Possible new climbing ability?

At this point this is just basically an assumption.

This image was released not very long ago and it has opened an interesting question. Is it just an artistic liberty or are we seeing to a new skill for our young hero?

I am inclined to think it is indeed an in-game ability, even if we lack any real details on how it works. It might be of limited use of tied to a game item or milestone. What do you think?

Nintendo Treehouse has shown beyond doubt that it is a real mechanic and one we'll probably use a fair amount of times if we desire to, in order to explore.
It uses the energy gauge, but I am fine with that.

I agree, I am really excited. From what it was shown it works really well and you can climb even buildings and stuff. it is pretty neat!
