    Gameboy Colour.

Originality, colour and a gigantic gap between Pocket and Advance.

How was it original? The design was close to the old Gameboy Pocket, and all that was added was color. The Sega GameGear had color before that... Heck, even that Atari handheld had color display. (They both sucked batteries empty in no time, though).

Anyway, I prefer the Gameboy Advance. Now THAT was a leap in technology, a 32 bit handheld. It had great games like Metroid Fusion and LoZ: The Minish Cap. A true (although still quite young) classic :)

Welcome to the forum Sarah. I see you've been introduced properly already :P
Well, since everyone's doing it, here's some info about me.

My real name is Maarten, although I would prefer if people would call me B?ta :P Maarten sounds so silly in English... I'm currently 18 years old and have a variety of interests. Of course gaming is one of them, but I also like some anime/manga and, of course, Zelda. I go to some forums, mostly under different usernames. I'm an easygoing person and I never really lose my temper.

    Enjoy your stay here :)

As for your snippy comnents about the Capt'n, I think it's morally unjust. I haven't been here for a long period of time, and he can be a poor admin as far as I know, but he doesn't seem too bad at all. Just give him a chance to prove himself a worthy admin. You never really approved me as s.mod on ZD, but I didn't turn out so bad...Or did I? >_>

Look at all the bold parts, Cap'n. Or are you just blatantly ignoring them?

and he can be a poor admin as far as I know. but he doesn't seem too bad at all.

Please take note that those two sentences contradict each other. It might be an error in Ichigo's grammar. Maybe it was meant to look like this:

and he can be a poor admin for all I know. but he doesn't seem too bad at all.

But only Ichigo can clarify that. This is mere speculation after all.

[...]It describes what one should already know, but is no vice when not knowing. Take a specific look at the speech paragraph in the writing tutorial. I bet not everybody knew what is being told here. I still find myself making mistakes on this part as well. Grammar, paragraph's, punctuation, tenses. It's all in the basics of the language you are writing your epic in. Doing this stuff wrong is the first issue that should be taken care of. It is what will immediatly be catched by the reader's eye and can seriously spoil the experience you want to create.[...]

    *immediately :P

Just pulling your leg :tingle: Anyway, very nice post! Do you write stories yourself? Just wondering... Because I don't. Not that I don't like writing, don't get me wrong I love reading and stuff. But it's a bit of a hassle, if you get what I mean.

Anyway, I nominate this thread for a 'sticky'! (Unless there are any objections, which I honestly don't think so) Surely it will aid some of our fanfic writers here! Can't wait to read more of your tips!

Guys, don't bump old threads... The OT creator has been deleted, geez.

I know this isn't my section. But please, just look at the post dates... Thank you.

I've had the same problem lately. I really wanted to finish OoT again, it had been a while since I last played it. But I just couldn't force myself to finish it. To be honest, it felt more like a nuisance. I started thinking: "Ah, come on, not Jabu Jabu's Belly again...". Of course I had finished the game like 30 times already, so that also played a part in it. I just stopped playing it and started playing some different games.

My advice would be to play some different games every once in a while. After a few months you could try beating Zelda again. It's like CC said, when you're beating the same game over and over again it's bound to get boring.

Also, if you really want to know a difficult game, try Contra 4 for the DS. That game is just INSANE!111!

Definitely Malo. I mean, come on, he's a kid who acts like an adult! How cool is that? The postman is also a classic, so is Tingle.

Nah, just pulling your leg. I like Midna as well. Her character development was just excellent. The worst character would have to be Navi. Sorry, but I just can't stand her. It's partly the voice, the attitude and her appearance that annoy me.
