Darkrai Darkurai: Entries of a Dark Heart

Stay tuned for tomorrow's, though -- That'll be a pretty big one...))

    The Final Step...

    ...
    ...

The Boy has won his seventh Gym Badge. All that remains now is the eighth. The infamous Clair, a Dragon Trainer, much like Lance himself... In fact, the two of them are cousins... After this, the Boy will undoubtably head to the land of Hoenn...

This will be an interesting match. I eagerly await to hear how the Boy fairs... because, in order to gain his Badge, just defeating this Gym Leader is only step one in Clair's process...

    The Old vs. The New...

    ...
    ...

    He has done it.
The Boy has accomplished his mission... He has gathered all eight Gym Badges from the land of Johto. Not only that, he also managed to conquer the eight Gym Leader's Task. It was to retrieve a Dragon Scale from a sacred cave. It normally takes days for one to seek and find it, even with enough motivation... but the Child found it the very night he went in there...

I recall mentioning earlier that the Boy was supposedly going to the land of Sinnoh, to embark on a new quest for glory. But, I was wrong...

After defeating Clair, he was granted access to the Johto and Kanto regions' secret hotspot for Champion Trainers: Mt. Silver. The cave itself is not very impressive, but it stands as a margin between the lands of Johto and Kanto. This mountain was created during ancient times... when the two lands fused into one.

The Boy seemed to have known he wanted to go there from the start, and it wasn't the mountain he was interested in...

This is all from the mouths of my Messengers. And what I say... has not been modified in the least.

Taking along with him his loyal Charizard, his now-evolved Feraligatr, the ailing Steelix, the playful Bellossom, and even the Genetic Being Mewtwo, the Boy tackled the cave and easily reached the summit.
And it was only by the words of Kanto's eighth Gym Leader that he was able to find... the long-lost secret of Mt. Silver.

Standing before the Boy as the mountain's reigning resident, the legendary Champion of Kanto... the one whom the Boy broke the record of, the very same Champion whom defeated Kanto's new eighth Gym Leader and took his title away in just mere hours... requested a battle from this new blood of a Trainer.

    The Child accepted.

The legendary Champion sent out a Snorlax.
The Boy sent out his Feraligatr.

The Champion was first to strike. His Snorlax used an attack foreign to the Boy -- Yawn. It didn't seem to do anything in the Boy's eyes...
The Feraligatr did not hesitate. By its Trainer's command, it executed an Ice Beam. And, by sheer luck, it managed to freeze the Snorlax... even if Snorlax did have the Thick Fat ability.
On the next turn, the Snorlax remained frozen.
Thus, the Child had his Feraligatr strike once more. It used a Surf, and it seemed to do a fair amount of damage as the frozen Snorlax appeared more groggy. This were looking up for them at the moment... that is, until Yawn took effect. Feraligatr stumbled around, and fell to the ground, sleeping.
As if he had been waiting for this moment, the Snorlax thawed from the ice as if it had not been frozen at all. And, by its Trainer's command, it unleashed another attack foreign to the Boy: Giga Impact.
The damage dealt was not only enough to awaken the Feraligatr... it also fainted it...

In response to the Snorlax, the Boy sent out another Pokemon: his faithful Charizard.
The Snorlax did not move on its turn. It seemed to be recharging its energies...
The Charizard, however, blew out wickedly hot flames, and it was enough to bring down the behemoth bear in one go. Feraligatr's sacrifice was not in vain...

In response to the Boy's Charizard, the Champion sent out his own. A Charizard.

The two dragons were matched in terms of speed and skill. But one thing stood out that made the two different: the Boy's Charizard was limited in the moves it knew. The old Champion's, however, knew moves not even the Boy had heard of.
And it was this advantage the old Champion used.
In the end, the Boy's Charizard was struck down by the Champion's Charizard's Air Slash, but not without inflicting a decent amount of damage itself...

In response to the Champion's Charizard, the Boy made a surprising move: He sent out his old Steelix.
The Champion must have been overconfident... He used a Flamethrower.
The Steelix managed to outmaneuver the Flamethrower by a Dig... and when it emerged, it executed a hasty Rock Slide. But, in the first turn, how had it gone last... and in the second, gone first? Then the Champion noticed the item the Steelix was holding: Quick Claw.
Back when the Boy had entered the Bug Catching Contest, and won the Sun Stone so to evolve his Gloom, previously he had received an item from a spectator sitting on the benches. It was Quick Claw...

In response to the old Steelix, the Champion sent out a powerful Blastoise.
The item's effect activating once more, the Steelix was first to go. It used a powerful Earthquake attack, and the Blastoise was knocked clean off its feet.
When it landed, it did as its Trainer commanded: a Hydro Cannon. And it managed to hit Steelix head-on...
However, as the Steelix recovered from the move (though seemingly greatly impacted), it managed to counterattack with a move of its own... A move the Boy had never seen, yet the Steelix had known throughout its old life. Thunder Fang.
And it hit not once, but twice, as the Blastoise had to rest a turn after its powerful Water attack... It was taken down the following turn as it recharged...

Surprised, the Champion sent out another powerful Pokemon in response to the overwhelming Steelix: Venusaur.
The Venusaur went first. It stood around for a moment, seemingly doing nothing. Then, the sun's rays began to intensify...
Sensing what he may be trying to do, the Boy had his Steelix Dig.
The next turn, the Steelix's Quick Claw took effect. It managed to draw in close and use an effective Dig, and also pull off an Iron Tail in the process.
But in that turn, the Venusaur seared the Steelix with a powerful Solarbeam attack... However, the move was indirect, and only slightly harmed the metal snake.
Then, once again, the metal giant surprised the Boy once more by using another move he didn't know it had: Fire Fang. Due to the sun's newly unlocked rays, the Fire power was nearly doubled, and took a large amount of damage from the Venusaur. Once again, though, the grass Pokemon attacked with a Solarbeam... However, the Steelix dug underground.
The Champion counterattacked this. He had his Venusaur pull off another devastating move: Frenzy Plant. Vines whipped out from the sides of the grass Pokemon, and began to dig into the ground like restless worms... Somehow, they found their digging target... There was an explosion from beneath the earth, and the Steelix was brought forth, struck down...
...but not out. Just when the Boy was about to withdraw, the Quick Claw took effect, and the Steelix pulled off his finishing move: Ice Fang. The Venusaur went down, and the Steelix stood straight and proud once more...

The tide had now turned. Now the Boy had the advantage over the field... or so he thought...

  • The Champion sent out a whimsical Espeon, and the battle raged on.
The Espeon went first... It gained the stats in its Defense by executing a Reflect.
The Steelix then used a Crunch attack, but the Espeon managed to avoid it... It was surprisingly quick.
Then the Espeon unleashed a great Psychic attack, and the Steelix was brought down to its knees at last... The Boy withdrew, thanking his partner.

