  • Hunter's Chance (All who wish to join)

    "Akira! Akira!" A young woman, eyes welled with tears, comes rushing in through the doorway...
    A man, just about to walk upstairs to look for something, hastily makes his way down the stairwell and into the arms of the crying woman...
    "Yukina, Yukina, what's wrong?" the man replies, comfort in his eyes but anxiety in his voice.
    "Akira..." the woman sniffles, clutching to her husband's chest, grinning from ear to ear and gazing into his eyes. "Akira, you won't... You won't believe me..."
    "What won't I believe?" Akira says, kissing his wife on the forehead and wiping away her excessive tears of joy.
    "I had gone to the doctor, because I wasn't feeling well, as you know," the woman started, taking a seat with her husband on the living room love seat. "I had... asked for a checkup, and the doctor... He gave me the results!" Yukina's eyes brightened, while her husband's remained in confusion.
    "Yes, what? What did he say?"
    "He said... Oh, Akira! Akira, I'm... I'm pregnant!"
    Akira gasped in astonishment, and he embraced his wife with all the love in his heart. "I... You're right! I don't believe it!"
    The young couple laughed and cried together, holding onto one another in disbelief...
    for, you see, the young woman named Yukina suffered from infertility... or, in other words, she was never to become a mother. And Akira, destined to remain childless.

    It seemed a new hope had brought a special gift to this young couple.
    The gift... of life...

    * * *

    This was the memory that was going through Akira's mind as the tournament was beginning. And this was the thought that stayed with him as the clock struck 12, and as he entered the building...

  • All You Need Is Love

    I suppose I know what you mean... though, if they WERE to make a game like that, Link would have to be older... How old would you say he is in Twilight Princess? He has to be at that age where he's playable not only for adults, but for children. Old enough to comprehend love, but also keeping it close to where it appears to be just a strong alliance or friendship.

    But a love-tragic-themed Zelda game would be VERY interesting. I'm not saying a makeover of Romeo and Juliet, but enough for it to show qualities of relationships and heartbreaks.

    Neither was I, really, for Ness's part. I'm not exactly thrilled with the Ice Climbers either, but try saying that in front of bloodthirsty fanboys. They'll jump you and murder you for such "blasphemy." :P

    As for Jigglypuff, I find her superior to Kirby in quite a few aspects... except in the weight and shielding departments. (Hold your shield down long enough in SSBM, she'll go soaring when it cracks! For those who don't know.)

    It was taken last year... I was in the car, bored. Leave me alone. :P

    Ahh, by the way... I might be out for this week. Family's down, so I won't be as active... Just a heads-up, because I wasn't sure where to create a topic on it.

    As for characters, I speculate Sakurai will reveal in the next coming days/weeks:
    Yoshi
    Captain Falcon
    Meta Knight
    Zero-Suit Samus
    Ness
    Luigi
    Jigglypuff
    And possibly some extra tidbits -- such as Assist Trophy characters.

    From what I hear, all original Smashers (from Super Smash BROS.) will be making back. Yes, Jigglypuff, too.

    Anywho... I'll laugh if no Animal Crossing guys are playable characters. Nothing against AC, it's just that those "fanboys" complain about it too often, and personally it's getting on my last nerve. That's why I prefer coming here for information... Nowhere near as immature as, say, the Nintendo Forums. -_-
    I'll just leave it at that.

    So, THAT's Mr. Resetti. I've been wondering about his identity; thought I recognized the name, though.

    By the way... AWESOME avatar, spiff. XD
