Dishwasher makes the sponge obsolete. Like your ipad to my news cutting. It doesn't have to be related to the purpose of the picture, only to the picture directly.

Ah, I getcha. It just didn't register because I've always used both. I'd consider them tools with sepearate purposes, like a hammer and a screwdriver. But I concede the point.
