We're participating on FP's Site Battle Madness 2018

I have been a long time member of another community called "Forum Promotion". Each year during March they do some fun activities to give some exposure to sites and one of their highlights is the Site Battle Madness Tournament.

The mechanic is quite easy we progress via votes. In the following days there will be a 2 site battles. The one that gets more votes ascend s to the next bracket.

If you want to help us you can join and vote for us each of our battle thread. All you need is to have 10 normal posts beforehand. Easy peasy.

This will help us bring more awareness that our community exists and honestly I want to see how far we can push it.

So... The tournament started with 32 sites fighting in vote duels for a spot in the sweet 16.

I am happy to announce we made it to that second round.

So, just like last time the poll will be open for a few days. Then the votes will be counted.

You have to vote and post a comment. You don't have to say who you voted for if you don't want to. Also if you want to vote in the other polls and explore FP feel more than welcome to do so.

Preliminary results indicate we won by a landslide buuut we ought to wait for confirmation. Just in case people tried to vote before completing their 10 posts or use multiple accounts. Stuff like that.

I hope we can keep the lead. Being in semifinals would be so cool. To think people have liked our community enough to let us make it this far. I know I have been saying over and over but I am just so damn happy.

Gaming Latest and We are the gamers are the other two possible rivals for Zelda Community if we ascend to the next round.

Going by vote support, next round (if we make it) is going to be really tough. Every vote made in our favour will make all the difference.

Worth mentioning Gaming Latest is (iirc) the community side of the Gaming Reinvented website, one of our allies.

Gaming Latest itself is an old community too that has had its presence for many years.

Time out, I need first to really thank you all that have made it possible, seriously, with your votes you made possible we are here and this speaks so much of just how I need to pick up y act and give this place what it needs. Votes finalise on April 12. I'll make sure that they update the url if we win this round for the next poll.

Once again, I want to emphasise how needed will be any vote we can get in our favour in order to make it. Gaming Latest website and owner are well known at Forum Promotion.
If there is a round where I really felt the odds against us, it is this phase. So please, if you are considering it, don't leave it for later. Make then posts in FP and head straight to vote for us.
It might sound cheesy but your vote can truly make the difference. If we tie, we'll most likely lose, so we better not risk that possibility.

Sooo... Gaming Latest is in the recovery round so that means we won the round after they reviewed the votes... :???:

EDIT: Hahaha My bad. No. We lost the round. The save round is the winning rounds versus the two sites with most votes that lost in the past rounds. I am sorry for the misleading original post. I can be so clueless.

Now here is where it can get crazy as people may direct their members to vote strategically for the save rounds. Personally I am happy to see some of those sites getting a second chance.

Once again guys, we ought to celebrate and reward this somehow. Maybe some sort of thank you gift for every round we have passed thank to you.

This has been pretty amazing experience that our place was liked by some many. Definitely we can do this, we can make this the cozy, friendly and active Zelda hub community.

Yeah. Definitely a huge motivator to keep improving. ^^
