I am surprised we haven't openly made a thread for this yet, so now that the 'Nx" has been fully revealed and we've given a taste of the games to come up this year, how are you feeling about the Nintendo Switch?
Are you going to get it on launch?

I will not get it at launch. I would say a 6 month wait atleast. That will give them time to release patches for bugs that plague all new consoles. That is probably the real reason that they are giving everyone free premium for the first year, they know there are going to be some shitty times. I will buy my copy of BoTW for both consoles on day 1, just to have it. BUT I wanna beat it on my Wii U first. :p
I love everything about it. It's the perfect console for my lifestyle and I'll be there midnight launch, so excited to play Zelda. Haven't been this excited for anything since the GameCube.
I will, yes. I don't know if I'll get it when it first comes out. But I'm sure I'll either get it for my birthday or for Christmas as a present.

I will get one like I said, but I will play BotW on my Wii U first.
I think I'm glad I won't be getting it right away. First of all, they'll have some time to get all the bugs worked out. It seems like all consoles have a bug or two when they first come out, regardless of which company makes it. Second, I'll have some time to get to see what games they'll come out for the Switch. If a console doesn't have enough games for it that I like, then I won't buy it in the first place.

I don't like mobile gaming, I don't like motion control, and I haven't liked any Zelda games since Majora's Mask. So the Switch really doesn't have anything to offer me.

Regarding BotW, I'm honestly just indifferent. Aside from a few screenshots, I don't actually know anything about BoTW. It looks decently attractive, and I hear it's open world, but in 2017 every game is attractive and open world, so that doesn't really mean much. I understand it's also got DLC announced already? I take that as a pretty bad sign.

People constantly talk about how PC is better, but I can pop in any console game, besides a small update patch occasionally I can play the game.
Nothing pissed me off worse than buying a new PC game and then get told afterwards during install that my PC is too shitty to play the game. Then walmart wouldnt take ot back because it was opened.
The only exception is Majoras Mask and the expansion pak on the n64
Even Goat Simulator is too much for my computer 
I really want to get the Switch, but I really don't have the funds. I feel I'm missing out, but I hope to catch up eventually
