I actually just got all caught up with where the show is so far! The whole thing is a quality roller coaster. They'll have 3~5 episodes in a row that area really good, then 3~5 that feel like pointless filler that doesn't go anywhere. Near the end my partner very nearly quit watching, but then the last half-dozen episodes were great! They had actual character growth and moved the narrative forward a step.

I would like to continue watching it as it goes, though I'm terrible at keeping up with shows as they run. So we will see.

I wanted to make a concerted effort to hang out here more, and I figured a good first step was to get my profile all updated. I've generally preferred "LS" to the full "Linkskywalker" for a long time, since I'm not actually much of a Zelda or Star Wars fan anymore. The only problem is that most places don't let you use two-letter usernames. I don't really like the double underscore either, but being an administrator doesn't exempt me from the "only one name change every ~180 days" rule, so I'll have to wait until later to figure out a better way to spell it.

Kaynil Ugh, I hear you about eating out more when you work more. The difference between 40 hours and 50 hours is that I wind up spending all that extra money on food that makes me feel shitty and shortens my lifespan. I empathize, bud

Holy heck we're crushin' it.

Going over edits for my next project. Lots of good changes, I am happy about it, but I think I'm gonna ask my editor to take ooooone more pass before layout. I worry I've injected some new misspellings since the last round.

I already paid them tho. I hate asking people to do more work after I pay them. >.>

Kyde Me too, actually. Made this really delicious rice & chicken meal that just had a lot of oil and acid in it, and my body doesn't always handle that stuff well.

I've been feeling pretty sluggish myself the last couple days. I took most of last week off from normal work to toy around with more minor projects, but I really need to get back to it and I don't waaaaant to.

I've tried to come back a few times, but things are slow enough that I usually fall off again. Gonna make a real concerted effort to stick around for at least a few months this time. This is the only traditional forum I've got left.
