Yeah, it can be done. Some places online might offer you a tutorial on how to do it yourself. Or maybe you could try finding some online or local shop that repairs video game consoles so they fix it for you.
Depending where you live maybe you could have it covered by Nintendo's (or the electronic shop you got it from) guarantee and be able to mail it to them for repair at no cost so you might want to try that first.
