Hey there, hope you enjoy your time here.
Just watch out for the troublemakers, and you'll be fine.

"...just arrived this afternoon. See, I told you I could make it!"
Akira, settling down for the night, had managed to survive about 7 hours worth of impatience and staring at his telephone. When the manager gave the "You have free minutes" announcement, Akira immediately picked up the phone and called his beloved. In all honesty, Akira had never been in such a rush to talk with someone... especially over the phone!
At the moment, Akira is speaking with his wife, Yukina.Akira laughs as he continues the conversation.
"No, no, I'm perfectly fine... though I wish I could have brought some more food with me." Silence... "Yes, yes, you were right, you win. I should have brought more food to begin with. Next time I'll listen to you." Silence... Chuckling. "Well, the tournament doesn't start till tomorrow morning, and..." Silence... "No, it's fine. I can stay up a while longer. If I didn't call you, I'd be up all night!" Akira laughs. Silence... "Well, thanks... I love you, Yukina." Silence... "I don't know... I just kinda felt like saying it. Ehehe..." Silence... "Thanks, hun. I wish I could be with you, too. I'm beginning to think that this tournament idea was nothing but a stupid..." Silence... "All right, if you say so. I'll try to enjoy myself. All I have is a picture of you..."
Akira pulls out his wallet from his pants' pocket. In one of the side pockets, he takes out a square picture. It is the picture of a smiling, lavender-haired woman.
"Yes..."The conversation continues for a long while. Akira makes sure to use up all the time he has before he went to bed.
When he finally finished, Akira rolled on his side and stared at the ceiling. He could picture his wife... his new family ahead of him. He could see all his friends... but he shuddered whenever he envisioned the events of the past. Keizer... Dark Boss... Oblivion... Such terrible, ruthless foes. How could such people exist in real life? Where did they go wrong in their pasts? Of course, Keizer was an alien, so Akira wasn't sure how THEIR family's styles were, and Dark Boss was nothing more than a manifestation, created by Oblivion. And Oblivion... was the root of Evil itself. The creation of all man's hatred, sins, and spiteful acts, combined into one supernaturally superpowered demonic essence.
With the overwhelming thoughts of his past before him, Akira shut out his mind and closed his eyes. In that state, he went to sleep, the picture of his wife unknowingly beside him.
* * *
Morning light leaked into Akira's quiet room. There was a sudden stillness in the air -- no motion, no sounds, nothing at all.
But it was because of this quietness that Akira woke from his slumber. He had grown used to his days in his mansion in Tokyo -- always in the morning, there was some kind of wake-up call for him. Yukina shaking him to awaken... The smell of breakfast, the sizzling of bacon... The rush hour outside, with normal Tokyo citizens heading for work... None of this was here.
Akira suffered from slight nostalgia upon waking up where he was. He had almost forgotten he had reached the Shadow House Inn, and was only sleeping on a bed because he was allowed for free. The past week, he had been "camping" outside, as during his trek he had no money to use, nor anybody who lived in the area. That was fine. At least nature was kind enough not to bug him. Lucky. It was the day of the tournament, but amazingly no one seemed to be up.
Stretching and opening his window, the sweet smell of seawater lifted Akira's spirits. It reminded Akira of the island...
The city was beautiful at this time of hour. The sun was just rising into the sky, and half the land below was still covered in shadow. The sky was painted in reds, oranges, pinks and pale blues. But there was still that certain stillness in the air."Well, at least it's peaceful," Akira said to himself quietly, shutting his window and yawning. "Now to prep for the tournament."
Glancing at the clock next to his bed, he saw that it was only 5:33am. The idea struck him for a moment... Could he be able to call her? Akira shook out the thought. There was the time difference, and it was a good chance she was already sleeping. Besides, he had said all he wanted to say last night. He wouldn't feel right continually calling her. It felt like nagging.
"Ack."
Akira left the phone alone, grabbed some spare clothes from his bag, and went off to the bathroom for a refreshing morning shower... before the other fighters got up and used the hot water! -
Got one. Had it for a while.

I would have to say Saria's Song... Why? I don't know. I really don't know... Or, probably because when I was younger, I could never defeat the game, and the only song I knew was Saria's... song...
100th.

You're the original Green Link, focused solely on rescuing Zelda and saving the day. You get along okay with the other Links, with the partial exception of Purple Link, and you try to cooperate as much as you can to complete dungeons in as timely a manner as possible. Your item of choice is usually the highly versatile Bow & Arrow, and you get along best with the fierce Red Link, spurring each other on.Hmm. Well. Guess I should have seen that one coming; being the eldest of four, I WOULD turn out Green. Ehehe.

WWAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!

Hmm, interesting. It kind of reminds me of World of Warcraft... at least with the layout of the stats and things at the bottom of the screen(s), and also the health bars. I'm sure a lot of MMORPGs use that type of style, though.
I probably won't get it until I hear if it's any good... but it looks interesting nonetheless.

