I'm playing it with the button controls. I tried motion first, but it was super hard to control. My Joycons appeared ti-o be miscallibrated all the time... It would also appear I'm not the only one having this issue. A quick surf on the internet taught me a lot of people are suffering from this. So I'm doing the buttons. Only downside to the buttons so far: I'm to energetic so when I'm fighting I do spin attacks all the time... I run out of stamina in fights super fast... 
Yeah, buttons are so much easier for me and since I play easier with buttons on every game I’ve ever played, though sometimes in some games I allow motion control aiming
True! I took me a while to find out that in BOTW motion control aiming for archery and runes is on by default. So I was trying to aim with the buttons while me moving the controller kind of ruined that 
But I turned motion off completely now
