With Google's Pixel smartphone range due for an official reveal later in just a few hours, it seems someone in charge of the official livestream is a Nintendo fan, and got a little bored of the wait.
As spotted on Reddit, with 24 hours to go until the event kicks off, someone flashed this up to those watching early:

It's a pretty on-the-nose reference to the countdown timer used in weirdo N64 classic, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask - and, most likely, is nothing more than a fan showing their appreciation.
Of course, this being the internet, rumours and theories that see far more significance in the screenshot immediately began springing up.
