*Inserts obligatory 'hit Navi for extra points' joke*

Wouldn't it be interesting to see more AR mobile games?
My phone battery would go down the drain, but darn, I really liked pokemon Go.

The year certainly went by really fast. I think Nintendo is doing fine. They pushed the stuff already in motion while he was alive and now there are some interesting twists with the upcoming plans and game. I think after the release of the NX we will be able to appreciate better Nintendo 's position.

The whole killer using a knife and other items seem to come from the fact directors wanted the audience to understand the pain better. Very few people have been shot before, but most people have accidentally cut themselves or burned themselves from boiling water. So they began incorporating everyday things instead of things like guns.

Oh, I never thought of that! That is pretty interesting. I guess this also could explain the reasoning of some 'clichés' as well, like the person that trips trying to escape.

Yeah Clockwork Orange and 2001 aren't really that. Clockwork Orange, I think a case can be made for it but yeah, it came in a 3 pack with those two movies and The Shining so I decided to pick it up.

The original Psycho is absolutely horror though. Horror is a pretty wide genre. It isn't like Comedy or Action. It is less of a genre and more of a theme. Horror deals with anything macabre whether it has fantastical elements or not. Lots of horror movies are fantastical (Pan's Labyrinth, Nightmare on Elm Street ETC). What most people think of horror is really just a thriller with a horror theme. Psycho, Halloween, The Shining and so forth. There are comedy movies (Evil Dead 2 / Army of Darkness), love stories (Hellraiser), Adventure (Zombie movies), murder mysteries (Deep Red or Tenebre). All these are horror movies but live in other genres but have horror themes.

    Oh, that makes sense.

Put like that, I might actually have a few I enjoy. The challenge is remember the Spanish titles so i can search what was their original name. During the nineties, most movies were translated with corny, different names.
But sicne you mention comedy, I guess Shaun of the dead is a horror-comedy I enjoyed quite a bit.

It does warm my heart a little.

Mario Maker now makes it so much easier, hahah.
Remember when people editing ROMS of a game to propose? I do applaud that effort.

Eh, I'm getting bored of these marriage proposal videos and articles now. I mean, they exist for just about every major game, and they're all pretty much the same thing.

Yeah. I don't think they have the same impact that the first two I ever saw had on me.

It was fun, although I was expecting more news about the NX. Nintendo was very reserved about a console that should be less than a year away.

To be fair we were warned there wasn't going to be any news about the NX.
Although I agree it is an odd move not to build hype around a console that is about to launch. Hopefully they will advertise like crazy during the last months before the year ends or something.

It makes sense to me. The idea of a fourth piece seems completely arbitrary and made up, but your explanation makes sense. Not sure there's much else to say - the person seeking the triforce can be represented as a piece trying to fit into the middle of the triforce. Yep. Makes sense to me. I wish I had some in-depth and enlightening commentary... any takers?

I appreciate your comment. I think that you actually commented even if it wasn't something fancy is a lot more encouraging than receiving not comment at all, hahah.
Glad it made some sense. :)

It is not very common to jump the gun with all the quotes and new information that has been revealed in The legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

One of the biggest misconceptions is the idea that we can simply 'wake up' and march straight towards the last boss in our initial gear.
It has already been made clear we will need a certain item to be able to leave the initial area, so while you probably won't have to follow straight to a T all the initial missions, you will still need to play some before you can be equipped in a way that that you can actually make it far if you're deciding to go for that dash.

It also brought in people the fear that they might accidentally skip segments of the story which doesn't seem to be the case, since Aonuma quote is clear talking about a choice. You can bother getting familiar with your surroundings and the lives of the NPCs around you or you can just dash towards the main game. Most likely if you are used to talking to NPCs and obeying instructions (like the voice that guides you at the start of the demo) you will be fine.

I just think it means that this game won't give you a sense of dread over starting over because of long tutorials of things you already know and you will be able to trim the fat if you know what you're doing or don't really like wasting time in little side quests and the like. Surely not everyone will be willing to complete the 100+ trial challenges.

I am a huge horror movie fan. I have been building a pretty decent horror blu-ray collection... Here is what I have

That's a pretty interesting collection. You have quite a few I have not heard about.
Would you consider clockwork orange a horror movie? I liked that one and the original psycho. Although I never thought of them as full on horror movies.
Another one I like, since I see you have the Carry and the Shinning is Misery. :)

Hey Dotty! Pleased to meet you!
I like your avatar. I remember the commercial.

Following the tradition, I must ask you the...

    GOLDEN QUESTIONS!

    • What's your favourite Zelda game?

    • What was the first Zelda game you ever played?

    • What is the thing from "The Legend of Zelda" that captures your attention the most?

    • How did you find our community?

I hope you enjoy your stay. Don't hesitate to create new threads or reply any one taht gets your attention. :)

I still can't believe we used to hang around PoP and now you are working for Volition. It's incredible and I agree with Pickle. I am very happy you have made it so far and I am excited to see what you guys develop.
After P.O.P. I just didn't imagine we'll be interacting again in a community. I am very happy and honestly looking to catch up. I am glad you and Dave kept in touch. :)

And yes. I'll be with @Sardonic Pickle to get this game on day one!

I just stumbled across this and I thought it was worth the share.

According to the gameplay footage, BoTW has more of ambiental music than a proper melody to go with the field. For those patient enough, some chimes can be chained together to reveal some familiar tunes, at the very least this is one that has been spotted:

The Song of Time also known as song played in Ocarina of Time inside the Temple of time.

I am not much of a horror movie goer and I tend to annoy people because I will laugh at some points in the movie. I don't mean to be derisive, and I it is really difficult to help it. I don't really talk bad, I just chuckle.

Most of the horror movies I recall them from my childhood. Back then the religious ones were the ones that used to get me the most, like the exorcist.
