I took out from the library some books on web creation, photoshop CC and HTML 5. I'll be reading those and getting all I can from them this month.

Mario Kart 8 is overrated.
No... No... MK is the best. It has Link! It is the best...Super Mario Galaxy 2 is better than Galaxy 1 in pretty much every way.
I'd argue that one is not unpopular opinion. At least that is the impression I have, that many favour the second one.I have never tried any Wario Land game. I should check that one out. Topping SMB3 and DKC 2 are serious accusations.
Skyrim sucks. I mean it was a good game and I did enjoy the tiny bit that I played but the amount of walking and how everything was so damn confusing just made me hate the game so much
I haven't tried much of Skyrim but the character created felt downfgraded to me. Not that is something big. Still a lot of people raved about it. It is just ridiculously big (and glitchy) it seems.
and I'm pretty much the only person I know who has ever hated Wind Waker.

I agree it is subjective but those out of the ordinary you feel have contributed to raise the bar I think are worth mentioning.
Also, don't get so catch up on series, there are also one shot movies and stuff that can be discussed here, like some of Hayao Miyazaki's works. -

I just read this thread title as "recommend mean anime"
Anyway, I can see the point of long Shounen series usually getting old after a while. I guess it is also that as we grow older we tend to drift from their intended target. I mean I loved Dragon Ball Z back in the day but now I get very frustrated at how long everything takes. I can only imagine younger people have that attachment to more recent anime, and maybe those new anime actually managed to correct some of the flaws of the ones we grew up.
Anyway, I am just starting with the above mentioned Gate anime. 3 out of 12 so I can't say much, so far the pace is good.
@The Inhaling One I'll sue you for Animeism ( discriminating on base of anime liking or disliking) .....
If I had the medals add-on here I'd make one with that name just for giggles. :XD:

You can google for a 1337 converter/translator, but I think it is best you do it your own.
Basic common substitutes:

If so, take a look at orihime in bleach anime.
I think the comment made was "I'm not a huge fan", which doesn't necessarily implies she is disliked, just that it doesn't stick out enough for a person to be a fan of her.For me, she was alright. She was the first female companion so I am biased in her favour over the others. I think she's strong and a unique enough.
So which female companion you guys like the less?

This is very interesting. I've seen so far only positive reactions t the point I was considering watching Gintama. So, it is not a good story or compelling characters in it? Is it just vulgar humour what has boosted it so much?
