It's Majora's Mask. I'm quite sure Koji Kondo couldn't have done it better himself. It's way more than a remix

I have listened in full. I approve and endorse the urgency of 'zilla's command.
Obey him. Listen to the video.
If you don't, I'll ban you. Ban you until you're dead.
Ha! Pay for me to upgrade my crappy little dongle, and I'll listen! I'll check it when I can get to a library.
I have been itching, MM has some of my favourite music from the series.
You can also download it here for free or a pay-what-you-want price:

I skimmed through it cause I can't muster the patience to listen to the whole thing. Some good parts. Some so-so parts. Eh.
There's two things I find that really sets this miles above other video game remixes.
For one, this features actual musicians playing actual instruments. Violin, flute, guitar, trumpet, piano, vocals, of course ocarina, and many others. It's a big collaboration that has taken years, and could never have been cooked up digitally. It's not a full orchestra like Nintendo and others have done before, but I think it is a lot better than that. The musicians are good and they're really capturing the mood of the music, something you don't always get with the orchestral tracks imo.
And most importantly, the composition. It neither copies the melodies nor waters them out. The composer has greatly expanded the soundscape and the emotional range of the music, recreating the story in a darker and richer tone. It's certainly a lot more complex than the originals. Other remixes really try, but I've never heard one that reaches this level of skill.
There's an older Majora's Mask remix album by Theophany. It's from 2012 and it's also on Youtube, although a different channel. I'll leave it to those interested to seek it out. It's more melancholy than this one.
That's pretty epic. God I miss that game!
When Time's End has gotten you down, this one helps:

I really enjoyed that first album that was put for free. I think the page for the release of it was pretty cool. It happened before the announce of MM 3D when everybody was riding high on the Nintendo should, and then the page with the countdown for the track release was even mistaken by a few for a Nintendo campaign. I think it is because in a way they kind of mirrored the actual Nintendo campaign for the game when they had their Radio Zelda website with the end of the world. Anyway, that first always definitely left me wanting for more and some of its tracks are now well spread and used around. I know I am in for a treat with this one.
From what I have heard so far, this sounds like a very immersive travel through music into the game. I didn't know it was done mostly with real orchestra, but it really shows when you reach near the middle. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. :D
There used to be a ZREO zelda reorchestrated, they released a non-nintendo sanctioned Twilight Princess cd, they remastered reimagined and performed all the TP songs.
They also did WW and OoT songs, google them you will probably find it

I am pleasantly surprised to learn their website is still up with the music. I remember that when they announced they were closing down the ZREO project everybody was making mirrors and backs up of all the tracks and stuff.
