Well, you can go as in depth as you want without the spoiler tag considering that by the thread nature we all know endings is what will be discussed.
so, I think we all have been close to this. Having a good series, a good book, that ends up being underwhelming for its finale, sometimes coming with Deux ex-Machina solutions; other times they actually warp things in a credible way but you still feel cheated, the characters didn't get the ending you thought they deserved, the book ended in a weird point. There is just something there that makes it so disappointing.
