To be honest, Vehicle Maintaince is really hard to come by. If you want to learn more about it, I suggest you take your car to the dealership and ask him all the questions you want to know!

It is even more worrying the last one says it is 7 essential ones, imagine if you clicked one of the links above and didn't learn above one or two of these essential fluids.

The 7 one lists both "Battery Fluid" and "Windshield Wiper Fluid," neither of which seem very essential to me.

I mean, I guess if you have a car with a refillable battery. But I've never even seen one of those before.

I don't want to be the kind of person who doesn't do something because it's not easy. Nor do I want to be dependent on others to take care of myself. Nor do I want to spend mountains of cash when a little effort could save me thousands of dollars.

Do you have someone that knows of car that can help you check out your vehicle.
I think learning car maintenance is easier with someone that opens the car and shows you exactly what to look for in your own car.

Have you learned anything new about the fluids since August?

Yeah, I've got my car running again. At this point I'm just looking to tune it up and get it running better. I gotta replace a window that broke, install a new heater core, stuff like that.

My dad has been helpful in getting that stuff taken care of. I also bought my car's Haynes manual, which is a pretty awesome resource.

A Haynes manual sounds pretty good. Was it too expensive? Hopefully it wasn't difficult to find your car model.

The Haynes Manual was something like $20 or $30. A little pricy, but worth it I think.

I think the price is actually pretty affordable, considering how thick those books can be. Pretty useful information.
