I remember these guys. They made that Mario/Portal crossover game, Mari0. Their version of Tetris seems interesting too I guess.

Welcome to Zelda Cavern Dark Master!

Honestly, I'd say he looks about as creepy in either version. No worries there:
to:
Nor for the rest of the temple really. Heck, the Redeads actually look more like their official art in the 3DS game, which is horrifying:

Game Boy, with Super Mario Land 1 and 2.

Haven't really noticed anything like this. Barring maybe the obvious ones:
But really, as people have said, most of the series has a 'western' vibe to it. You've got the standard sword and shield wielding hero fighting through a kingdom with a medieval european aesthetic and monsters from typical fantasy stories. Okay, it's less traditional in that sense than Castlevania, but come on, Zelda 1 up to Link to the Past have that feel down to a tee. Doesn't this bring to mind something akin to Lord of the Rings?
Heck, in the older games, they even had references to Christianity with the 'Book of Magic' and the cross on Link's shield. So that sort of music fit the feel of the games perfectly.
Either way, I'd say it's more likely the opposite. The games started with a very western feel, and have become a bit less so in recent generations, with a more mixed soundtrack feel in the likes of Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, etc.

I haven't played it yet, but I did download the files from the Internet Archive version. Which if you're interested, seems to work out fine:

Spend it on businesses, property, investing etc. So, fairly boring uses to be honest.

Yeah, the problem with Skyward Sword is they tried to make the combat a bit too 'realistic' in some sense. Yes, trained fighters are more defensive (as anyone who saw a certain boxing match will tell you). But in a game, you don't want cautious enemies, you want reckless, dangerous ones. It's just more fun when your enemy is actively trying to kill you, not just blocking attacks.
Also, note the word 'trained'. Your average Bokoblin shouldn't be acting like a trained swordsman. More like some really drunk guy out the pub, the kind who just wants an all out bar brawl with no holds barred. They should have fought more like the untrained beserker common outside of fencing and the likes.

All Link/Zelda cosplays just look weird to me. It just can't work outside a game.
Hey, look on the bright side. At least Zelda characters are somewhat human like in terms of design. As someone's who a fan of the Mario series (and it's spinoffs), trust me, the cosplays for those games are ten times worse. I've seen far better attempts at mimicking Link than I have at mimicking Mario. Or Wario. Or anyone else from those games.

To be honest, I never really bought many Wii games. Maybe Super Mario Galaxy 2 or something? That was 2010, right?
-
So, a bit old now, but have you considered a 2DS or something similar? I mean, sure, no 3D. But the games don't exactly need it, and most owners play them with the feature disabled anyway.

Welcome to Zelda Cavern @Lord_Balkan!

I still want King K Rool. I may have failed to get him in Brawl or Smash Bros 4, but NX will be the time... right?
-
No, I don't think the 3DS is overrated. I mean, it has A Link Between Worlds, two 3D Zelda remakes, Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon and the latest Pokemon games, all of which are amazing.
But the Wii U is good too.
-
Given how complicated the 3D Zelda games are, that's impressive. Surprised anyone could beat the game without being able to see really...
-
I like the Mario Galaxy games, and I think both of them are absolutely amazing in their own right (especially in regards to the visuals and music). But I still see the odd part of each that could have been done better, like the Grand Finale Galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy 1 and the recycled content in Super Mario Galaxy 2. They're 90%+ games quality wise, they just could have been damn near perfect if that last part of each game was tweaked and changed a bit.
-
What era?
Wouldn't trust anywhere from Ocarina of Time. You seen what's under Kakariko Village? And Hyrule Castle Town burns to the ground.
Termina... nah, rather not put up with a falling moon and the end of the world in 3 days.
Maybe somewhere like Windfall Island could be pleasant enough? No enemies, no attacks by villains, peaceful right the way through the whole game.

Meh, I prefer sites like Reddit and Ycombinator's Hacker News. Because they basically are web forums, except centered around submited links and in the former's case, divided into communities based on niche subject areas.
So you tend to avoid the social and political drama crap, at least if you don't actively go looking for it.

Mozilla Firefox (with uBlock), unless some idiotic site requires flash for some reason.

The fourth one is definitely the main (and likely only decent) point. I mean, you know what the biggest problem in past games is? Nothing happens in the overworld. You have a few enemies, a few collectables to get and maybe the odd sidequest, but there's always just one town and one mode of transport. Put in a few more towns, make the enemies get gradually tougher throughout the game, let Link use Epona, a boat and flight in the same game and have a few optional dungeons and other areas... and you'd have the best Zelda game in a long time.
The motion controls point I can only half agree with though. Sure, try and avoid using motion controls for pointless stuff (like swimming, throwing bombs, etc), but motion controlled swordplay can work really well. You just need more aggressive enemies than in Skyward Sword.
