Can I please be enlightened on what just happened?

2 major things:

I'm actually choosing my classes on Tuesday... I went today and they were concerned with me taking Grade 12U Chemistry right away because I didn't any Chemistry classes yet. U is University level credit, I need 6 of those U classes to go to University, so I'll be taking 6 level U courses and the other 2 can be whatever I want, so I'm planning on using those other 2 classes for something like Grade 11 Chemistry to get me ready for the Grade 12 level. I take 8 classes total with 4 for the first half of the year and a different set of 4 during the second half. Therefore, I'm hoping to take 2 grade 11 courses in the beginning to prepare me for 2 Grade 12 courses in the second half of the year... I'll be busy, folks. =)

In more inspirational news, I am applying for a job at Loblaws (Major chain of big grocery stores in Canada)! Wish me luck, people.

To be fair, however:

I think the psychology behind the people wanting someone good-looking is a good one - people actively search for someone pretty (Or handsome for the ladies) but then they also want to know what that person is like. Then, if you don't think that they're the person for you, you move on. We cannot assume that just because someone wants a woman (or guy) that is beautiful that they are automatically shallow. I can appreciate a woman's body as much as the next guy, you know, and this is completely natural.