In response to the new threat that was Espeon, the Boy sent out his enthusiastic Bellossom, whom took to the battle field... There was one thing the Champion seemed to have overlooked, and the Boy would take advantage of this...
Somehow, the Bellossom went first. It cloaked the field in a green powder, and in that turn the Espeon... fell asleep. It was the move Sleep Powder, and it worked like a charm... The Espeon was still unable to move.
Using whatever turns he may have had left, the Boy had his Bellossom use a Solarbeam... which it used in the same turn.
The Sunny Day, activated by the Champion's Venusaur, was still in effect from earlier, and it was by this the Solarbeam was instantly charged, and why the Bellossom was now dominant in speed... Chlorophyll, an ability that doubles one's speed when the sun's rays are intensified.
The Solarbeam was a direct hit, but the Espeon wasn't through yet. It managed to bring itself out of sleep, and counter with... tears? Yes, the Espeon began to weep. But not out of pain or because it was losing...
Not falling for this trick, the Boy had his Bellossom use another Solarbeam, and it did just that. It managed to take a decent amount, even if the Espeon managed to dodge part of it... Then the sun's rays began to fade...
Espeon in turn used a Psychic attack. It played with the Bellossom in the air, then threw it back down to the ground with tremendous force. This move... seemed to do more damage than the Boy anticipated. That was because the move Espeon had used earlier was Fake Tears... It lowers one's Special Defense drastically...
With the sunlight gone, Bellossom was on the ropes. The Espeon did not hesitate. It created a Shadow Ball, and flung it towards the Bellossom. However, the Bellossom was somehow able to counter, only being injured by the Shadow Ball's aftermath explosion.
The Boy had Bellossom use another powerful technique: Petal Dance. The first turn, it missed, and Espeon countered with another Shadow Ball. However, the twirling of the Bellossom due to this musicless dance deflected the Shadow Ball... and it was this surprising counter that the second Petal Dance was able to lay a direct hit. The Espeon staggered for a bit before falling to the ground, fainted...
The Bellossom, now finished with her Petal Dance, was now confused...

With his last Pokemon standing by him this entire battle, the Champion sent it forth: a Pikachu.
The Pikachu seemed to have a slight disadvantage. It was of the Electric type, as Bellossom was of the Grass. Electric attacks wouldn't do much here... but the Champion didn't seem to mind, as he hadn't forgotten something.
The Pikachu went first. It began to charge up energy... a move known as Charge, where one's electric powers are intensified...
The Bellossom was confused, but managed to use a move known as Leech Seed. However, the Pikachu was fast... too fast for the Bellossom, and easily evaded it.
Then in the next turn, it struck down the Bellossom in one blow. Having its Electric attacks amplified, and Bellossom's Special Defense harshly lowered by Fake Tears, the Pikachu used an unpredictably powerful Thunder...

With both Trainers down to their last Pokemon, it was up to the Boy's final to take to the field and win this...
Mewtwo was sent forth. Waking from its meditative state, the Genetic Being looked into the eyes of the Champion. And the both of them froze...

Years ago, as it was told to me, when the Genetic One was being brought into life, a Boy... whom started from Pallet Town, much like the Child with Mewtwo... set forth with his Pikachu to become the world's greatest Pokemon Master. However, in this time Team Rocket was a powerful, seemingly unstoppable organization, and had Kanto in its grasp.
But this did not discourage the Boy in the least. He set forth and, with the help of his Pikachu, Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Espeon and Snorlax, toppled the organization that was Team Rocket, and even silencing their leader, Giovanni... and in that time, the Boy came to discover their horrifying secret. Mewtwo. He found the clone being created on an island known as Cinnabar. As it was contained, the Boy released it... and the Genetic One locked eyes with his savior...

Now, years later, they meet again... only the circumstances are quite different. Would this biased view on the Trainer whom saved him have Mewtwo disobey his new master?

    The battle commenced once more.
The Pikachu was first to go. It let out a decent Quick Attack, but Mewtwo easily avoided it. Then, by the Boy's command, he unleashed an unspeakably powerful Psychic attack... and just like that, the battle ended. The Pikachu had been taken down in one powerful blow...

The old Champion sighed, picked up his Pikachu, and for the first time in many years since his old title as Champion... he smiled. At long last, he had been defeated. Not only by the hands of a more worthy successor to his title, but by the very Pokemon he had saved those years ago.
Mewtwo understood that this Champion may have saved him years ago, but that would not move him into losing the battle just because of it... That, he said, would have been unjust and selfish to his new Trainer.

The two generations of Champion shook hands, and the battle came to its closing...

Now, I receive word that the Boy is heading towards Hoenn, just as I had predicted. A new adventure awaits him there...

And I have a feeling that new Teams will emerge from their hiding places to greet him once he arrives there.

    Until then...

    Another Journey...

    ...
    ...

From what I hear, the Boy has already embarked on his trek across the land of Hoenn. With him, he has a new companion. A rebellious Treecko he received from the town Littleroot.

Currently, his entire previous party... consisting of Mewtwo, Bellossom, Steelix, Charizard and Feraligatr... has been trimmed. He only has his Charizard now, accompanied by the new partner Treecko.

Team Magma and Team Aqua, the ones whom reside in the land of Hoenn, have not stirred since the Boy's landing there. It only makes us all wonder...

    An Unfortunate Truth...

    ...
    ...

My master Arceus has been very restless as of late. Word has it He has been visiting the Oracle, Uxie, more and more frequently... Could he also be keeping an eye on the Boy?

Speaking of him... that Child... I have received grave news about one of the Boy's Pokemon.
    It is the Steelix.

Whence departing Johto and leaving behind his Steelix and other team members with the exception of the Charizard, Professor Oak of Pallet had them transferred to his lab... where he discovered that the old Steelix was dying. Apparently, the battle it had with the ex-Champion of Kanto wore it out so much that it overworked itself to the point of death. However, it doesn't seem to know it, and is slowly drifting away unknowingly...
Professor Oak sent this news to the Boy, and along with this grave news the Pokeball with the Steelix. The Professor said that it was best the Steelix enjoy its last few weeks... possibly even days... with a Trainer it has found deserving of its power and trust.
This happened just before the Boy's first Gym Battle, held yester-day...

If I heard right, the Boy used only his Steelix to battle the Gym Leader there, Roxanne. The Steelix was not tired, not weak, during that battle... It held its own, as if it had never aged a year. And when the battle was through, and the Boy withdrew his trusted Steelix, thanking the old thing, he broke down in tears in Roxanne's arms...

What... is it that connects a Trainer to a Pokemon so? The Boy only had the old steel snake for so long... yet they have bonded as if they had been together for years. Is it the trials they go through? Every battle, every win, and every loss...
    What is it?

    What is it...

    September 8, 2008 - Monday -- 2 days after the Unfortunate Truth

    Watching... Waiting...

    ...
    ...

Once more, news surrounds the Boy. In the Pokecommunity, discussions and gossip flood in about him as if he were an idol... It is sickening...

I no longer keep an ear out for such gossip and rumors. None of his gym battles, though I overheard he has cleared two, and no more of his captures... I know listen to... more important news.
Team Magma and Team Aqua have resurfaced... or so it has been said. They, like Team Rocket before them, are monitoring the Boy as if he were a virus in their database. They are now aware of the power he possesses... and that he could be a threat to them.
But, as it has been said to me, they need two of the Trinity so to bring the Boy to his knees... one of which has already been captured and sent to the Cipher Organization... And with them, they will conquer Sinnoh, and as a bonus will have the weather under their command. It could mean the end of civilization...

