So what's the best FPS you've ever played?

    Mine is 60 fps.

    JUST KIDDING HAHAHAHAHHAHA

Seriously, first person shooters... what's the best?

Goldeneye 64 or Perfect Dark 64 for me. Also the original Call of Dutys, probably up until and including World at War. They just lost it after then.

My favorite FPS is probably Battlefield 4 or Call of Duty 2: Big Red One. That was the first Call of Duty I ever played <3

I am also fond of the Black Ops games, but only for the multiplayer aspects.

    *insert something witty here*

I think it's unfair to lump together multiplayer experience and singleplayer experience, for FPSes.

I think in terms of single-player campaigns, the best of all time was CoD 4. It had a surprisingly excellent story and great gameplay. I'm still a huge fan. Though I liked all the modern warfares, CoD was all downhill after that one.

It's hard for me to think of an FPS that I really really enjoyed.

I liked Quake 3 back in the day, and I used to play a lot of the original Halo on PC. Half Life and Half Life 2 are both great. But looking at my current library...I guess Shadow Warrior might count as an FPS? But I didn't really stick with it long.

I can play an FPS if it's what the rest of the group is doing. But as a general rule it's just not my genre.

:!: Ask me about the D&D books I've published.

For me it would have to be Rainbow Six Vegas 2 :) loved that game a lot and spent many hours on it (9 months straight on a nightly basis to be precise) and I have a copy again so I am able to go back and play whenever I can before the new one Rainbow Six Siege :)

I've never played any of the Rainbow Six games, I wanna though... one day.

Battlefield 4 was a personal favourite of mine. I remmber I went through a particular period where I would only use the sniper and I got quite a decent amount of kills and it felt so awesome especially as sniping in BF isn't the easiest thing to do with wind and drops etc.

With ya there. I now and then play it. It's so satisfying being a recon.
