And Myspace?
No bro, Tagged. But that's before your time.
I feel insulted. Should I feel insulted?
You can if you want, but tagged came out when I was like 15 so that's like 12 years ago, how old are you?
I have a tagged account. They are still sending emails from time to time.

I turned 15 last month.
HAHAHAHA!
I remember when having a MySpace used to be 'cool'.
Back then with tagged, hi5 and otehr Social Networks tried out it felt like no one cared to move out of MySpace
Then the Facebook nation attacked.

Actually, Facebook is slowly dying as well. An alarming rate of teens have left or ignored Facebook. I am in this group. The only reason Facebook is still alive is because of the adults.
So where do the cool guys hang out these days?

No idea, I usually only use Twitter when it comes to social media, as do a lot of the people from my school. Oh, Instagram is another big one. I hate Instagram, though.
Now that you mention it, it seems many people seem to be picking instagram nowadays.
So, has anyone hear of Hi5?
I used to have a profile there but I ended up doing a massive pruning of accounts everywhere and I deleted it.... or maybe it is still tehre, collecting dust on my shame and I am trying to prevent other people from looking for it.
Myspace was awesome for posting my songs. Now that aspect has kind of left me, social media has become pointless. Facebook can suck it. Twitter is useful for promotion of my channel.
I also used LiveJournal. Haha I was so dramatic.

Best times. Hahaha.
I still have my livejournal. At some point I connected to my twitter account so what happens is that for months is just my tweets. then I remember I have it and I clean it and explain a bit some of the tweets, but i really haven't written any proper original entry in a long, long time..
I also still have my livejournal. I even used it as recently as 2010, before I started Comma, Blank_. My old blogger blog that really got me going in the tabletop community.
I've also got a xanga floatong around out there, I think.
I would probably use twitter and instagram more if I had a smartphone. Smart devices seem like a prerequisite for really engaging with today's social networks. Much as I don't like smart devices, I also feel as thpugh I lack agency sometimes because I don't have one.

I don't know how to tell you this, buddy. They pulled the plug on Xanga. I think you can still get your backup
I used to have a aXanga and used to like their editor way better than LJ, but everybody raved on LJ and when I joined it was so community orientated with people actually reading and commenting my entries so I left poor Xanga Alone. My Xanga period was the Angsty, completed with a headert that mimicked blood stains. Hahaha. Maybe it is for the ebst it is gone.
I did manually copy pasted some of them into LJ anyway, so not all of it is lost. XD
I was bummed that Xanga is gone, since I know I made at least one personally important Xanga post. BUT, I'm pretty sure I transferred all my Xanga posts to LJ as well!
I, also, recall not being super stoked on LJ in theory. But it was SOOOO popular with the TSR crowd. So much commenting and discussion, that I really got into using it for a few years. I wouldn't be surprised if it's responsible for the forums getting so dead, actually.
I have tried logging into MySpace again. But I don't really get what it is about anymore.

TSR did suffer beacsue of it and us trying to have our go at beinga dmins in self-hosted little create-your-forum-in-3-steps places. :X'D: I still remember my "Spanish lessons" forums and Hyrule Field. I also remember a forum you had where I tried RP for a bit. Intimidating. I had someone darkflame77 if I can recall his full username PMing. I know his nick because I know I printed those PMs. I am rpetty sure it was that soft blue forum of yours.
I think LJ is kind of the middle link between the transition between Communities and Facebook. People wanted to be the center of attention like old blogs and SN but in a way that they felt they got a lot of reception and were in a intimate web. FB started as connecting with the close to you, as opposed to add everybody thing MySpace had going. HA HA HA HA. Funny how the platform has evolved since then.
That's true. A lot of us split off to start our own little forums as well. At the time I think we all thought about it like "I'm going to do my own unique thing, and it won't take away from TSR." But people only have so much forum time in their day, and we probably did dilute the TSR userbase a little bit.
