Which of the two gaming giants do you prefer: Steam or Origin? They both have their awesome titles and their failures. It's true that Steam stomps in terms of number, but some people consider Origin games to be of higher quality.
What do you think?

I have never heard of Origin. Steam is the winner for me. XD

Really? The Sims? Fifa? Battlefield? They're some pretty popular series that Origin prides itself with...
I just bought those from Wal-Mart. XD
I think that Steam does offer some pretty good deals on some pretty big name titles, but I think the policies that Origin prides itself with are commendable. Also, Origin has handed me more FREE games than Steam ever has. On the house deals up the wazoo over on Origin. Their most recent giveaway (that I know of) was Jade Empire. Imma play me sommadat. ;3
I don't know if comparing them would be fair. Suffice to say, Steam has it's sticky fingers in everything. I can go to humblebundle, or indiegala, or what have you, and buy games that have Steam keys and DRM free copies. I like to put everything neatly on Steam or hand the key to another friend, and keep the drm free copy for myself. I don't know if Origin offers the same deal?
I actually really like G0G. I know it's not an option, but they are amazing. Probably my favorite out of them.
I didn't add GoG because they don't have their own games (at least, none that I know of). Steam and Origin are not just distributors, but also game developers (or owned by game developing companies).
I believe they own the Witcher franchise actually.
I use both. I like the on the house deals but I really dislike how EA is trying to shove Origin in order to play the games. Sims 4 was a disappointment for me, but a lot of my frustration was because of my internet problems and the software beinga brick wall between me and the game. Maybe they have fixed that, i haven't played Sims 4 ina good while offline like to notice.
Steam games you can download them and if you open them directly they play. They have sweet deals often and I find cool you can share your screen play and chat while in game with other people. I don't have my own Steam account and instead I just steal my partner's.

Oh, I had no idea about this. Thanks for telling me. That's a really great franchise. The last Witcher game was the most anticipated game of the year.

That would be true if Fallout 4 hadn't come out this year. =P
The deep loathing I feel for EA has thus far protected me from signing up an origin account. Steam is far from perfect, but it wins between these two options easily.

It's true that Fallout 4 caused more of a craze that Witcher 3, but I would have to say Witcher 3 has more quality to it.
Also, I loathe EA, but I like the way they run Origin overall. Steam has upped it's game recently to provide better service to it's customers, which has made me happy.

We're talking about anticipation, not quality. =P
arcsystems is porting their games to steam so
Guilty Gear Xrd, Blazblue CPEX, UNIEL, Melty Blood, Skullgirls I'd go for steam anyday.
still I'm a sucker for console.

Sorry.

Hey, but at least they make better games than Bethesda. When there are more bugs than good code, you know you're playing a Bethesda game...
