I don't think he made the compilation himself. I think he was just sharing the image with us. Still your observations are spot on.
Maybe you can photoshop them into.

I love the Nintendo logos progression.
I had no idea there were so many.
It makes sense, seeing how old the company is but it never really dawn on me the implications of trying to reinvent themselves to keep relevant.

It's a nice diagram, though some of the changes seem to be virtually non existent (like the Game Boy/DS versions one, where the entire row are variants on the same basic design).

I didn't make the compilation myself. I stumbled upon it on another website, and it seemed really impressive... At least to me, but then again, I'm not a hardcore Nintendo fan...

Although some images are outdated I agree with you it is an impressive compilation.
The Logos is probably my favourite compilation of them all.
