When did you buy your Wii?

What year did you purchase your Wii? Did you buy it immediately after its launch or did you wait a while?

I never actually did. My girlfriend had one when she moved in with me in early 2011, which I've used occasionally. Honestly though, I don't think I would have ever bought one if not for that.

I got it at the midnight launch in 2006, bundled with Twilight Princess. My last great Nintendo moment. During the wait, we were playing multiplayer Mario Kart on our DSes, and I got respect for having 3 stars already. Still have an old folder on my computer dedicated to that day.

My brother bought our first one at launch. Freakin' awesome console.

I then bought a special edition red console with New Super Mario Bros on clearance a few years ago.

I think our parents bought the console, back when I was still in Mexico.
It was during Christmas we received it. It was pretty fun, as we egged my even my Aunt to play with us, hahahah
