Big James Dashner and Jack London fan? I've never actually heard of any of these books. Do tell, why are they on your list?

As for myself, I've been meaning to read a history book called Rubicon about the life of Julius Caesar (I just can't get enough. =P), and I'd like to finish reading Athena's Daughters, because I like women and I like science fiction and I like supporting women who write science fiction.

No, I just enjoyed the The Maze Runner film and was curious to see about the books that inspired them and seeing as how I like to finish what I start, I figured I'd might as well get them all so I have the complete collection.

That sucks man; but, QFT. You couldn't have said it any better. I've always enjoyed writing in my aspects and avenues. It's always been an emotional outlet that I couldn't use words verbally to express. I plan to eventually finish my novel, when I'm not continuously being sidetracked or distracted. I swear our attention spans with all of this technology is horrible. I can be focusing on one thing for like 5-10 seconds and then something 'interesting' happens and boom, train of thought gets derailed and I'm left a splutterin'.

Target is a great company, they really do care about their employees and I've always loved the layout of the store.

I presently work as an Alarm Monitor for a gas company, I sit in a chair for 8 hours and monitor alarms. It's a lot like the home security system companies you hear about and see commercials for all the time. 'Cept we're the security company that monitors gas stations of our company, if that makes sense?

My list of books that I really want to read is as follows:
The Blood of Olympus by Rick Riordan
The Scorch Trials by James Dashner
The Death Cure by James Dashner
The Kill Order by James Dashner
The Given Sacrifice by S.M. Stirling
The Call of the Wild by Jack London
    White Fang by Jack London
    The Game by Jack London
The Scarlet Plague by Jack London
The Star Rover by Jack London
The Golden Princess by S.M. Stirling
The Bane Chronicles by Cassandra Clare, Sarah Rees Brennan & Maureen Johnson
Faith of the Fallen by Terry Goodkind

I do, started recently after I transitioned from my highly demanding, physical job to a sedentary one. I wanted to try to maintain some form of physical shape/conditioning and I've been gradually making progress on toning/building muscle. I'm in no hurry, too easy to tear something and/or get injured so I'm content to go at it slow.

My motivation is simply that I want to get healthy and be able to participate in things I enjoy.
