Mario stals music from a song that came out 6 years earlier?

Wow, the first 6 beats sound exactly the same. OMG REPORT TO TEH COPZERS!

Almost anyone can make the same tune with a guitar. Though, the Mario one goes down a different path than the other, which just repeats the same six beats over and over again. Not stolen.

I'd say this is either pure coincidence, or Nintendo made this song in homage of...err...those other guys.