In due time, the Boy will most likely rise up to the oppressors of Team Aqua and Magma. But will his efforts against these two powerhouse organizations be enough?
The Boy may seem invincible... but he is still a Trainer, and a young one... I still doubt any battling capabilities he may have. He has yet to face... the strongest of uprisings...
One that may go down in history... for all eternity.

    September 9, 2008 - Tuesday

    Odds...

    ...
    ...

News is beginning to spread on the works of Team Aqua and Team Magma once more... Messengers have noticed activity around two of Hoenn's major landmarks: Mt. Chimney, where Team Magma is said to reside; and just East of the city of Lilycove, where Team Aqua resides. Both Teams are working individually... yet both have one goal in mind... The end of this World...

Ah, yes... As I listen for news of these Teams' works, so do I continue to keep my attention on the works of the Boy...
I may have said before that I would no longer say of his doings... but, finally, the hype surrounding him is beginning to die, as everyone's attention is being brought to the Aqua and Magma teams...
Apparently, the Child has defeated his fourth Gym Leader, and is currently retracing his steps... to his fifth Gym Battle, in the city of Petalburg, a place very close to where the Boy began his journey in Hoenn. Such an odd way to assemble the Gyms there... I cannot understand the way these Trainers think. Foolish creatures...
The Boy's Treecko is, surprisingly, already a Sceptile. He has used the thing very frequently in battle, so I am told. Currently, he also has a slow-minded Lombre, a finicky Swablu, and a calm Absol... Absol... I have always had a liking for that species of Creature.
The condition of the Boy's Charizard remains the same, healthy, vibrant and bold... as does the Steelix's... Ailing. Dying. Yet, it does not give in to the pressures of time. Somehow, it holds on... but only it knows how many threads are left before it falls, as many have done before it.
The will of it... is as powerful as the Boy's.

It will only make parting... more heartbreaking for that Child...

    Farewell.

    September 10, 2008 - Wednesday

    ...And Ends

    ...
    ...

He has yet again shown himself worthy of the title "Speed Demon," as the Boy has conquered his fifth Gym Leader. It is remarkable... not only his talent in battling, but also his speed... I still cannot understand why he is being so hasty. It could be because he is only a Child...
    But then...
There may be a deeper reason... behind these actions.

He is currently heading far North, to the city of Fortree, for his next Badge... His Lotad has evolved into the ever-vibrant Ludicolo... and his Swablu, into the ever-humming Altaria. Even his Pokemon seem to be... moving quickly...

Team Aqua and Team Magma continue their activities in their respective residences. No news has been leaked on what they do... only that they are up to something.

I can only guess... it deals with Groudon and Kyogre of the Trinity...
And a legend long passed... about the only items to tame them. The Red and Blue Orbs.

    But that... is another story.

    Until then...

    To a New Paradise...

    ...
    ...

After a long, wonderous Night of NightMares, and once again confronting my evasive Mortal Enemy Cresselia... I arrive home to see my personal Messengers awaiting me. It is not often they are there to greet me from one of my normal routines...

I could not help but notice... the look on Cresselia's face as She, once again, foiled a challenge of mine.
It was a look of despair...
    A look of sadness...

From what I hear, the Boy was only several miles from the city of Fortree, where he would face Gym Leader Winona... However, he decided to camp out as the Night drew in close... He sent out all his Pokemon, and the six of them... the Boy, the Charizard, the Altaria, the Ludicolo, the Absol, and even the old Steelix... slept under the stars.
The Boy told them tales of his childhood, and to his Pokemon (with the exception of his Charizard) what his adventures were in the lands of Kanto and Johto. He even confessed how he had always dreamed of becoming the greatest Pokemon Master the World had ever known... to prove to them that he was more than just a boy with wild dreams. Everyone he had known had doubted him... one of his closest friends back home in Pallet, whom says that her name is Green... his teachers, all his friends from the school he attended... But not his mother. She would encourage him, even help him during the times he doubted himself. She was the only one to believe in him... and he says because of this, he will never judge others in such a manner as all his friends and instructors did him. Not one person, not one Pokemon... even the ones beside him under the spacious night sky.
He told each individual Pokemon in his party how they meant to him... Charizard, of course, was his most loyal companion, and he loved the Creature beyond words for always being by him... the Absol, he has grown a great respect for, as it has gotten him out of tight battles with random Trainers... the Altaria, for always being so cheery even when times were tough... the Ludicolo, just for being jumpy and content with his new life, and for putting on a dancing show when things were dull... and, finally, the old Steelix. He said how he was very proud of it for being such a close partner... and how, in his eyes, he would always be the greatest leader and Steelix he had ever known...

As of yester-night, that same night he camped out... the Boy's Steelix passed away in its slumber, beside the Trainer it so loved.
And, if my ears did not fool me... there was a grin on its face. A grin that spoke years' worth of trials, accomplishments, failures... and of the new life that had been given to it, during the most challenging time in its life.

As of this morning, the Steelix was taken... in its Pokeball... back to the land of Kanto, where it would be buried in Lavender Town's Pokemon Tower... where Creatures that have lived long, bountiful lives are forever put to rest.

When such an event occurs... there is a moment of silence for all Pokemon across the World. We are all connected... and, as it is such, we honor those who have left us, as they go to a place where so many can only dream of going to one day.
Even I, the Prince of Darkness, have a code I cannot go against...

    Slumber well, honorable Steelix.

    Slumber well...

    The Weather’s Lament...

    ...
    ...

Several days have passed since the passing of the Boy's aged Steelix. And in that time... much has changed.

Word has spread that the Teams Aqua and Magma have received an extraordinary "package" from the land of Orre. Whatever was contained is not yet known...

Aqua and Magma have in their hands the Red and Blue orbs, as I predicted... They have awakened Groudon and Kyogre, and the two legendary creatures of the world's birth have been captured and sedated somewhere in the Hoenn region... Many speculate near a small, supposedly uninhabited place to the South called Southern Island, where a colony of Latios and Latias once resided before moving more towards the Johto region... to the city of Altomare.

But why is this so important... the taking of the Trinity?

The weather... is already beginning to suffer.
The news in Hoenn has spread... The rain is continually downpouring towards the South, yet the sun is baking the North. Both elements intertwined cause an abnormality in the atmosphere... both heating and cooling the Earth, slowly destroying it from the outside-in...
Rumor has it that Steven Stone of Hoenn, one of the most powerful Trainers in this modern age, is looking for the perpetrators behind these strange weather effects...

The Boy has defeated all the Gym Leaders by this time, and has become the Champion of Hoenn. He has broken yet another record for this speed of his... Only being accompanied by his Charizard, Altaria, Ludicolo, Absol and his returning partner Mewtwo.
In the past, he has helped bring down Team Rocket by the side of Lance of Kanto. But... with the death of his Steelix, will this Child want to do anything with this hostile takeover? And even if he did have Steven Stone by his side... how would he fair against two Teams?

