Which is the most underrated anime series you have ever watched? Why do you consider it to be good?

I will have to think on this one. I am sure I have watched enough material to come across something fitting the description.
How about you, Ala. Did you made this thread already with an anime in mind? [emoji14]

I can think of plenty overrated animes but I don't think I can figure out underrated ones.
Hyoka and Stein's;Gate are definitely on my top 5 and I'm not sure how they stand in general so those could be the guys.

I'm not getting old, I'm killing myself before I hit my 30s

Yeah, "Plastic Memories". I find it to be a beautiful, short anime series that should have been a lot more popular. The plot is original, the characters are well-developed, the animation is pretty impressive. I don't know why it kind of flopped.

I think Stein's Gate is well attributed. Not so sure about Hyoka. That may be one as I don't really recall that name. Then again I am not the type submerged in anime culture.

I definitely would like to check that one out.

And for me I still can't come with anything I can say without doubt it is underrated.

My pick is Infinite Stratos. I wouldn't say that it isn't popular, I just think it doesn't get the praise it deserves. I highly recommend watching it if you haven't already.

    *insert something witty here*

I will go with seirei no moribito.
It's really good and the character development, music, plot...everything about this anime is great.
As it consists of a strong female lead, it is underrated :(

Baccano, personally it doesn't get enough credit for it's unique storyline and modernized content.

I have tried baccano before but stopped after watching for a couple of minutes.
The same goes to durara too.
    Their introductions aren't that great.

Do you mean their intro songs or actual episodes?

    Nope.
I am talking about the actual episode kaynil.
It's not great and I got extremely bored.
Now, I don't want to watch it anytime soon.
