The second game I ever owned on the Nintendo 64. I remember feeling like such a failure because I couldn't beat it without cheats. Little did I realize at the time that when I was 28 years old, I would still count SotE as one of the hardest fuckin' games ever.

Even the cheat was difficult to enter. I needed to keep a pile of rubber bands next to the console, because it was impossible for me to press all the necessary buttons with my fingers.

I have no idea how I finished that game. It just can't happen now. A very good game though. My favourite level being the one where you fight Boba Fett at the end.

The Boba Fett fight was my original breaking point, I think. He was fucking hard enough to beat on his own, but then you had to fight his fucking ship as well.

I think I eventually got through the fight fair and square. But I'm pretty sure it's also where I started using cheats.