This... is going to be interesting... The fate of Hoenn, and quite possibly the world, lies in the hands of the Child once more.

    Hoenn’s Demise...

    ...
    ...

Several days have passed... I have not been able to make contact for some time, due to some recent... and unfortunate... events.

The rain here... It continues to fall.
And the sun's rays bake me, even behind the shade of the trees on my Newmooon.
Sinnoh is no longer safe. The planet... is no longer safe.

Team Aqua and Magma lost control of Groudon and Kyogre of the Trinity. As they were experimenting with the two Creatures, the Red and Blue orbs they used suddenly became powerless... Many speculate this could be due to the hands of my Master.
As time passed, Groudon and Kyogre destroyed the bases of Aqua and Magma, and the two Teams haven't been heard from since.

And it was then when the bases were destroyed... that a new, more powerful threat was unleashed.

    Rayquaza.
Or, rather... a demonic beast resembling that great dragon. This "Rayquaza" is not green, but instead cloaked in a dark lavender... and its eyes are a blood-red. No life. No meaning. Just pure malice... much like mine... or even more so...

This "shadow" Creature, as we have dubbed it, was unveiled as soon as Team Aqua's base of operations was demolished at the hands of Kyogre. The shadow Creature... was contained in a box. The very box the Teams had received from Orre.
Upon releasing it, this purple Rayquaza began its assalt on the land of Hoenn.
And instead of confronting the purple beast, both Kyogre and Groudon set their eyes upon one another, and their lifelong feud was resparked. The two have been fighting for days now... and Rayquaza continues its relentless destruction, under pouring rain, under the baking sun. The weather, too, now seems to be going against the World...
It has been said... that over fifty percent of Hoenn has been reduced to rubble. The major cities of Rustboro, Mauville and Lilycove have been devastated, and the smaller towns of Verdanturf, Littleroot, Oldale and Dewford have been wiped off the charts. Nothing can stop the three tyrants of destruction from discontinuing their carnage on Hoenn. My Master refuses to have anything to do with this... He says that if He were to get involved, He would have no choice but to destroy the Trinity...

There is nothing anyone can do now. Even Steven Stone and Lance together were not enough to bring down the Trinity.
But what has become of... the Boy? Since Rayquaza's reawakening as this shadow beast, I have not heard word of him. He could not have gone into hiding as a coward... or already set off to another adventure... This temptation would be too much, to save a continent of Trainers and Insignificants.

    Where... is that Boy?

    The Savior Arises...

    ...
    ...

As I am about to embark on yet another one of my daily routines to-night... the rain, and the heat, suddenly vanish. A cool wind... a wind of change... finally blows over my island, and peace... once again reigns.

Word quickly arrives about what has happened.

As Hoenn was being brought to its knees before the might of Groudon, Kyogre and the shadow Rayquaza, a ray of hope finally shone over the horizon... It was the Boy.
It seems that he had gone back to the land of Johto... There, he found a remote island and captured two Pokemon he knew could help him against the threat that was once Team Aqua and Magma.
He had captured Brother Latios and Sister Latias, two dragons that, when holding the rare item Soul Dew, could overcome anything together.

With the duo by his side, he traveled back to Hoenn... to find it completely devastated.
However, before he set to work, he trekked across the wrecked lands... and managed to find a trio of Pokemon whom had also been awakened due to the commotion. Regirock, Regice and Registeel. The three, as they had individually encountered and suffered defeats by the hands of Groudon, Kyogre and Rayquaza, were easily captured...

Finally, the time came when the Boy himself ran into whom he was looking for first. The feuding Groudon and Kyogre. Sending out his current party that was Charizard, Mewtwo, Brother Latios and Sister Latias, they set out and finally settled down the two beasts... and the Boy captured them.
    He... captured... them...

But this victory was short-lived, as in the skies flew down a familiar and deadly face... Rayquaza. Or, rather, the shadow beast.

The Boy did not hesitate. Using his two newly-caught Pokemon, Groudon and Kyogre, along with his Charizard, Mewtwo, and the Twin Dragons, Rayquaza was shot out of the skies and... finally... stopped. Upon doing so, the Boy also caught it...

This... is improbable, impossible... How is it that... a mere Boy could bring down the Trinity, when both Trainers Steven Stone and Lance were unable to do so...

What blessing has been bestowed on this Child? What kind of Trainer is he, to so easily take the burden of bringing down the enraged Trinity... and win?
This kind of... luck... this kind of blessing... is unheard of. In all my years that I have lived, never... NEVER... have I so much as come across a more fortunate Trainer as this one.

I will be keeping a closer ear out for his feats, now that he has tamed the Trinity...

    But what of Rayquaza?

The Wishmaker, the Space Virus, and the Ultimate Creation...

    ...
    ...

Several days have passed yet again. Time flows by me... so quickly now...

As it is such, the Boy has left his mark on Hoenn, and has been praised as their Savior.
Before he left, however, the Boy retraced his steps across the land... and, in the process, captured the Wishmaker, Jirachi. Jirachi normally sleeps for a thousand years before reawakening... but this time, it was different. Jirachi heard Mother Nature calling to it... as it was being torn to pieces at the hands of Kyogre, Groudon, and Rayquaza... As a result, the Wishmaker emerged from its sleep, and went to execute proper justice. However, by this time, the Boy had already defeated the Trinity... As a result, the Child met up with the Wishmaker, and acknowledging him as Hoenn's Savior, Jirachi joined him...

Deoxys, too, has found favor in this Child.
Living on a remote island known as Birth Island, Deoxys sensed the hostility of the Trinity and had also gone to quell their fighting... But, as it was, the Boy reached the trio first, and after capturing Jirachi, he met with the space virus... whom also wished to join his team.

And, finally, there is another. One whom I would have never guessed would ever want to join the likes of a Trainer.
    Mew.
Residing on an island known as Faraway, Mew was unsettled by the destruction of the Trinity, and as a result went to also cease their destructive ways.
However, upon reaching there, Mew caught sight of the Boy fighting... with Mewtwo.
By battle's end, the Mew followed along in secret, intrigued not only in the Boy's battling proess... but in the Genetic One.
Some time later, after Jirachi's and Deoxys's captures, Mew revealed itself to the Trainer... an action unheard of by any Mew. And, like Jirachi and Deoxys before it, Mew joined the Boy's steadily growing team.

One by one... the Legends begin to fall. Fall into the power-hungry hands of that Child, like an oblivious Mothim to a lightbulb.
But what does this Boy really want? He has saved three continents as it is... Does he want fame? Glory? Power? What is it he wants from Us? Does he want to have in his hands the most powerful of Pokemon...

Or is he merely... playing the part of a Trainer?

    ...

I have been feeling... very uninspired as of late. I am not sure why. Perhaps it has something to do with... other events that have sprung up in the World.

The Boy has reached the continent of Orre, where a mighty volcano dubbed Mt. Battle stands. It is a literal hotspot for Trainers itching to test their skills against one hundred others, where if you fail somewhere between that one to a hundred, you must start from the beginning. It is very similar to a Pokemon League...

