Wait a second... how did you get out of the Twilight Princess CD?

Hello there. Just be sure to follow the rules, but don't take them too literally - Shrukan just wants things to go her way and she is concerned about how structured the forum is. If things don't go exactly how she wants them, and if the things about the forum aren't perfect, then she gets annoyed. Just don't irritate anyone here, ok? :)

Oh, and you see the Beware of Dog sign? Yeah, his name's Muigi. He has arthritis, however, so you should be able to run away from him.

The discussions of roms and emulators is moderated to an extent. We do not automatically modify/delete posts or lock threads that mention these things, only those that directly link to emu/rom sites or inquire where they may obtain roms and emulators. You can even directly state if you own emulators and rom files, you are just not allowed to show or ask how or where to obtain or use them.

For the topic: There are many beta things shown about other games, too. Some of the featured things shown are actually better than the final product. Heck, in San Andreas, you were originally allowed to run your own casino, go through car washes, buy cigarettes and gum from the store, your gang members would follow you into interiors such as a restaurant, among other mentionables that were cut from the final game.

The most likely reason why gaming companies decide to take out these extra features from games is because they caused too many bugs for them to fix in time.

^ The rap and hip-hop I listen to isn't exactly clean, but yeh.

< Isn't skinny. In fact, I'm too big. I have lost 24 pounds so far this month, however, so I'm doing good.

V Is, apparently, a blue whale.

^ Unless I wear pants in the shape of a quadrilateral and I live in a rather large pineapple located at the bottom of the ocean, then no, I am not a sponge.

    < Also needs a hug.

V Wants to be a movie actor.

^ Got to get through Muigi first. >.>

< Really, really, REALLY needs some pancakes.

V Is apparently going insane due to mind control from the Czechoslovakians.

Soldat is hard... I downloaded it and i fail at it.... a lot.

Yes, the game is not like your typical FPS. You must learn how to jump around the environment to become speedy instead of just moving straight ahead, and all of the guns' damages are based on physics - how fast the bullets are traveling affect the real pain inflicted, so if you are moving backwards while shooting someone then you are doing less damage than if you are moving forward. Also, the guns all have arcs with their bullets - you need to calculate this when shooting someone. The initial speed setting for the weapon is how far and at what rate the bullets travel out of the gun.

Not another newbie! Everyone get out the tar and chicken feathers...

The Eternal Skeleton, be sure not to get on the bad side of anyone here. There was a guy here earlier who was easily irritable...

That kind of makes me wonder what snake's final smash will be...

I'm betting he'll be able to use boxes and camouflage around the stages to confuse everyone. When there's only one person left with only a small amount of health, he'll bust out of nowhere and pwn.

For his final smash, I bet he'll infiltrate a missile base undetected and shoot missiles down onto the stages.

    :o

PS3 to me is just a "semi-truck" with a few things inside and not a good line up of games. Sure MGS4 has me eyeing it, but I don't quite have the money to get it. If I could save money, it'd take me 5 years just to buy a $500 PS3 if I'm lucky mom doesn't take my savings.

Okay, the games aspect of the PS3 is subjective, that's understandable. However, you cannot say it is "just a semi-truck with a few things inside it" because that's belittling it.

6'2" and 209 lbs, the weight isn't exactly as freaky as you would think..That's more or less the weight of people around my height x.x

You're right, actually. The taller you are, the more weight you can put on without people noticing. If a 5'3" person is 170 pounds then they will look fatter than a person that is 6'.

In the sense that PS3 has spoiled people that way; I would say it's bad.
If you can imagine I also hate HD TV XD

I have HD TV... ;_; What's wrong with it? Actually... it's the exact same concept of the arguments I've been making so far - it only enhances the picture, but the content of the shows do not change.

I do agree with you, however - graphics aren't the ONLY thing that matter. Rather, it's a collaborative effort to make a game good. If a game has only so-so graphics, then the other features should make up for it, and the opposite applies as well.

What I hate are the people who claim they don't care about graphics at all - I bet if TP was made with NES graphics they would be saying something different. :D

Adoption is a simpler and much more humane alternative to abortion: All the woman is required to do is to say that she does not want ownership of the baby and therefore wants it to be an adoptee. For one, this already gives the baby another chance to exist as a human in this world rather than to be mutilated mercilessly, and this still offers the same outcome as aborting does.

And, while I'm at it, adoption shouldn't even come up as an issue either. When a woman gets pregnant, she is taking responsibility for that baby's life, and she must not go through anything to get rid of it - she chose to have sex, and she chose to accept whatever consequences arise during and after the intercourse. The only exception to this is if the woman is, unfortunately, raped.

We have the technology and ingenuity to reduce the threat of global warming today. Solutions are already available that will stimulate the American economy by creating jobs, saving consumers money, and protecting our national security. By investing in renewable energy and energy efficiency, and increasing the efficiency of the cars we drive, we can take essential steps toward reducing our dependence on oil and other fossil fuels that cause global warming.

Using energy more efficiently and moving to renewable energy (wind, solar, geothermal, and bioenergy) would significantly reduce our emissions of heat-trapping gases. The United States currently produces 70 percent of its electricity from fossil fuels such as coal, natural gas, and oil, but only two percent from renewable sources. Since the burning of fossil fuels releases large amounts of carbon dioxide?the leading cause of global warming?but renewable energy does not, increasing the share of our electricity generated from renewable resources is one of the most effective ways to reduce global warming emissions.

Cars and trucks are another significant source (25 percent) of U.S. carbon dioxide emissions. A serious effort to address global warming must therefore reduce emissions from cars and trucks. Many technologies already exist that can do this, while also creating new jobs in the U.S. automotive sector and other industries throughout the country. In addition, American consumers would save billions of dollars on gasoline, and we would reduce our dependence on foreign oil.

By putting energy efficiency, renewable energy, and vehicle technology solutions in place at the federal level, we can reduce our contribution to global warming while creating a stronger, healthier, and more secure nation.

Good post... you basically said everything I said except with more detail and thoroughness. =)