Wow, I lost count of my post count around 30. Where does the time fly? ^o^
I think I can honestly say that this is one of the very few forums where I've actually reached close to a hundred... including mine, and VGDC. Yessir. And one of the few I'm most active in... including mine, excluding VGDC. Yessir. -
I'm actually looking forward to E3, now that I know the true significance of it.
As for what I want to see, I just wish to view a new trailer (and a NEWCOMER character, rather than a VETERAN character), some Godzilla: Unleashed footage (I wonder if *Magmouth* will finally get his new name?), and any other info that catches my attention (possibly Mario 'n Sonic at the Olympics).
Some Zelda stuff, like Phantom Hourglass, would be great, too. -
Hmm... Well, I always find myself cowering in my boots whenever I'm up, say, a lighthouse, and I look towards the ground hundreds of feet below... I think that's one.
And drowning. I can't stand the thought of drowning. I don't hate the water, I just don't like the idea of drowning in it.
And, for some odd reason, spider webs are my mortal enemies. HATE those things. I'm fine looking at them... just not running into them. Aye.

Possibility... Navi is somehow separated from Link (more than likely in a forest of some sort); she keeps screaming "Hey! Hey!" and is eventually attacked.
Link becomes frustrated when he can't hit the targets at the Gerudo's Fortress, and when Navi tells him he couldn't shoot a fly three inches from his face, he shoots her with one (your choice -- fire, ice, normal, or light).
When Link is riding with Epona and drops her off, Epona notices Navi and nibbles her... Eesh.
When Link finishes the battle with Phantom Ganondorf, and Navi says something like "I TOLD you we could have finished him faster if you Listened!", Link grabs her and throws her into the portal with the Phantom.
In the Great Deku Tree (Young Link), Navi is caught in a web, and when she yells "Hey!" or "Listen [to me]!" to Young Link as he keeps walking, she's feasted upon a Skulltula.
When they're out asleep somewhere, [Young] Link rolls over her in his slumber.
That's all I've got for now..........

Okay, what the hell. I can understand not being able to play it yet, but... this...?What the hell do you mean if you ever do? No mean to be rude, but, this game has been highly anticipated for years, and when it came out, about 7/8 of the people who played it when it first came out will tell you it met expectations or exceeded. Previous OoT fanboyz have even placed it higher than OoT. And you're telling me you MAY not get to play this? What the hell???
FYI... I have three other siblings to worry about, so we aren't too big on 1-player games. We try to stick to games with multiplayer, or else chaos will ensue. I'd prefer skipping out the chaos, thanks.
Chill. I didn't say I WASN'T going to play it, right? Believe me, I've wanted to try Twilight Princess for a while now. But, with "things" that have just so recently ceased (and PBR being our newest addiction), TP will just have to sit tight for a while. I'm getting it, though, sometime.
I may be a Zelda fan, but I'm not a Zelda fanatic. I'm more of a... Smash Bros. fanatic.

An interesting stage... although I'm not sure how much the holes will interfere with combat, at least the bridge will be renewed.
I've never played Twilight Princess; haven't gotten around to doing so. But if I ever do, I'll definately be looking forward to seeing this place. -

I doubt it...If he WILL be announced, which I'm doubting now ever since M&S at the Olympics was announced, they will not do it until probably like, a week before launch or something.
If not a week before, maybe not at all... but then, there's still Sakurai's translated journal entry, stating that all characters would slowly be revealed... a "piece-by-piece" scenario, if you will.
I almost forgot about M&S at the Olympics. Had that not been shown, would Sonic still have had a shot at being revealed?Whether or not he's in the game, I'm still looking forward to anything Sakurai has ready to pull out of his goodies bag. Hopefully there's the introduction of a TRUE newcomer, instead of a Veteran when E3 rolls around. Sure, Veteran's aren't all bad... but that doesn't mean we Smash fans aren't looking forward to fresh new faces, too.

Hey there, hope you enjoy your time here at the forums.

What makes it worse is that there's little we can do. It's all "Freedom of speech" and "Free will" around here. Those [idiots] take the Constitution SO ******* LITERALLY, it pisses me off to no end. And they always seem to win. Son of a... gun.
-
Not a scary dream... It's just that last night/this morning, I dreamt that Sakurai revealed Sonic for Smash Bros. Brawl. I actually went to the site to see if it was some kind of vision, but it turned out to be nothing more than... a dream.

As for strange or bizarre... I have come across those. (One in particular I cannot say, because it is indecent for younger audiences. :X )
One that stands out for me, though, is probably when I was in the falling-through-the-sky dream... I hate those. Haven't had them in a long while, though.AH! And another one I had a few days after I watched "28 Weeks Later"... I was tucked away in a room, hiding from Infected (on the first floor). Needless to say, they found my hiding place, but attacked my family while I cowered under a bed, staring outside a window. Gosh, was I tense that morning.

Well... being that E3 is right around the corner, this is possibly the best chance for Sakurai to reveal another 3rd party character and surprise audiences worldwide. Not only that, but because E3 is so renouned in the gaming community, it will easily attract E3-goers (and those browsing through the internet, following any *live* coverage) and easily hit a home run in sales come release day.
Yes, of all things, this would be the best chance to advertise Brawl's greatness... Not that it hasn't shown it, we've all seen it already. Just that, if Sonic was revealed as playable, there will definately be more attention on it.
