Yo, I've always wondered who was using Edge. You're the one keeping that browser afloat, eh?

Muppet Christmas Carol is another great one.
Arthur Christmas is also quite good. -
Let's send people to other websites, and trust that they'll come back here eventually.
Here's a subreddit where only wizards are allowed to post: https://www.reddit.com/r/wizardposting/
Here's a website full of figure drawing prompts: https://quickposes.com/en
Here's a neocities site I like called The Squirm Zone: https://squirmzone.neocities.org/

I also agree with Kyde. I don't pre-order almost anything. I even avoid day 1 purchase of anything. I'd rather wait a few months for reviews to work out, and kinks to be resolved. The pre-order bonuses I've seen mostly seem to be stuff I don't actually want (overpowered in-game items, or cheaply made game merch); or it's content cut from the actual game (in which case I don't want to buy the game at all. There's more great games in the world than I'll be able to play in my entire lifetime, why waste time on a game that's gonna jerk me around?)

I always enjoy the mainline Mario games. It's long past time for a new 3D entry, so that'll be great. I'm also really hopeful that we get Mario Maker 3, but Nintendo has generally handled that series so poorly that I kinda suspect they might drop it.
I'm also intrigued by the possibility of more simple Zelda games in the vein of the Link's Awakening remake, or Echoes of Wisdom. I enjoyed both of those a lot.And indies, of course. Lots and lots of indies.

Had it been working before that? I don't think mine has worked in several years actually.
Maybe I just wasn't using it x'D -
Truly they are. I'm just barely starting to feel better now, but I gotta be careful. If I jump to full normal activity too early I'll just make myself sick again. It always happens to me.
Spent most of this morning cleaning up my environment. Things got pretty out of control during the worst of it.

I didn't have any particular plan with the masks, I just tried to figure out what shapes I could make work with the homemade plaster I was using. Eventually I tried adding some structure to them using a wire mesh (that's the big red one in the photo), and that's around the time I lost interest. It'd be fun to get back to one of these days, but now I think I'd be more inclined to make a mask out of wood perhaps.

They've been remaking Ranma1/2? I hadn't heard that. How is it?
I wish I went out and socialized more often. It's a skill I haven't spent enough time developing. I do a lot better about it now than I did a few years ago, but it's still probably the thing that I'm worst at.
What's the best meal you had in the past week?

Thanks! I've been working on my art a lot this past year, and I'm pleased with the results.
Last October I made these gravestones, which I'm also quite fond of.Before that were a few years when I didn't get around to doing any crafts, and before *that* I mostly made masks each year. We didn't get them out, but here's an old photo of them all strung up together:

The people yearn for an escape from social media. The time of forums is coming.

I usually go all out with decorations, but the year has been hectic so we're keeping it low key. Just a few outside decorations this year. My family has also been getting together to watch my partner Morrie play through a spooky game called "Sally Face" each evening. Later in the month we'll probably watch through a bunch of old movies that are vaguely horror or suspense. My sibling is on a Dario Argento kick, so I think we'll seek some of his stuff out this year.
I also like to do a craft each year. This year I'm working on a life size plywood skeleton decoration.

I try not to set those kinds of goals. For myself, I've found they don't tend to engender the kinds of behaviors or attitudes about myself that are helpful to me.
If I want to read more, rather than set a # of books as my goal, I'll make a point to set aside more time each day/week for reading.
If I want to read a different kind of book than I normally do (more nonfiction, for example), I'll make a point to include it in my book stack. I've got a standing rule that once I make my stack, I read the books in it one after another, without shuffling the order around at all.
That's what ends up working for me. I do like tracking the books I've already read though! I read about 40 in 2024. Mostly fiction, but I'm working more nonfiction in.

This forum software sure does have a boatload of features!

I got through most of the game before I met the great fairy. It's wayyyyy more fun once you're able to mix and match different accessories.
In the end I think my playthrough was pretty thorough. I'd have loved if there were some post-game challenges, à la most modern mario games. I know I'm playing a game made for children, and that's fine, but it's nice if there's *something* in there for me to struggle against.

This incarnation of Zelda Cavern had its impact on me, for sure. Those really active years of 2015~2016 were a time when I was disconnected from a lot of my traditional social outlets, and having people to chat with here was lovely.
Like you said, TSR and ToH loom large for me. I could talk about them forever, but I think I'll leave it at what you said.
Other boards that impacted me were "Warteen's Final Fantasy iii Message Board," which I actually just visited yesterday. It's still kicking around, haha. There was also a fan forum for the webcomic "Dominic Deegan" which I had some great times on.
I miss small communities. It's hard to keep them going, but they're so vital.