However, my concerns lie not with Mt. Battle, but with... the Cipher Organization. It has been confirmed that Orre is where they are residing, and where they keep captive the Legendary Beasts, Legendary Birds and Lugia. They have not been heard from for... a long time now.
Speaking of that pitiful group, once the Boy reached inland... he was given a message from a Messenger of the Trainers... I think they call them "mailmen." The letter was from an anonymous person, whom expressed his or her wishes very clearly.
If I recall, it went as so:

    "Dear Boy,
Welcome to the land of Orre, where many hidden riches lie.

I have sent this letter to inform you that your kind is not welcome here. You have been shattering the good name of our companies, and are steadily ruining our plans.
You are being monitored, even as you read this. Every step you make, every action. It will be jotted down and kept record of.

Before I get ahead of myself, let me name a few rules for you to follow:

    1) If you see us, you have nothing to do with us. Move along.
    2) If you hear of us, ignore it.
    3) Don't try to be a hero. If you do, you will be slaughtered on the spot by the most elite members of our program. Just because you are a child does not mean we will show any mercy to the likes of you.

If you do not comply to any of the rules stated above, your mother will... Let me just say that she will be very unpleasant for the rest of her life, as will the others you know in your little private world of Pallet Town.
We know of all your victories, and we know of all the places you've been. We know everything about you.

So please, do back off and let us continue our work in peace.

With great sincerity, I wish you a good time here."

...Those... FOOLS... anger me so. To send something like this. They are nothing but cowards... I believe this person is bluffing, whomever it is. Why would a major industry such as Cipher do something so irrelevant?
If I had the will of freedom, I would certainly...

...I would do nothing. It is none of my concern. I am the Prince of Darkness... Whatever this Boy goes through, I could care little of...

    ...
    I bid thee farewell.

    Orre?s Cry...

    ...
    ...

It has only been a day since that letter was sent to the Boy... and already, the Cipher Organizatoin has set into motion.

There have been numerous reports across the land about Trainers whom are being robbed of their Pokemon, being taken away by other Trainers cloaked in darkness... Where they have taken them, none know.

The Boy... has not taken any action to this. He has disregarded the people's pleas so to help them. The message he received has left him... unmoved... He only wishes to take on Mt. Battle. Nothing more.
It has been said that even his mother is concerned about his behavior. She has said he loves to take on challenges, even if they were very risky... Him ignoring such a challenge is very unusual. He does not explain to her what troubles him.

Those... fiends... think they have brought the Boy to his knees. But I have seen what this Boy can do. He has something in mind... There is no doubt about that. But, if he takes action... will the consequences be too heavy of a toll?

    The Shadows...

    ...
    ...

As time continues to press forward, so does the organization that is Cipher.
It has been clarified by witnesses that the Pokemon they have stolen... have now become ruthless killing machines, known as Shadow Pokemon. From what it is said, Shadow Pokemon's hearts are closed from the likes of kindness, though it has been said if enough kindness is shown, the Pokemon will return to their senses. This is the only flaw in their design as unstoppable beasts.

This is what happened to Rayquaza... only his heart has been permanently sealed shut, or so it is said. He is one of two experiments Cipher has tested... and managed to forever seal his heart.
It is... even darker than mine...

The Boy is midway in his Mt. Battle challenge, so I've been told. He continues to ignore the troubles surrounding him with a heavy heart... I cannot help but feel for this child. His life has been threatened... but what can he do to counter... when the ones he loves are so far away from his reach?

As of now, Orre has been taken over by the Cipher Organization. In the city of Phenac, a lush oasis in the middle of a vast desert, the mayor of that city is been acting... very suspiciously as of late. Even the older residents of that town have noticed he has been disappearing more and more frequently.
I am sure these events are best kept in mind...

    The Forgotten Team...

    ...
    ...

The Boy has finished his Mt. Battle challenge as of this morning... and not a moment too soon.

A counterattack against the Cipher Organization has been formed, being led... by the very Trainer whom rescued Ho-oh. The Trainer's name is Wes, and at his side he brings along a powerful man named Gonzap... whom runs a team of his own. They are called Team Snagem.

They were the prototype of Cipher, designed to carry out secret Shadow Pokemon missions. They would capture Pokemon found commonly in the Orre region, and do their experiments on them with the Shadow Technology. Cipher funded the project... and Team Snagem succeeded in making the first Shadow Pokemon.
However, Team Snagem became corrupt with their power, and tried to overthrow Cipher. They failed, and were excommunicated from the group. At the same time, Team Snagem lost their "rights" to the Shadow Technology, and Cipher gladly became the new owners of it... Since then, Team Snagem has remained silent, vigilantly watching, patiently waiting for the moment to execute their long-awaited revenge against those whom they trusted...

Two special items, called Snag Machines -- one large, one very small -- were made shortly after the two organizations parted. Cipher funded the Snag Machines themselves... They were going to be used to capture Trainer's Pokemon, then manipulate those Pokemon and make them into heartless Shadow Creatures.
However, by the time the large and small Snag Machines were completed... one of Cipher's own members, actually an undercover member from Team Snagem... Wes... destroyed the large Snag Machine and stole the smaller one. In the process, he freed the Rainbow Phoenix...

It is said that originally, Team Snagem was supposed to be on the list with Team Rocket, Team Aqua and Magma, Cipher, Team Go-Rock Squad, and Team Galactic. However, due to their idleness and feud with Cipher, they rejected the offer... Now they have begun a takeover of their own... but not against their own people.

Rumor now has it that Team Snagem has given the Boy the opportunity to strike back as well... He is currently heading towards Realgam Tower, a place quite similar to Mt. Battle, only battles here are executed more quickly and efficiently in a tournament-type style.
The Boy is not alone on his journey there. He is being accompanied by none other than Wes... and, far above him, the Sacred Bird, Ho-oh.

What could possibly await him there, not even I know...

    {Next up: The rest of the plot.}

  • I wish Darkrai would show more into the story. :/

((Heh, thing is, he's not with the Boy. He's only passing on the word he's hearing from the Messengers, not at the exact sites himself. :P ))

Now... for the rest of the plot. Hopefully, I don't overlook anything.
The format I'm using... Every dash ( - ) starting at each point would have been either an entry, or something I found worth mentioning that may or may not have had an entry to itself (I may mention the child capturing -Zapdos, then -Moltres on two different bullets, but that doesn't mean he caught them on two separate entries).
Ah, well, you'll figure it out as you go along. :P

    After the Forgotten Team...

-The Boy heads off to Realgam Tower, where he faces off against one of Cipher's top admins, named Evice, whom was also the mayor of Phenac City.

-The Boy defeats Evice quite easily, but as he tries to escape in a helicopter Ho-oh shoots down the copter and Evice is arrested. Ho-oh joins the Boy's team.

-Now fully aware of what the Boy is capable of, the head of Cipher's organization sends another threat to the Boy, saying that his mother has been taken captive and that if he does not comply, terrible things will happen to her. This threat is proven to be a bluff, as the Boy calls her and finds out she is all right.

