Ikana was fun because there is so much to do. So many sidequests, as well as so many mini dungeons before the real dungeon. I mean, first, you got the graveyard. Then the whole well thing. Then the castle ruins. Then Stone Tower. THEN ST Temple. As well as besides that, there are other sidequests that are fun.
Snowhead temple is only hard because the pillar puzzle, where you gotta punch the pillars as Goron Link, and if you punch them wrong, you'll have to start over(meaning reseting the 3 days and starting the temple over).
There's going to be a new Zelda Game coming out in 2008 so hold your pants man. I bet there will be better game in the future. Remember the Wii only came out last year.
Actually, a date has not been given. Nintendo is just working on a TP sequel for the Wii. I actually think it won't come out until 2009.

A Link to the Past got it it's popularity, and continued with LA, and eventually OoT, and then MM. After MM, THAT'S when Zelda was FULLY recognizable. OoT wasn't the only popularity game dude.
Besides, TWW did not disappoint. At all. The Wind Waker actually got more positive feedback than Twilight Princess did, a lot of people were also pussies with TP. The retarded OoT fanboyz wanted a game that was similiar to OoT. Now that TP is out, they complain that it's TOO similiar to OoT. Too flipping bad, it's what they wanted.
OoT is just a noteworthy game because it brought the series to 3D. But it wasn't the first form of popularity for Zelda, nor was it the sole purpose Zelda is popular today.

Yeah, for a person who's played it several times. If you're a newcomer t the game, you'll be exploring and doing stuff in the forest for awhile, from 20-30 minutes probably. Same with TP.
TP is slower, yes, but it's better that way, especially on the Wii version. It's because a lot of the crap before the first dungeon is control learning and crap, which gives a lot better directions than OoT, you gotta admit.
I dunno about OoT, but MM definitely had some personality. That game had possibly some of the best character development in a game.
