I've updated the first post to have all the banners readily available.
I simplified the thread. Now you can readily see the images.

    They look great.
but what about the social media profiles?
Many people use them and you can promote our forum in those sites.

Yeah, for sure. Feel free to talk about us on your social networks. A shoutout to bring awareness of our community can help.
It doesn't have to be the index page either, if there is a thread you particularly like, sharing it through twitter and facebook will get other curious on it, maybe engaging them enough to decide our community is worth their time. :)

Also, we do have a twitter and facebook account, but I haven't really posted through them enough. Once they have some content, I will make sure to add them to the side of the forum.

    Gah, I want NX.

    Don't we all?

Still, I am hoping that they will announce something juicy to push for new 3DS sales this Christmas.
Following that logic, I think they will most likely withhold information on the NX until next year. :???:

Are any game in particular you'd like them to talk about?
Or some surprise reveal game from a certain franchise you'd love to happen?

Through his different twitter accounts, Nintendo has announced a new Nintendo Direct is coming our way.
Apparently, they have confirmed that they won't be talking about the NX at all, just in case.

America: 1st of September - 7 am PT
    Europe: 1st of September - 4pm CEST
    Japan: 1st of September - 11pm
    Australia: 2nd September - 12am AEST

The original tweet from their main account:

After this was posted, the rest of the verified regional Nintendo accounts started spreading similar tweets with the date converted into their correspondent timezone.

There are a few titles coming out in the next weeks, like the newest Pokémon Sun and Moon games, but it should be interesting to see what new games they might reveal.

This is probably the last shot of Nintendo to turn over Metroid Prime:Federation Force.
I just learned it has been already out, but they might still want to convince the skeptics on what it has to offer. Hopefully, neither that or the new Pokémon will take the majority of the event.

    What do you think?

    Pointless Rant

Disney is a brand company that never really had any creativity, all the "classic Disney" stories are tradition children's stories mostly from the tales of Grimm taken and had all the morality and justice ripped out of them. So it's no surprise that they are just doing the same thing to themselves at this point cause while Disney may seem to be a movie producer they're really a brand company since there's more money in that movies are just a side thing for them. So I've never been really impressed or totally enjoyed a Disney movie and I've yet to see their latest instalments of the above movies.

That was a pointless rant sorry.

I don't think it was pointless at all. It is pretty much on topic. Imagine my surprise growing up to learn about the tales I grew up with and how Disney changed them. Then you have the ones that are actually involving people that existed like Mulan and Pocahontas.

I do have a soft spot for many of their movies, many because I grew with them. I have enjoyed their material.
I chuckled when you mention they are now doing the same to themselves, haha.

I've got a rule about remakes.
    I don't watch them.

I am sure I've heard other people going by the same rule. I guess you're voting with your wallet.

But since the Disney films are the iconic version of these stories at this point, it's unlikely that you're going to see a Cinderella film that isn't some kind of reaction to the Disney feature.

I remember as a kid I watched non-Disney Peter Pan and Alice in wonderland, now as an adult, I can tell you for what I can briefly recall the Alice one was more faithful to the book and the Peter one was different but still fun. I wish I could still be able to identify them.

Also Pete's dragon sounds awfully familiar too, so when I watched this in the cinemas

I thought it looked like Tarzan at first. But every time I thought of the title my head stubbornly kept conjuring a goofy looking cartoon dragon in a live-action setting and nothing about being lost and raised in the Jungle. I don't remember the plot of the movie in itself but I feel safe to say that dragon wouldn't hurt a fly. Either this teaser is setting people off for disappointment or story has been changed. Not sure what to make of it yet.

It looks like a twilight movie too. I'm not adding that to a list of must watches any time soon. It seems like there'll be a hint of comic relief but not enough to save it.

It seems like they will be playing it safe and right into our nostalgia. The music and dialogue from the teaser feel almost ripped straight from the cartoon. Thing is, I am a sucker and prime target of the nostalgia, so if they play their cards right and I like what I see, I will most likely get excited enough to want to watch it. Even so, Maleficent is a great reminder not to let my expectations become high.

I just wonder guys if you have ever Rage quit a game and how prone you are to do that.
I also would love if you guys shared your stories on how that came to be.

I have the feeling some PS or PS2 game made me get really frustrated and quit before but I cannot remember anything beyond that. I didn't throw my controller to the Tv so I guess that's good news.

Recently I was very hooked with Bravely Default, but I skipped by accident two job asterisks, they were optional but I was looking forward to getting them so realising they were not longer available in the chapter bugged me to the point of starting over in a new file. I also have been grinding a lot compared to my last file. I was just barely in the second chapter when I had already reached the level I had before, 50. Right now I am nearing 60 and I haven't got the second bragging-McNugget out of the four. In my past file, I had just gotten the third one. I feel I will only feel better once I reach to where I was in my first file without missing the optional jobs.

Would you consider this some sort of rage-quit? I don't exactly regret my decision, but I can feel the anxiety for not being yet where I was. It is one of the weirdest feelings I've ever had over a game.

    Sounds pretty cool.
I probably haven't played the game enough times as it is, so with the Japanese text and not a firm grasp of Hyrule's terrain, I am afraid I am not ready to try this.
That said, knowing that something like this exists and is so well done, definitely belongs here and I hope other members find it useful.

When there were less than 10 episodes released I was suggested to keep out. With the quality being mocked and all the memes that became popular, I thought I'd keep it that way. But lately a few of my mates started talking about a 'Black Goku' so iI decided that I'd give the show a shot and see how I feel about it. I am roughly halfway.

So, has anyone else here given it a go?
Are you liking it overall? Are there things you don't like about it? Will Vegeta's humiliation ever end?

Before I give my points of view,I am kind of hoping someone else will have opinions of their own to share.

A while ago we got cinderella. This year we got the Jungle book and Tarzan.

I believe more movies are on their way.

(Edit: I originally started this thread believing all those movies were made by a Disney Studio. my bad. I don't think The Legend of Tarzan was made by Disney. I edited the title accordingly)

How do you feel about them?
So far, have you watched any of them? Did you like them?
Do you think it is fair to compare them?

You know, now that I think about it, it is not that new. I remember there was a '101 dalmatians' live action movie as well. I still feel like this last few years have been about rewriting tales we remember from our childhood or bringing a different angle to them.

I am making this thread mostly with tangible, materialistic type of presents in mind.

I don't mind if you mention more than one, I am just curious what kind of presents have marked you and if there is a nice story behind them.

People seem to find it easy to get gifts spot on for me but I always find hard to get gifts with confidence for other people, it is usually when I realise just how little observant I am. Anyway, what have you guys received that rocked?