-In Sinnoh, Uxie is "excommunicated" by Arceus as Uxie disobeyed him by not foretelling his future. As a result, Uxie is captured by Team Galactic. Arceus regrets his decision. Dialga and Palkia become more unnerved.

-In Orre, the Boy reaches a base of Cipher, where the Shadow Pokemon are being produced. In the process, he fights off one of Cipher's top elites, whom also has the three Legendary Beasts, Raikou, Entei and Suicune. All three of them were turned into Shadow Pokemon. The Boy defeats the elite, and captures the three Beasts.

-The Boy brings the three Beasts to an older town in Orre called Agate Village, where he purifies the Beasts and Rayquaza with the aide of an ancient, mystical column made of stone... and by Celebi.

-The Boy infultrates another one of Cipher's secret headquarters, where he finds one of their most horrifying creations. Not only has Cipher been planning on dominating the world with Shadow Pokemon, they also wanted to create "fusion" Pokemon. Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres are found fused into one being, called Zapmolcuno. The Boy manages to capture the giant bird, and brings it to Agate Village, where by the help of Celebi he is able to defuse the three. The Birds join his party.
In Sinnoh, Azelf has disappeared. Darkrai suspects Team Galactic... and fears for the safety of Mesprit.

-The last hurrah: The Boy manages to locate the true headquarters of Cipher, located on an island far from the coast of Orre. It is surrounded by a storm, but using Kyogre he is able to calm the storm and reach the island. There, he meets the Cipher creator: Greevil. The man sends out Lugia, whom has become one of Cipher's most powerful Shadow Pokemon. Greevil explains that he has been trying to create the darkest hearted of all Pokemon, and only Rayquaza and Lugia were able to reach such a state. Lugia was dubbed XD001, while Rayquaza XD002. However, XD002 was too powerful for Cipher to contain, so they transported him to his native land of Hoenn, hoping it would calm him... It was only then when Groudon and Kyogre were unleashed, releasing XD002 from his prison.
The Boy takes on XD001, and captures him. Cipher disbands, and Greevil is sent to prison after realizing his mistakes.
    In Sinnoh, Mesprit has disappeared.

-Before leaving Orre, the Boy goes to Agate Village one last time. He purifies the dark-hearted Lugia, and Celebi joins his team. The Boy heads out to a place called Fiore.

-Once there, the Boy brings only his trusty Charizard to set off on a new adventure... as a Pokemon Ranger?
Hearing of his exploits, the Pokemon Rangers of Fiore give the Boy a shot at being one of them. He does remarkably well in his trial run, and is allowed to monitor Fiore for a week before he heads off.

-While in Fiore, Team Go-Rock Squad emerges. They steal the Boy's Raikou, Entei and Suicune, and bring them to an old site where an ancient civilization once resided. Team Go-Rock Squad manages to unlock the city's hidden capabilities: A machine which can manipulate the minds of any Pokemon, and have them do their bidding.

-The Boy attempts to stop the Squad from doing any more damage... but reaches the area too late as the Squad relocates to another hidden location.

-Hearing reports of disturbances in the mountainous areas of Fiore, the Boy -- along with two other Pokemon Rangers, Lunick and Solana -- go off to do justice. In the process, they meet with a rogue band calling themselves the Go-Rock Quads. They are easily beaten.
As the Boy and his two partners head towards the mountains, they must cross an ocean, so to reach them faster... Upon reaching the shore, the Boy discovers a transparent blue egg. Inside, it houses a string of yellow "beads", which circle around a red core... The "egg" glows upon being touched by the Boy, but does nothing more after that. The Boy carries the egg with him on his journey.

-After going through a jungle and being ambushed by the Go-Rock Quad, the three reach the summit of the mountains, where the head of Team Go-Rock, Gordor (an ex-professor of Lunick and Solana) congratulates them, and uses the machine found at the ruins to summon the possessed Raikou, Entei and Suicune to do battle with the three. Lunick takes on Raikou, Solana takes on Suicune, and the Boy takes on Entei. The three Beasts are defeated, and the machine used by Gordor malfunctions as the Pokemon of Lunick and Solana, Plusle and Minun, use Discharge to disrupt the machine's wave frequencies. Gordor escapes... The Boy reunites with/recaptures the three Beasts.

-As the Boy is heading out of Fiore to find the dock, he is once more ambushed by the Go-Rock Quad, whom state that "Team-Go Rock has not been disbanded... [and] that it will live on!". However, before the Quad can attack, Gordor appears. It turns out the Go-Rock Quad is in fact his four children, whom only wanted to please their father. In turn, he tells them now in order to please him, to "let Team-Go Rock rest in peace... as everything [he had] done, was all a mistake, and that the family should be together as a family."
Team Go-Rock disbands once and for all. The Boy heads off... towards Sinnoh.
Darkrai greatly anticipates the Boy's arrival...

    * * *

-The Boy takes his first steps on the Sinnoh continent. He brings with him only his Charizard, and is given the privilege of having the three starters of Sinnoh for his own.
That night, Darkrai gives the Boy a NightMare, which he says was "almost as satisfying as when I defeated Mewtwo."

-The Boy continues on his journey, and obtains his first Gym Badge.
    Team Galactic emerges.

-Team Galactic sets out in motion... It is revealed that they had indeed captured the Psychic Trio, Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf, but never explained what they planned to do with the three.
The Boy obtains his second and third Gym Badges.

-Some time later, the Boy has already finished his Seventh Gym Leader, and is heading for the Eighth... but as he is, he is attacked by a Galactic Admin, Mars. Mars is defeated.
It is later found out Dialga has been captured.

-The Boy is once more interrupted on his journey, as Mars returns with two more admins: Jupiter and Saturn. The three prove to be powerful opponents for the Boy, but are overwhelmed by him regardless. The three evade capture...
Palkia is found out to have been captured as well. Arceus does nothing. Darkrai mocks Arceus's fear, as Darkrai thinks that the vision of Arceus may be coming true... The vision of his capture from many years ago.

-The Boy obtains his final Gym Badge, and sets off towards the Pokemon League...

-The Boy defeats the Pokemon League, but as he sets off to finish capturing Pokemon, Team Galactic reemerges... accompanied by a new team. Neo Team Rocket. It turns out that the Team Rocket in Johto was merely a distraction, so that Team Rocket members could ship out towards Sinnoh. It was with the help of Neo Team Rocket that Team Galactic was able to capture Dialga and Palkia.
Sinnoh is taken over by the might of the two teams. The Boy, as he had done in the past, stands strong to confront the new threat. Darkrai stands by, as Arceus calls all the Legends to "prepare for a war."

-The Boy learns that Team Galactic and Neo Team Rocket are conducting their activities in one of the cities of Sinnoh, Veilstone.
As he makes his way there, he is accompanied by Sinnoh's ex-Championess, Cynthia.

