team Magma continue their activities in their respective residences. No news has been leaked on what they do... only that they are up to something.

I can only guess... it deals with Groudon and Kyogre of the Trinity...
And a legend long passed... about the only items to tame them. The Red and Blue Orbs.

    But that... is another story.

    Until then...

    Today's update: An item.

    <Golden Hammer>

    *cue heavenly chorus here*

It appears on a very important-looking pedastal.
It's even more powerful than the normal hammer... and even more rare.

Fall off the stage? Tap the button repeatedly to float!

However, it may look like a powerful item... but at times, it can also malfunction. It's other nickname is the Golden Squeaky Hammer.

~This item doesn't look half-bad... though it says it's from Mario. What game did this appear in?

    Discussion!!

    ^ Ah, shinies...

With that Pokeradar, what you do is continually run into the Pokemon you... ran into.
For instance, you start up that radar, and run into a Ralts. Take notice of how the grass swayed. Now, after you capture/faint the Ralts (you MUST capture/faint it, or the radar will discontinue), the grass will shake again. Find the grass that shook just like the grass you entered so to encounter that Ralts. Eventually (some say from 20-50 random encounters), you'll run into a shiny.
You'll know the Pokemon is shiny either by:
    A) The grass will be rainbow of colors (I haven't seen it myself, but that's what I've heard). It will be sparkling.
    B) The POKEMON itself will be different colored, of course, and will "shine". It will make a glittering sound.

As far as I know, the Radar is the easiest way to go in terms of finding a shiny. But the odds of it, by "true" random encounter or egg hatching, is, what... 1 in 8000+? Something like that.