-With the two working together, they break through Veilstone's heavily guarded borders and make their way to Team Galactic and Neo Team Rocket's main HQ. They confront Mars, Jupiter and Saturn, accompanied by two of Neo Team Rocket's Sub Leaders -- Shum and Cart -- but the five are defeated.
Cynthia and the Child manage to find two masterminds behind Neo Team Rocket: Will and Karen, both of whom were two of four members of an old Elite Four for Kanto. The two were fired from the Elite Four for being found out to be members of the old Team Rocket, and the two had sworn vengeance since.
Cynthia and the Boy manage to defeat Will and Karen, and find out the place where Neo Team Rocket and Team Galactic are continuing their main activities: In the heart of Mt. Coronet.
Before leaving, the Boy discovers Azelf, Mesprit and Uxie being contained, all three being drained of their powers. He frees them from their prisons...

    Quote from Muigi

[Today 01:46 PM] Muigi: Godzilla could kick that beached-whale monster's ass anyday.

  • -Cynthia and the Boy make their way to Mt. Coronet, where they face three more of Neo Team Rocket's elites: Ken, Ryu and Harry. Along with them, the Sub Leaders Shum and Cart reappear, and as the five seem to gain an upperhand, the Psychic Trio intervenes and the five are defeated. Cynthia and the Boy make their way into the heart of Mt. Coronet... where they discover a most terrifying secret.
The leader of Neo Team Rocket turns out to be someone going under the name "the Mask of Ice," while Team Galactic's main leader is Cyrus.
Cynthia takes on Cyrus, while the Boy takes on the challenge of the Mask of Ice. Cynthia is defeated by Cyrus, however, and the Boy is doubleteamed by Cyrus and the Mask of Ice... The Psychic Trio reappear once more, and with their help the Boy defeats Cyrus and the Mask of Ice.
The Mask of Ice is unmasked, and is identified to be Pryce, a Gym Leader in Johto. His true intentions are revealed: It is learned that one of his Pokemon, a Lapras, had died early because of a mistake he caused as a child when he had it in his party. As a result of this, Pryce wanted to find a way "to reverse time" so to amend this mistake. When he heard of Dialga, he wanted to use the Pokemon's power so to find a way to go back in time and save his Lapras. But in order to do so, he had to become a powerful individual... He decided to become Team Rocket's new leader, so to gain the respect of the other organizations so that they would help him acheive his unmentioned goal of "taming time." It was never mentioned by him beforehand what he wanted to do...
Because of this, Cyrus is infuriated at Pryce's sympathy for his Pokemon, and releases his own concoction. It turns out that while Neo Team Rocket and Team Galactic had joined forces, Cyrus betrayed Neo Team Rocket and ran experiments of his own with the newly captured Dialga and Palkia. And with the powers of the Psychic Trio, he was able to create a Pokemon that is, as he says, "far superior in power than Arceus."
Dialkia, a fusion of Dialga and Palkia, is revealed. It is learned that when Cyrus had heard of Cipher's fusion of Zapdos, Moltres, and Articuno, Cyrus took it upon himself to create his own fusion. Therefore, he used Dialga and Palkia. And with the creature under his command, he would take over the world and form it into his own image.
Cyrus orders Dialkia to attack the Boy, Cynthia and Pryce... but instead, Dialkia goes berserk and breaks free from Cyrus's control. It instead crosses the realms of time and space together... where, as a result, the world would disappear into nothing, as if it never existed. They were being dragged into a realm where nothing could exist... a place Arceus himself had never heard of.
As a result of Dialkia's action, Arceus descends from the Hall of Origin to tame the rampaging beast, as the world is quickly being sucked into nothingness. Pryce scolds Cyrus for such an ignorant action, and now realizes that everything he had done was a big mistake. Cyrus goes mad, and lunges at Pryce, who in turn tries to fight back against the mad man. The two, however, end up being caught in a time-space rip caused by one of Dialkia's attacks, and the two disappear from existance...
    "I am sorry... my Lapras..."
Now caught in the duel between Arceus and Dialkia, Cynthia and the Boy try to escape... But as they are, the Psychic Trio emerges once more. And with the combined might of Arceus, the Psychic Trio, Cynthia and the Boy, Dialkia is finally stopped, and the world is brought back in sync, and brought out of catastrophe.
Because of the huge amounts of energies it had used, Dialkia splits into Dialga and Palkia once more... Azelf, Uxie and Mesprit join the Boy's team, as do Dialga and Palkia... Cynthia departs, as does Arceus.

-With the world back in order, the Boy continues his journey to capture all 493 Pokemon... Darkrai, now fully aware of the Boy's power (as he had seen it first-hand in the shadows as Arceus and the Psychic Trio fought with Dialkia), he contacts the Boy in his dreams...

-The following morning, the egg the Boy had been carrying since his journey into Fiore hatches. It is Manaphy. The Boy leaves Manaphy in the care of a Day Care, and sets off to face Darkrai's challenge.
The following night, the Boy captures Cresselia.

-As the morning arises, the Boy finally reaches Darkrai on his island... Darkrai fights against the Boy's Charizard, Empoleon, Infernape and Torterra... but is eventually brought to his knees by Mesprit. Darkrai is captured...
As Darkrai overhears his "new master" in a conversation to his Charizard, he mentions how "Darkrai had to have been one of the easiest Legendaries I had ever encountered." Darkrai enters a deep depression, as his spirit is broken by these words... and harsh reality...

    * * *

-Some time later, Darkrai is recovering from his personal struggle, being kept on the Boy's team along with Cresselia, Charizard, Regirock, Regice and Registeel. The Boy brings the three Regi's to the Hollow Husk of Regigigas, where the Boy awakens the creature and manages to capture it...
During the time when Darkrai was in his depression, the Boy was using Darkrai and Cresselia more and more frequently in tag-team battles. Darkrai begins to feel a new emotion for Cresselia, as he witnesses her power and envies it.
So far, the Boy has captured Azelf, Uxie, Mesprit, Darkrai, Cresselia, Regigigas, Manaphy, Dialga, Palkia and Heatran.

-After a day's journey, the Boy reaches a new place: Turnback Cave. In there, he confronts the mighty Giratina, whom Darkrai goes against himself. The two settle their old score, with Giratina being captured by the Boy and joining his party with Cresselia, Darkrai, Charizard and Jirachi.
The following night, Giratina apologizes to Darkrai for his actions, saying that Darkrai "had every right to hate [him] for betraying him." Darkrai accepts Giratina's apology, and the two amend their Broken Pact.
In that same night, Darkrai meets with Jirachi, whom says that he has monitored Darkrai's changing ways, and says that he will grant any desire of Darkrai. As a result, Darkrai holds the offer... One wish he has in mind is to resurrect the She-Darkrai...

    Quote from Muigi

[Today 01:46 PM] Muigi: Godzilla could kick that beached-whale monster's ass anyday.

  • -The following morning, it is learned that Manaphy had (somehow) had an egg. The egg hatches, and a healthy Phione, the Prince's Child, is born into the world.
    "...I wish them well."

-On one particular night, the Boy allows Darkrai and Cresselia to battle one another. He had read about the two's supposed feud, and said that if they wished to settle this, it was best to do it now. It turns out to be a Half Moon -- the perfect time for a battle with Cresselia and Darkrai, as the two are evened in strength.
In the end, Cresselia ends up prevailing. Darkrai is stunned by her powers... As a result of the battle, it reminds Darkrai of an old challenge. He enters the Boy's dreams and requests that sometime he wishes to do battle with the Genetic Being, Mewtwo.

-The following morning, Darkrai and Mewtwo battle. Darkrai prevails in the rematch, leaving Mewtwo amazed, and respecting Darkrai even more so. The two become more friendlier after their match.

-Now emptying his party some, the Boy brings with him Charizard, Darkrai, Cresselia and Uxie to a new place... Upon reaching the place, it turns out to be the spot where a White Rock lay. The White Rock has a strange coding... that the Boy cannot make out. However, he knew of this, and summons Uxie to unscramble the coding. Darkrai learns that the Boy had been studying in the library in Canalave, and he learned of Shaymin's legend. Since Uxie was the Knowledge Pokemon, the Boy used Uxie to uncode the words.
To THEE do I give my thanks.
As a result of breaking the code, a strip of land appears, leading to the sanctuary where Shaymin is being held. But instead of battling her, Shaymin happily joins the Boy's party.

Later that night, the Boy confronts Darkrai... It turns out that the Boy had fibbed about what he said about Darkrai being the easiest Legendary he ever encountered, and continued saying that he only said that so to "break" Darkrai's evil spirit... In reality, Darkrai had been one of the strongest Legendaries he had ever encountered.
Darkrai... forgives the Boy for this. He thinks as to how the Boy may have lied to him, but it was for his own good... so to give up on his old, dying ways. But, on the other hand, there was Arceus, whom lied to Darkrai with the She-Darkrai for Arceus's OWN good...
As the Boy goes into sleep, Darkrai enters his dreams... and says that he knows how to reach Arceus, the Boy's final Pokemon to capture.

-In the morning, Darkrai leads the Boy back to his island (as the Boy is equipped with Charizard, Darkrai, Lugia, Mewtwo, Rayquaza and Deoxys), where he shows the Boy an item Darkrai had long since forgotten since his days with the She-Darkrai.
    The Azure Flute.
Darkrai tells the Boy that in order to reach Arceus, he would have to travel back to where Arceus first appeared: at the summit of Mt. Coronet... Spear Pillar... the Hall of Origin.
The Boy does so, and uses the Azure Flute. A mystifying song plays... and steps lead to a dimension, where Arceus awaits.
I would never want to harm my Master...
    Never...
    ...Never...

-The Boy sends out Darkrai first. Arceus is enraged at Darkrai for bringing this Boy to him (fearing that the prophecy of his may be coming true, with his inevitable capture by the hands of a child), and said that as a result, he would utterly destroy Darkrai for his disobedience.
Darkrai and Arceus battle, both of whom use the strongest moves in their arsenal. But as the battle comes to a close, Arceus uses his signature move: Judgment. The move is so powerful that it KOs Darkrai in one blow... He blacks out...

When he awakens some hours later, it is learned that the Boy is in a Pokemon Center. He had lost. The Boy had suffered his first ever defeat as a Trainer... at the hands of Arceus.
However, instead of dwelling on the past, the Boy had come up with a plan... so to defeat Arceus once and for all, and to show the creature that he was a Pokemon just like any other...

-A day passes, and the Boy returns to the Hall of Origin, so to confront Arceus once more.
Arceus gladly accepts the Boy's challenge.
The Boy sends out Mewtwo as his first Pokemon. Arceus and Mewtwo battle... Mewtwo uses moves such as Aura Sphere, but in the end he is shot down by a Hyper Beam.
Up next, Lugia. Lugia uses moves such as Aeroblast and Psychic, but he, too, is struck down by Arceus's awesome power.
After Lugia, the Boy sends out Rayquaza. Rayquaza manages to use the powerful techniques of Outrage and Extremespeed before he is shot down...
Deoxys follows shortly after, in his Attack form. With such speed, even Arceus seems to have a disadvantage as Deoxys manages to pull off moves such as Psycho Boost and Superpower, but because of its lacking defenses, Deoxys is fainted easily by only several of Arceus's landing moves.
Now down to two more Pokemon, the Boy sends out his faithful companion, the Charizard, whom manages to lower Arceus's speed stats with Scary Face. Though Arceus manages to get a Critical Hit on the Charizard, it pulls through and traps Arceus in a wall of fire, Fire Spin. However, as Arceus remains trapped, he uses a move... that takes a few turns to activate. Charizard uses this to his advantage, pulling off two moves -- Flamethrower, and Dragon Pulse -- before he is fainted by Arceus's Future Sight. The Fire Spin fades...
Finally, the Boy sends out his Darkrai. In the previous battle, Darkrai was at a loss as he was too slow to use his signature move, Dark Void. But in this battle, thanks to the help of Charizard's Scary Face, and all the previous Pokemon's moves to weaken Arceus... the move was successful.
Dark Void snares Arceus in its trap, and Darkrai enters his old Master's dreams... for the first time.

"...What I see, is a scene very similar to that of the Pokemon and the Trainers. Blackness... Complete darkness. There was even a hint of hopelessness... And in the center of it all, I saw Him. My Master... Arceus. He stood under a spotlight. He said nothing while staring into nothing, his body trembling, his color draining...
But it was not because his powers were being drained that he was trembling so... It was because his greatest NightMare stood before him. The NightMare... of his past.
Arceus stood about ten feet... while the thing in front of him, not even four. But what it was... or whom it was... surprised me little. It was the Boy. The same clothing, the same hair, the same smile... Everything... It was the Boy from my Master's ancient dream. And it was this Boy that was here in the present, the same prodigy whom has saved the world from complete destruction so many times. My new Master... and soon, my Master's Master."

As Arceus struggled to awaken from his slumber, the Boy managed to throw an Ultra Ball at the sleeping Arceus... The ball broke, but Arceus remained asleep. The Boy tried once more, throwing a Great Ball. Once again, the ball broke, but because of Darkrai's persistence, he held Arceus in the NightMare. Finally, the Boy threw one last ball: A simple Pokeball, the very one a Trainer would start off with.
It was with this Pokeball... that Arceus is captured at last.

    Walking Into the Sunset...

-Some days pass, and Arceus is beginning to enjoy his new life with his new "Master". The Boy, now the Pokemon Master he had always dreamed, continues his journey into the world, expecting great new adventures in his future, and hoping to run into plenty of new faces... and Pokemon... along the way.

And it is here that Darkrai reveals the wish he had waited so long to use:
"...And as we walk into the sunset, the wish that has plagued my dreams night and day, the very same wish Jirachi had offered me so long ago, finally pieces together into the thing I have longed for most. My selfish desire... is for my Master... my Friend... to be blessed on his journey, wherever he may roam, and that those accompanying him may, too, be strengthened in their minds, their bodies, and their spirits. May his Pokemon become one with him, and he one with them, as they work together as one should... As we should work together as one being.
Our lives may be separate... but our hearts shall live as one.

And with this, do I end these entries... these Entries of a Dark Heart."

    {Up next: Darkrai's true... final entry.}
